Well why even believe that Jesus cures anyone then. If by curing one person, he must cure all, then his hands are tied.

I think it has to do with information, that you can't add or take away any energy or matter from the universe or it will blow up or something.
Jesus didn't cure everyone when He walked this Earth...he only cured one leper at the pool and his hometown sought to stone Him because he pointed out that Elijah just saved one widow....

So the logic is flawed.

God knows where to put us all in the end, that's why I think we have this temporary life, so he can find out our true desires.
I agree. I think this life is a test, but also a testimony to the heavenly host that rebelled against God that His plan is greater than theirs.

If you don't like what the new earth is like when you get there you can always sin and that will get you moved to the fiery lake. I doubt you will be any happier there.
Wow....gonna pray for you dude cuz I don't know why you would encourage folks to sin....just screams of wrongness.

If you're taught how to, then I can't see why you can't DIY.
Scripture teaches against this, We rate not equipped to DIY, in fact DIY is what got man in trouble to begin with. It is called sin.

We can't but the question is why do folks expect God to clean up their messes instead of growing up and doing it themselves or helping one another?

The question is personal and communally why don't we as Christians own up to our responsibility and duties that God expects us to do?

Why don't we mentor the youth and the new baby Christians?

Do we feed the hungry and the poor?

When we sin do we ask for forgiveness from, those we wrong and give atonement?

Do we study the Bible ourselves or just get feed small bird size pieces once a week at church while starving the rest of the week spiritually?

Do we do as the Bible says or are we just hypocrites pretending to be holy but inside filled with dead man bones?

****

Maybe I am reading too much into his post but that is what I got out of it.
All those things are great. But if you do those things of your own power and will it is called self righteousness.

Even doing thise things must be done from the power of God. Our source of power must always come from God, it is called being attached to the vine, Ubnless we are attached, we can produce no fruit. Fruit is what is produced when we do spiritual things.

Yeah EG, thought most folks knew that without God first pouring His love and wisdom into our hearts and minds, we don't have anything to give to anyone else. Yet He does give us love and words to share like living waters and a light to guide folks to a closer walk with Him.

It's true, sometimes i forget how long it took God to teach me His truths.

Thanks but save it for somebody who need it. The dude wanted to not be a part of the new earth. there is only one way to not be there. I'm quite sure when the dud gets resurrected he will be as happy as the rest of the people there.

Re:7:9-17:
After this I beheld,
and,
lo,
a great multitude,
which no man could number,
of all nations,
and kindreds,
and people,
and tongues,
stood before the throne,
and before the Lamb,
clothed with white robes,
and palms in their hands;
And cried with a loud voice,
saying,
Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne,
and unto the Lamb.
And all the angels stood round about the throne,
and about the elders and the four beasts,
and fell before the throne on their faces,
and worshipped God,
Saying,
Amen:
Blessing,
and glory,
and wisdom,
and thanksgiving,
and honour,
and power,
and might,
be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.
And one of the elders answered,
saying unto me,
What are these which are arrayed in white robes?
and whence came they?
And I said unto him,
Sir,
thou knowest.
And he said to me,
These are they which came out of great tribulation,
and have washed their robes,
and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
Therefore are they before the throne of God,
and serve him day and night in his temple:
and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.
They shall hunger no more,
neither thirst any more;
neither shall the sun light on them,
nor any heat.
For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them,
and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters:
and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

Even beasts of the field feel love and show love to others. How many people love strangers in that they would do the same things they would do for a family member. It is a very low percentage that can do that. Most nations hate all other nations.

M't:5:43-47:
Ye have heard that it hath been said,
Thou shalt love thy neighbour,
and hate thine enemy.
But I say unto you,
Love your enemies,
bless them that curse you,
do good to them that hate you,
and pray for them which despitefully use you,
and persecute you;
That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven:
for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good,
and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
For if ye love them which love you,
what reward have ye?
do not even the publicans the same?
And if ye salute your brethren only,
what do ye more than others?
do not even the publicans so?

Our faith is based on the Bible being as true to the facts as it says it is.

Would that be linked to when you walked away from God?

You don't have to answer any of my questions or if it's too personal you can pm me the answers.

I am just asking what I would if we meet in person.

Through I am curious about how God is calling you back to him?
Yes I will PM you.

FINALDESIRE, suffice it to say; you were healed, you are being healed, you are going to be healed...
That's not what the voices in my head say.

He only cured one leper? I am sure he cured a lot more people than that Ariel82.

I don't get this attitude that Jesus is somehow the ultimate baby sitter, I mean what is the point of God giving us this life if we are never going to learn how to take care of ourselves and each other without being told. The thought that Jesus is going to wipe up after us, to catch each crumb that falls from our mouths is over kill. God in his wisdom created us with our own freewill, that we still expect him to do it all for us.

Frankly, I don't like the idea of my God doing everything for me, how can I learn if I expect everything is done for me.

Something my late spiritual mother said to me:

"The cross and his sacrifice means that he has done everything he can do, and the rest is up to us"
The bible says that we reap what we sow. Sure, God may mitigate the damage but there still a price to be paid. God certainly has not done everything for me but is always there to guide me.

Luke 4
25But in truth, I tell you, there were many widows in Israel in the days of Elijah, when the heavens were shut up three years and six months, and a great famine came over all the land, 26and Elijah was sent to none of them but only to Zarephath, in the land of Sidon, to a woman who was a widow. 27And there were many lepersa in Israel in the time of the prophet Elisha, and none of them was cleansed, but only Naaman the Syrian.” 28When they heard these things, all in the synagogue were filled with wrath. 29And they rose up and drove him out of the town and brought him to the brow of the hill on which their town was built, so that they could throw him down the cliff. 30But passing through their midst, he went away.
