Hello all! I was trying to find a Christian site to chat to people. Chatting is a weakness of mine and being married it can be difficult to find chat conversations with people that are decent. I am looking for friends. I do struggle with social anxiety and what not and am more comfortable online. I am a Mom of 3 and next month will be married for 14 years. I am 34 and was baptized back in May of 2017. God is my rock and am looking for friends that feel the same way!

we're very glad to have you here… i understand the struggles of social anxiety, because i struggle with that myself and i feel way more secure online. but, it can be tricky to rely on social media all by itself most people here are decent but some can be a bit tricky… so dont expect this place to be the perfect place lol 
but i assure you… CC is something worth trying out

Why on earth would you think online chatting sinful. Of course it is not, as long as it is clean talk. I doubt you'll find any sinful talk here. Just encouragement to increase in the knowledge of the Lord.

I never thought it was sinful. I was just sparking up a debate. My Mom pretty much thinks that it is. I can't even talk to her about any conversations I have online. If I find good friends and what not, I can't share that with her or else I get the judgment and am pretty much considered and adulterer. I can tell her that each of my chats are clean and she'll shun me. So was just trying to get a consensus of what everyone thinks. I came to this site in hopes to be able to chat with other women because other chat websites, if you're a woman and you try to chat with another woman it's confused as if you are hitting on her. Yea, I know crazy, again which is why I am glad to have found a neutral site.
The best place for conversation is in the forums where you now are. Often, you can receive a rapid reply depending on the topic, time of day and what you say in a post. There are many ongoing conversations in the various forums and threads but feel free to create your own thread and post it in any forum you find appropriate. There are many decent people here that are worth knowing and possibly form a meaningful friendship with. God is my rock and salvation also. Glad to have you as part of our family. Welcome to CC.
Chatting online can be a form of Christian fellowship, at times can be spiritually edifying and uplifting, and is certainly not a sin.
