You are right about the lack of facial expression and little nuances, especially with a member who just joined. After awhile you have a pretty good idea what the facial expression would be if you could see their face and start picking up on their little nuances and quirks.
My main thing is that I intend not to post anything that would hurt someone's feelings, even if I feel like I'm in the right.
I would rather be happy than right. I learned that in a TV show many years ago called Doogie Howser MD. Doogie and his best friend Vinnie were arguing about something, I think that it had to do with pizza. Anyway, Vinnie told Doogie that Doogie is probably right and to avoid hurt feelings he said that he would rather be happy than right.
I thought that was a wise thing to say. I'm not sure if that's biblical or not but that's how I roll 'em.
