I have been to many in my travels. I agree some do. What I noticed most is they taught grace alone, But then unfortunately got legalistic when it came to sanctification, which is a danger I think for all churches and all believers.

I can't even do all my housework let alone go out to do anything. I'd be in flames too. :)

What we can do is worship Him. I know Jesus, Father, and Holy Spirit loves this!
Amen sister , with all our heart , soul , mind and strength...We can sing psalms to Him , praise His name , and even if we can not lift our head , He will lift it for us as we raise our eyes up to Him...

[h=1]Romans 8:35-39 New King James Version (NKJV)[/h]35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written:
“For Your sake we are killed all day long;
We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.”[a]

37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord...:)...Praise God and thank you Jesus , for when we are weak , we are made strong through you \:D/...xox...

no need to,

this thread is a reminder of the fig tree with no fruits to feed our Lord.

“Here is what Adonai-Tzva’ot, the God of Isra’el, says to all those in exile, whom I have caused to be carried off captive from Yerushalayim to Bavel: 5 ‘Build yourselves houses, and live in them. Plant gardens, and eat what they produce. 6 Choose women to marry, and have sons and daughters. Choose wives for your sons, and give your daughters in marriage to men, so that they can have sons and daughters — increase your numbers there, don’t decrease. 7 Seek the welfare of the city to which I have caused you to go in exile, and pray to Adonai on its behalf; for your welfare is bound up in its welfare.’

8 For this is what Adonai-Tzva’ot, the God of Isra’el, says: ‘Don’t let your prophets who are living among you and your diviners deceive you, and don’t pay attention to the dreams you urge them to dream. 9 For they are prophesying falsely in my name; I have not sent them,’ says Adonai.

10
“For here is what Adonai says: ‘After Bavel’s seventy years are over, I will remember you and fulfill my good promise to you by bringing you back to this place. 11 For I know what plans I have in mind for you,’ says Adonai,‘plans for well-being, not for bad things; so that you can have hope and a future. 12 When you call to me and pray to me, I will listen to you. 13 When you seek me, you will find me, provided you seek for me wholeheartedly; 14 and I will let you find me,’ says Adonai. ‘Then I will reverse your exile. I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have driven you,’ says Adonai, ‘and bring you back to the place from which I exiled you.’

figs or lack of?
15
“You say that Adonai has raised up prophets for you in Bavel. 16 But here is what Adonai says about the king occupying David’s throne and about all the people living in this city, your kinsmen who did not go into exile with you — 17 thus says Adonai-Tzva’ot:
‘I will attack them with sword, famine and plague; I will make them like bad figs, so bad they are inedible.
18 I will pursue them with sword, famine and plague and make them an object of horror to all the kingdoms of the earth; and they will bring on themselves cursing, astonishment, ridicule and reproach among all the nations where I have driven them; 19 because they have not paid attention to my words,’ says Adonai, ‘which I sent to them through my servants the prophets. I sent them frequently, but you refused to listen,’ says Adonai.

20 “So pay attention now to the word of Adonai, all of you in exile, whom I sent away from Yerushalayim to Bavel. 21 Here is what Adonai-Tzva’ot, the God of Isra’el, says about Ach’av the son of Kolayah and Tzidkiyahu the son of Ma‘aseiyah, who prophesy lies to you in my name: ‘I will hand them over to N’vukhadretzar king of Bavel, and he will put them to death before your eyes. 22 In fact, all those exiled from Y’hudah who are in Bavel will take up this formula for cursing:

“May Adonai make you like Tzidkiyahu and Ach’av, whom the king of Bavel roasted in the fire!” 23 because they have done vile things in Isra’el, committing adultery with their neighbors’ wives and speaking words in my name, falsely, which I did not order them to say. For I am he who knows; I am witness to this,’ says Adonai.

What on earth Pin?

I remember the one time we stayed tied up to coast guard pier in Detroit. Meand the chief electrician went on a bike ride, when we got back, people asked us where we went, when we told them, they said we were lucky to be alive

Sad it was not always like that ...but over time so much violence day and night...we used to go over the boarder at night for Mexican food all the time, looking back probably not that wise.

It s true....and on top of that I personally know preachers and pastors that minister in over two dozen states and 10 or so countries.....they all have death bed stories of both descriptions above........My friend Andy who died of cancer and pastored a church in Peoria, Illinois was in a coma like state and he always like Johnny Cash....they played a record for him and when the record finished he opened his eyes and looked at his wife and two daughters and smiled and said he loved them....then looked over in the corner, got a startled look which turned into a look of recognition with a big smile and he closed his eyes and went peacefully........

He believed in eternal security based upon faith..........

One of my sisters also was in a coma and yet, a minute before her death, she opened her eyes, looked around at our voices, smiled the most beautiful smile and one could feel the Holy Spirit in that room. To this very day, it gives me such a awesome feeling. We were in the presence of the Lord Himself.

I've been to Windsor a few times, either crossing the river on the Ambassador Bridge or the tunnel under the river. Very nice city.

Me and my brother got our bikes stolen at Belle Isle. We had walk at least 10 miles home.

This is why many Roman Catholics on their deathbed question their salvation because it's about works. Have I done enough works throughout my life? Am I going to heaven?

Bad, dangerous doctrine...
I agree, that is bad doctrine.

The question each of us has to ask ourselves is, "do I truly trust in the blood of Christ for salvation?", not, "have I done enough works to earn salvation".

The Bible tells us that we find the answer of if we truly trust in the blood of Christ by looking at our lives. John explains how people who look like Jesus in this life don't wonder in fear about the coming judgment. Their lives testify for them that they have the faith that justifies (not testify that they've done enough works to earn salvation). People who obey God's commands don't have to worry about if they truly believe and are saved or not.

People who don't obey God's commands and who don't look like Jesus in this life are the ones who can't know for sure if they are saved. They are the ones that gravitate towards the ear tickling teaching that assurance of salvation comes from 'once saved always saved'. The Bible does not teach that assurance comes from 'once saved always saved'. The problem with that doctrine of assurance is it still doesn't answer the fundamental question of whether you're even born again in the first place for that doctrine to even apply to you.

Its only in force at the GWT judgement. Not at the Bema.

and not for His body.
What does your assertion of mostly unused theological terms have to do with the fact that the law is in force today. At 73 and been a Christian since grade school and been an elder and deacon in 3 different churches (moved twice) I never heard those terms before. Methinks you are a bit of a showoff. Also eschatology has 4 seperate Biblical views and this is tied into that.

Matthew 5:17 to 20 NIV

The Fulfillment of the Law
17 “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. 18 For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. 19 Therefore anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven.

Every time we transgress the law we sin.

If we do not accept Jesus as our savior we will be held accountable for them at the time of judgment.

If we accept Jesus as our savior then our sins are imputed to Him and His rightnerighte is imputed to us. Therefore at the time of judgment we have been cleansed by His blood. A blood sacrifice is required to remove sins.
