I beg to differ. You're not talking to unbelievers here though.
I would rather address atheists, at least they don't pose as believers.

I am gonna call this person out.
He said he would be happy to discuss any particulars. Yet 3 different people tried to discuss atonement and IS 53, And he has yet even tried to discuss what those 3 people said. Not only once, But all of those posts were reposted and he still has not even responded to any of them. Or tried to discuss them.
So Bluto. When this guy says he is willing to discuss. Do not call his bluff. He is not willing to discuss anything unless you believe like he does.
What? Are we going to have a shoot out? lol Dude, the thread is over 20 pages long, so I'm sure I missed a thing or two. What do you want to know?

Thank you, you said people did not respond to your Isa 53 comments, and I asked you to go back to post 141 and look at quite a few posts. That would be a good place to start my friend.
What? Are we going to have a shoot out? lol Dude, the thread is over 20 pages long, so I'm sure I missed a thing or two. What do you want to know?
God does not control the weather? Many, many verses dispute that. Even in Job, Satan had to get permission to bring the whirlwind that flattened the houses. Does Satan now bring the rain from its storehouses and tell the clouds where to go and God just has to bear it?
Then why did Paul ask the believers at Ephesus "have you received the Holy Ghost since you believed?" (Acts 19:2) If the baptism of the Spirit is the new birth he should have said "I'm glad you all have the Holy Ghost because you're believers". After Jesus' resurrection He appeared to His disciples and breathed on them and said "receive the Holy Spirit". (John 20:22) That's when they received the indwelling of the Holy Spirit that all believers have, but they didn't receive the baptism for empowerment (Acts 1:8) for seven more weeks on the Day of Pentecost. It's a subsequent experience to the new birth.
Okay, I went back and looked and I don't see anybody addressing me or my comments. They're talking to Ben. I see lots of discussion of Is. 53 but no responses to my specific questions. If Isaiah 53:4,5 apply to us, and if the context is physical healing, that means that "by His stripes we are healed" applies to us in the context of physical healing. You either have to say that the context isn't physical healing, which is contrary to Matthew 8:16,17, or you have to say that it doesn't apply to us today, which would seem to deny us all of the benefits of the substitutionary work of Christ in the atonement.
Death is a byproduct of sin also. DO people still die? Is Paul still living and walking the earth today being an apostle?Certainly the sin aspect is included, but since sickness is a byproduct of sin it would stand to reason that Jesus bore that as well, in light of what Matthew said.
Oh, do tell me who does.
Or rather perhaps you would like to explain to all the readers here how you so came about this conclusion and spoke so willfully in haste. You are showing familiarity to those with keen eyes growing brighter and fiercer. Only the fallen ones wish to diminish the Sovereignty of the Savior of the world. The Holy One Moves hurricanes at His will alone. And as ive stated before.
The enemy is wailing about now in severe pain in knowing its time is short. There will be no pity for its seed and kind anymore.
They have attempted many forms of imputing sin where there is none countless times through many form of media, and even attempted to creep into houses that have grown far more passive than the Lord ever called His Children to be.
Gentleness and Kindness are kept guard by Faithfulness and Knowledge.
And so again the enemy while anticipating the torment of impending destruction goes about seeking whom they can devour.
But the sheep will not answer the voice of a strange fire.
Yes... We go by God's Word 100% and all born again Christians who say they are born again hold to the statement of faith below right..?
Statement of Faith
1. We believe the Bible is inspired and empowered by God, infallible and authoritative.
2. We believe in one eternal God who exists as three separate persons; the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
3. We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life as He walked among men, demonstrated the authority and power of God in works and speech, died on the cross, rose from the dead on the third day, and is now seated at
the right hand of God having accomplished all that is necessary for man’s salvation.
4. We believe it is essential for man to repent of sin and by faith receive the finished work of Christ by confessing Him as Lord with his mouth and believing in his heart resulting in regeneration by the Holy Spirit.
5. We believe the Holy Spirit is continuing the work He started at Pentecost empowering believers to live a godly life and continue in all the works of Jesus.
6. We believe in the imminent return of Jesus and that those who have believed in Him will be resurrected to a heavenly dwelling in an incorruptible body, and those who do not believe will join Satan and his host in everlasting punishment.
7. We believe the true Church is composed of all born-again believers in Christ, regardless of denominational affiliation.
8. We believe all born-again believers have been commissioned to share the complete Gospel to all the world.
(NOTE: It is difficult to tell all we believe in 8 sentences, but we make this statement of faith available to those who ask for one so they will know we are Bible-believing Christians. Listening to our teachings will give you much more information. We appreciate your interest in growing in the things of the Lord!)
Some Christians want to take it further.... saying we all have to be the same in matters like.... baptism by water immersion and others say sprinkling is enough... Are these Christians heretics?
