They can insult us and KJV1611 turns the other cheek and says nary a word. Its odd he has 1611 in his username and uses the 1769. :rolleyes:

So the only difference will be if it means His physical body or not.

Uhm, now I am confused again... you just said that God is not in our time, so these terms cannot be put in one point in time, but just "are".

Incidentally, I am of English descent with relatives who were actually clergy in the Anglican Church! And while I like the KJV I feel absolutely no "obligation" to use it.
I am no monarchist - my King, if you like is Jesus Christ, I recognise no other.
In any case an authorisation is nothing more than a recommendation, not a command...

I appreciate you reposting the truth I present concerning the corruption in modern bible versions.
I would think that some of you, claiming offense, would present evidence that corruption doesn’t exist as I testify does indeed exist in modern versions.
All I get is whiny responses as if folks ought to accept modern heathen scholarship with nary a complaint. And claims of being great wits in Greek and Hebrew, but not a shred of competence in plain English.

Who really accepts an argument such as, that Christians ought to think all scripture is ridden with error, so accept the modern bibles as the best scholars can produce.

And the other silly illogical reasoning all based on unbelief of scripture bring valid. Like; believe the oldest, the most modern, the easy to read, the not quite in line with suppositions of scholars about originals no one possesses.

You telling me you don’t see the convenience of such flimsy arguments for turning readers away from the Authorized.

I learned long ago that atheists and other unbelieving folk only attack the true and authorized written word of God. No one really cares about all the phony modern bibles.

Feigning love on a web site is easy. It fools some people.

There are a lot of comfort zones modern church folk seek and find as they stumble down the broad way through the wide gate to destruction. Modern bibles are comfy.
But truth is divisive, hard, sharp, pointed and brutally unavoidable.

And, that’s because you are free to go read corrupt bibles as pleases you. No excuse is required of you and none given you.

The Authorized Version is authorized by God in the scriptural manner God specifies in scripture. It is for the common man and is found in many languages.

But, corrupt bibles are numerous and for sale with helps everywhere. So, be happy reading them as long as you can. But, when you present quotes of them contrary to the truth in the Authorized they will be shown to be corrupt. There is no escaping correction, reproving and rebuke by the true scriptures of God.

God hasn’t forgotten the lost. The great tribulation is coming to spread the truth to the four corners of the earth, to all nations, then the end will come.

When folks wake up and find no oil in their lamps they won’t have time to go buy phony bibles to figure out where they went wrong.

Accuse as you must. You can’t escape the truth of God found written plainly for all to read in the Authorized Version.

KJV was not authorized by God, but by English king, only.
 
Let’s face facts shall we?
You lovers of modern bibles know very well they can’t stand up to scrutiny. It is obviated by your responses enmasse that you’ll discuss any thing other than scripture in plain English. And even pretending to be unlovingly offended doesn’t goad you all into taking a close look at all the specious arguments used by modern bible version readers to avoid accepting the truth of the authority and power God has instilled in the Authorized Version of the Holy Bible.

If you want the Holy Ghost to help you, you’re going to have to submit to the Authorized Version or you’ll find yourself treading water aimlessly till you sink.

But if you go away from trying to sell readers on reading modern versions, how is that a bad thing. I’m gladdened the fewer the readers of modern bibles there are.
The church can hardly put up with more false doctrines and shallow teaching.

You lovers of corruption aren’t fooling anyone.

Do unbelieving atheists ever quit talking about the God of the Authorized Version? No, they don’t and they can’t because of their doubts.

So it is with modern bible readers. Searching here and there fruitlessly.
