At that moment the talmidim came to Yeshua and asked,
“Who is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven?”

He called a child to him, stood him among them, 3 and said,

“Yes! I tell you that unless you change and become like little children, you won’t even enter the Kingdom of Heaven! So the greatest in the Kingdom is whoever makes himself as humble as this child. Whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me;
and whoever ensnares one of these little ones who trust me, it would be better for him to have a millstone hung around his neck and be drowned in the open sea!

Woe to the world because of snares! For there must be snares,
but woe to the person who sets the snare!

Woe to the one who sets the snare indeed.
And how many here have done so? And have especially used the account of iyov to do so.
For the readers growing in keenness they are learning like children who will be raised up a very special generation.

The enemy has no permission to do any sort of semblance of what is written in iyov to any believer in Yeshua.

I have no need to explain what i see in the Spirit, and what you do not. This thread is about Healing and is a place where healing will take place.

and I see you believe you are special and certain folk feed into it and compliment you

I would have said that a long time ago, but this seems a better opportunity

I have no need to explain why I say the above...your posts do a better job of it then I could anyway

you could not do better, in fact, unless you had a recording of either the x-files or the outer limits soundtrack looping while we read your......spooky and all knowing....posts

I bet you have to buy your hats in 'extra large' :p

warning: self congratulatory itinerant 'prophet' at large...bet some of you already knew it...I mean pinnacled ...plus 3 x 7? a pinacle is the highest point of something

I was reminded of the spooky mother in a movie I watched at around...16. It was called Carrie. ( Don't recommend the movie, but that's who he reminded me of, that character.)

false prophets (those who believe they are prophets of the OT variety) tend to try to mimic OT 'prophet-speak'...the difference is OT prophets made actual sense and you could learn something

false prophets just condemn...real ones ALWAYS point to God and offer help because God wants RECONCILIATION...remember God says He is not willing that anyone should perish..the false desires punishment to 'prove' how holy they are and to show their 'power'

false prophets cannot help themselves...it is part of the aura of their self righteousness

Okay, I went back and looked and I don't see anybody addressing me or my comments. They're talking to Ben. I see lots of discussion of Is. 53 but no responses to my specific questions. If Isaiah 53:4,5 apply to us, and if the context is physical healing, that means that "by His stripes we are healed" applies to us in the context of physical healing. You either have to say that the context isn't physical healing, which is contrary to Matthew 8:16,17, or you have to say that it doesn't apply to us today, which would seem to deny us all of the benefits of the substitutionary work of Christ in the atonement. Certainly the sin aspect is included, but since sickness is a byproduct of sin it would stand to reason that Jesus bore that as well, in light of what Matthew said.

Well, I see in deed Matthew 8, 16-17 as an fullfillment from Jesaja 53,4. But in the sense that Jesus is the Messajah. So as John 20, 30-31 says clear Why Jesus did the signs and miracles: Because they believe that Jesus is the son of God. But there is no promises that believers will physical healed. Non of the healed People in the Gospel where Children of God and had the Holy Spirit. To claim that physical healing is in the atonement as it taught in our days is a man Made creation. And a missinterpreting of Jesaja 53. Otherwise Why we dont find this teaching Anywhere in the NT

For the readers,

Those who scoff against the Healing Power of the Almighty are the Furthest from Grace.

They have neither sought the Lord wholly nor answered the door when the Lord asked for a place to rest his head.

I have given a testimony earlier in this very thread on how i was healed by the Lord wholly. Growing up with a life debilitating respiratory illness there was very little joy in life for me.
Even so i remained faithful and encouraged till the time came that i could run without hindrance.
I was ready to die a few times when fighting off sickness, yet the Lord said otherwise and at the Lords Will death flees.

Just as those soldiers fell to the ground in realization of their own powerlessness. I imagine they had been raised and taught by temple priest and pharisees that they were invincible with their crafty metal armor and weaponry. I believe the Poor souls were not so much to blame. Rather they were decieved for lack of knowledge. Because it was the very king david that once stood there in the face of an enemy dressed much like themselves. And that enemy boasted only for a moment before the stone struck its forehead and sealed its fate with a single blow.
No, the preist and teachers of the law were responsible for the soldiers, and they were Judged by the Righteousness of the Lord.

If you read this thread and threads like it, NO ONE, and I mean NO ONE! is scoffing the power of the almighty and his ability to heal people.

so this poster is either making up an argument that no one has made, is dishonest in what he is claiming, or not listening to a word anyone says.

either way. Take note.

note to all who actually can read and do not twist either the words of God from scripture or the words of believers in this forum

no one is scoffing at God healing

no one

just more empty words to sound important

God holds everyone as equals...we need to remember that..we are also supposed to hold others in higher esteem and not condemn them with phony words that try to make the poster sound like a prophet saying God is going to punish you

God is not going to punish anyone who questions Him about healing or prays about healing

God is not going to punish anyone who disregards the 'scary' words of false soothsayers

anyway, of course God heals! praise Him for His grace and mercy!