and what of this; If one speaks in tongues but their neighbor does is one a heretics? Pastors..deacons.. and no female pastors only deaconess... are they heretics? ...
Raising hands in prayer/ not raising hands in prayer.....
and what about baptism of the Holy Spirit ? are those who teach this heretics?
healing in the atonement or no healing in the atonement..
Are these issues and others I've seen added the kind God wants the church to fight over. I don't believe so. What do you think? Can you add some of your own?
I have posted the scripture but you don't understand it.
The enemy has no permission to do any sort of semblance of what is written in iyov to any believer in Yeshua. You are the one who has spoken in haste if you think I said God doesn't control the weather. And to add to your hasty mistake, you say I resemble or seem to have familiarity with Satan and his demons. If the problem is IQ and an inability in reading comprehension, you aren't to blame, but given how eloquently you worded my resemblance to and familiarity with fallen angels, I don't think the problem is reading comprehension. I would guess its a desire to speak without listening and a desire to be admired.
Mar 3:10 For he had healed many; insomuch that they pressed upon him for to touch him, as many as had plagues.
Mar 5:31 And his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?
Mar 1:34 And he healed many that were sick of divers diseases, and cast out many devils; and suffered not the devils to speak, because they knew him.
The reason why the people were thronging and pressing on Jesus was to touch Him, and the reason why they wanted to touch Him was because they believed they too would be healed. But as you can see in the situation with the woman with the issue of blood, she was the only one who got healed after touching Jesus. She believed but all the others apparently didn't because Jesus told the woman, "your faith has made you whole".
Also I would like to point out the word "many". Many is NOT all.
And why wasn't Jesus able to heal but a FEW SICK folk? It was because of the people's lack of faith.
Point being, the one praying can have both the faith and anointing to heal, as Jesus did, but if the person in need of healing has doubts, many times, they don't get their healing.
The sick many times need to have faith as well.
That is why I said Jesus didn't have a 100 percent success rate.
The enemy has no permission to do any sort of semblance of what is written in iyov to any believer in Yeshua.
I have no need to explain what i see in the Spirit, and what you do not. This thread is about Healing and is a place where healing will take place.
sshhh remain quiet woman,.You're a piece of work, you are. You just change what you say. First you have an unholy fit that I appear to you to be saying God does not control the weather when what I was saying was the exact opposite. Now you're having a fit that God gave permission to Satan in Job to bring a whirlwind and collapse houses. Take your unholy fits elsewhere. I certainly won't enable you in your tantrums.
thank God throughout the history of the Church, men have been willing to do battle over sound doctrine. without it, there would be no statement of faith to post.
Tim Challies says:
The third test is the test of consistency. Sound doctrine is consistent with the whole of Scripture; false doctrine is inconsistent with some parts of Scripture. There is a sameness or familiarity to true doctrine and a strangeness or unfamiliarity to false doctrine. The man who wrote the letter to the Hebrews warned his congregation about “diverse and strange teachings,” while Paul warned Timothy about accepting “different doctrine” (Hebrews 13:9; 1 Timothy 1:3, 6:3). Both meant to emphasize that doctrine must always be compared to the established, accepted body of truth. Those who are knowledgeable about that body of truth will be in the best position to immediately identify and refute what is false.
Because there can be no contradiction in the mind of God, there can be no contradiction in the revelation of God.
This is tied to a key theological principle, “the analogy of faith,” which is often explained with the phrase “Scripture interprets Scripture.”If the Bible originates in the infallible mind of God, it must be consistent throughout. Because there can be no contradiction in the mind of God, there can be no contradiction in the revelation of God. What the Bible teaches in one place it cannot refute in another. Therefore, any true doctrine must be consistent with the whole of Scripture. Doctrine must never be treated in isolation, but always in light of a correct understanding of the entire Bible. Too many false teachers isolate verses or ideas that cannot withstand the scrutiny of the whole Book.
The test: Is this doctrine established or refuted by the entirety of Scripture?

It is you that does not understand nor were given Understanding
John 18 Complete Jewish Bible (CJB)
18 After Yeshua had said all this, he went out with his talmidim across the stream that flows in winter through the Vadi Kidron, to a spot where there was a grove of trees; and he and his talmidim went into it. 2 Now Y’hudah, who was betraying him, also knew the place; because Yeshua had often met there with his talmidim. 3 So Y’hudah went there, taking with him a detachment of Roman soldiers and some Temple guards provided by the head cohanim and the P’rushim; they carried weapons, lanterns and torches. 4 Yeshua, who knew everything that was going to happen to him, went out and asked them,
“Whom do you want?”
“Yeshua from Natzeret,” they answered.
He said to them,
“I AM.” Also standing with them was Y’hudah, the one who was betraying him. When he said,
“I AM,”
they went backward from him and fell to the ground. 7 So he inquired of them once more, “Whom do you want?”
and they said, “Yeshua from Natzeret.”
“I told you,
‘I AM,’”
answered Yeshua,
“so if I’m the one you want, let these others go.”
9 This happened so that what he had said might be fulfilled, “I have not lost one of those you gave me.”
