regardless.....Jimmy Swaggart, Creflo Dollar, Joseph Prince, Joyce Meyer, Joel Osteen etc. notwithstanding.....abstractions without an event can save no one......regardless of who slaps a definitive label on a general statement.......
Guilt by association is a weak debate tactic. Don't you agree?
Facts?? Lol give it up dude.Hey, I am sorry the facts point out what you cannot accept..... It does not matter to me.... LOOK IT UP and post convincing to the otherside. please.
All of my examples are of people who believe as you do, that baptism is not for the remission of sins....hence your guilt by association.....baptism (Acts 2:38) and circumcision (Gen. 17:14) were both identifiers as was the wedding garment in Matt. 22:12.....nothing more, nothing lessNo not really...especially since your cited examples have no bearing on my belief.......and regardless.....water does not save nor add to salvation nor finish off salvation just as circumcision had no bearing on the salvation of an O.T. saint...both were and are identifiers.....nothing more, nothing less!

Sounds like identifiers are rather important.

Swing and a miss...Abraham was justified by works (James 2:21) his righteous would have been revoked like others, had he not obeyed.....generalities do not save a flea, much less a man...baptism is the PUBLIC declaration of a clear conscience toward God that now saves us (1st Peter 3:21) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ....the thought does not save, the act of FAITH does....next batter.Nice try, but no ceeegar....Abraham was declared righteous by FAITH long before he was whacked or offered Isaac...Baptism does not save a flea, much less a man...it is the PUBLIC declaration of faith and states to the world you have died with Christ, been buried with Christ and have been resurrected a new creation in Christ JESUS....the PICTURE does not save the act of FAITH does....try again![]()
Maybe he’s trolling? I don’t get it either but he’s good for a laugh. You are no strange dude.
Tell that to the wedding guest without the proper garment.yet they do not save, neverhave never will

Not hardly...James is not about salvation.....but rather men being able to see the invisible faith that save by their deeds or works...
PAUL-->Therefore we conclude that ABRAHAM was justified by FAITH without works and DAVID described the blessedness of the man to whom GOD imputes righteousness without works...
Your pitcher balked....gave me a man on base a move to 2nd and put one on first and I just hit a triple.....
And to add a stand up double.....Peter was clear...NOT the putting away of the filth of the flesh....it is the first act of obedience, a work of righteousness and gives one a good conscience before GOD....
3 to nothing with no outs and a man on second....try again![]()
"What good is it brothers if a man said he has faith but has no works? Can faith save him?" James 2:14 James most certainly is about salvation. Not hardly...James is not about salvation.....but rather men being able to see the invisible faith that save by their deeds or works..
1 Peter 3:21 Christian Standard Bible (CSB).Peter was clear...NOT the putting away of the filth of the flesh....it is the first act of obedience, a work of righteousness and gives one a good conscience before GOD....

Through "Settings" at the top of every pageI’d post an even more current pic on my profile but I forgot how lol
Tell that to the wedding guest without the proper garment.
They were not clothed with the righteousness of Christ put on through faith in His shed blood for the remission of sin. "To him all the prophets bear witness that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name.” Acts 10:43. Hmmm, no mention of baptism there...Tell that to the wedding guest without the proper garment.
Lol. Thanks. I was able to add one of me and my goofy teenager on my profile. That boy will not take a “serious” pic to save his life.Through "Settings" at the top of every pageModules are then on the left.

"Pure and undefiled religion before God the Father is this, to look after orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep one self uncorrupted by the world."