Compare Isaiah 53 with 1 Peter 2:24: "...who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed".

The context then is clearly spiritual healing, so forgiveness of our sins, the inner change, as a result of Jesus' sacrifice for us. "By His stripes we are healed"

It would be worrying to suggest this is referring to physical healing also, because all this will do is lead a believer to doubt their salvation when they don't get a physical healing, if they're taught it's guaranteed by the cross.

God does still heal, but it's according to His will and His timing, and not a guarantee for everyone either. Even Paul was denied healing....

2 Cor 12:7-10: "And lest I should be exalted above measure by the abundance of the revelations, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I be exalted above measure. Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me. And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong"

read your post after mine

frankly, I find it disgusting the way some will huff and puff and threaten people here or anywhere

it is fake and not from God

Not so, what people of this thread has done is say not my will but yours be done lord. I have faith no matter what happens. Because your will is far more important than my will.

I seek it by the will of God.

God never promised he would cure me of all disease. He would make me wealthy or he would make it that I do not suffer while in this body.

He promised that AFTER I leave this earth.

WHy do you not praise God for that promise?

You seek healing by the will of God? I understand this perspective is one of contentment, whether rich or poor. My issue with this is we have in scripture the woman who went to Jesus, believed, and received her healing by touching His garment. I must say, this was obviously by her own accord. She sought Him, believed that if she could only touch His garment she would be healed, and because she believed this her faith made her well (said Jesus).

This shows initiative, it shows faith in action. She didn't ask Jesus, "Lord, may I touch your garment that I may be made whole? What is your will?" She believed in His testimony no doubt, she heard of Him healing the sick as the news spread abroad. She wanted her healing and she went for it.

How is it any different today for a person to seek Jesus, who is risen and alive, and touch His garment, so to speak, and be healed? His testimony is that He healed all, again and again. Especially for those that believed. Cannot someone seek God and be healed on that reason alone? Hasn't His will in regard to healing always been affirmative? He has revealed His will, Jesus Christ is perfect theology. He healed all.

Based upon this, we can seek God for healing. We know His will through Jesus Christ. We know of His testimony. He healed all. So His will is not in question.

As scripture says,

2 Timothy 1:7
For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

Romans 8:15
For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.”

maybe we should invest in a thread about false visions and lying divinations and how people are oppressed by them

Ezekiel had something to say about that and his message was truly from God

would make an interesting thread I think

God says 'do not fear' and people come along and threaten others supposedly in the name of God

spiritual abuse

what IS in question is not God's words, but rather what some people make of them

Isaiah 53 refers to Jesus dying for our sins...he did not die to heal people

He healed people BEFORE His death

folks gotta learn to read and comprehend and stop confusing faith with presumption

Yes, She went to Jesus, as it was told when the messiah comes, these things will happen.

How is it any different today for a person to seek Jesus, who is risen and alive, and touch His garment, so to speak, and be healed?
Is Jesus here today? Does he need people to see these signs so they know he is the real messiah? I did not think so.

No prophet or signs went on for 400 year before Christ came. was that because no one had faith in God?

His testimony is that He healed all, again and again. Especially for those that believed. Cannot someone seek God and be healed on that reason alone? Hasn't His will in regard to healing always been affirmative? He has revealed His will, Jesus Christ is perfect theology. He healed all.

I pray everyone comes to God in faith, And have faith that if it is Gods will, he will heal them. But you better also have faith that if it is not Gods will, You need to continue to trust God in all things, because as he said, and it still stands today, His grace is sufficient,

Based upon this, we can seek God for healing. We know His will through Jesus Christ. We know of His testimony. He healed all. So His will is not in question.

HE healed all in testimony of who he was and what he came to do so no one could make an excuse they did not know who he was.

He does not have to do this today. He does not need to use signs today. As is spoken, a wicked an adulterous generation seeks after a sign.

why do you want people to only trust God if they are healed? why do you not want them to have faith if their particular thorn in the flesh is not removed?

eternally gratefull:
IF/only doubt,

(1)
"If physical healing was provided in the atonement
, then once a person was saved, all sickness and death would have ceased, We could talk to paul the apostle, and peter. And even john and have all of our arguments set straight about what they said, because they would still be alive,’’the fact they are {
dead }proves physical healing is not included."
(2)
"does that high calling say everyone will be healed? "

"I would call this thread: "Is Physical Healing In The Atonement? " answer : no."

Nice try, but no where in those posts did I deny God is able to heal anyone. Saying God may not chose to heal all people at all times is not denying God has the power to heal anyone.

so now you are also a deceiver. Way to go buddy.

Do you really think because you found healing everybody will be healed? He/ She has only to fight for. And if not then he/she fight not enough? Who healed you? God? Ore yourself? Do you believe you are more precious, then a Brother ore Sister which will remain sick ore handycapted? Is it not Gods grace that you are healed and not your strenghten?
You Sounds that your strenghten had healed you, and you Blame all others which are still sick and handycapted they would not Search God hard enough.
