Jesus indeed rose in the flesh, looking just like he did as a man. He still had the holes in His hands and side. That was for identification purposes. Everyone says that we will have glorified bodies, after our resurrection. I don't agree, we will be spirit. John said: John 4:24:
“God is spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and truth.” and in 1 John 3:2:
"Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is." Sounds like we will be spirits too.
Luke 21:25-27:
“And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. The sea and the waves roaring; and then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.” When Jesus comes back, His countenance will be like the sunrise: glorious!
Here is a little taste of what He will look like: Revelation 1:12-16:
“And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks; And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle. His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters. And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.” I rest my case.
