Oh they try very very hard to change it and kick it around...but it's a Cornerstone that will fall on them and grind them to powder.
Which cornerstone are you talking about; the thief who was crucified on the right side of Jesus did not even know what a sabbath looks like, but he was justified for his 5 minute faith and was deemed to have kept sabbath holy for all his life

yes- for Israel only. gentiles were never under the law.
God does not have two camps going....He is trying to bring in the sheep that have gone astray, not make another fold for them. God has only ever worked with ISRAEL and if you want to be part with Him you have to turn the Lord of the Sabbath who is the true Shepherd of our souls 1Pet 2v25.

The 4th commandment is a stumbling stone that will grind to dust those who honor it more than Christ.

Your right it's not me that judges It's God and His words.
.If you wish to be under the Covenant at Mount Sinai, then you are a child of Hagar.
.that is what the Bible says.

You can chose to reject and justify yourself, but it's your choice.
The NC is based on the 10 Commandments which are spiritual and eternal...nothing more to do with Hagar and the OC through Moses.
If you had not noticed GOD separated the 10 Commandments from the law of Moses Deut 5v22 and added no more...making a distinction between the comandments of ordinance/works and the holy spiritual laws (10) He would perpetuate for the good of mankind to educate us further in them=loving God and neighbour. No way can they be abolished UNTIL they have accomplished the purpose for which they were sent Isa 55v11.
The commands contained in ordinances HAVE BEEN fulfilled by Christ Eph 2v15; Col 2v14.and no longer apply...but the holy Commandments (10) are for our blessing and further education to fulfill what He has planned for man....don't trash them !!!

You are subtly trying to change what GOD has ordained..you ought to be ASHAMED !
No I am boldly proclaiming that if you follow the laws on Mount Sinai and NOT what Jesus taught on the Sermon OF the mount, you are a child of Hagar and not part of the Promised Seed.

You seek to enslave people to mount Sinai. You ought to repent and seek first the kingdom of heaven!

No sublety at all.

Accept the New Covenant and allow the Covenant at Mount Sinai to be nailed to the cross, or contnue being a child of Hagar and not the Promised Seed.

Trust God to provide for your food and clothes and SEEK FIRST THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN, or continue in disobedience and unbelief.

No you seek to,be under the Covenant on Mount Sinai and NOT the SPIRITUAL truths Jesus revaled on His sermon on the Mount about the SPIRITUAL TRUTHS and PURPOSES of the laws given at Mount Sinai.

What you have an issue with is that you refuse to accept Jesus spiritual truths but cling to the worldly outward observances.

Paul obviously disagrees with you. He called the 10 commandments the ministration of death and condemnation that was to be done away with.

But if the ministration of death written [and] engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance, which was to be done away: How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious? For if the ministration of condemnation [be] glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory. Jesus commandments:

Jesus is just preaching what He taught the people in the Law and Prophets. He is teaching what the Mainstream Preachers of His time had refused to preach because they, like you, had created their own religion with it's own religious traditions.

Your preaching that Jesus made up the New laws in Matt. 5 is Biblically incorrect, in that the Bible doesn't teach anywhere, at any time, that Jesus came to re-write the instructions given Him by His Father. That is the teaching of the Catholic church and her daughters, and by extension you. It is not a teaching from the Bible.

Consider the following you who are reading this.

1Seeing the crowds, he went up on the mountain, and when he sat down, his disciples came to him.

The Beatitudes

2And he opened his mouth and taught them, saying:
3“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Is. 66:1 Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?2 For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.

Ps. 69:32 The humble shall see this, and be glad: and your heart shall live that seek God.
33 For the LORD heareth the poor, and despiseth not his prisoners.

Not NEW Word's, not new laws as you preach, just Word's that the Mainstream Church of His time refused to acknowledge as Jesus clearly stated. "Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

4“Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.
Job. 5:10 Who giveth rain upon the earth, and sendeth waters upon the fields:
11 To set up on high those that be low; that those which mourn may be exalted to safety.

5“Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.
Ps. 37:11 But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

6“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.
Ps.119:40 Behold, I have longed after thy precepts: quicken me in thy righteousness.

Is. 51:1 Hearken to me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek the LORD: look unto the rock whence ye are hewn, and to the hole of the pit whence ye are digged.

7 Hearken unto me, ye that know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law; fear ye not the reproach of men, neither be ye afraid of their revilings.

7“Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy.

8“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.
2 Sam. 22:26 With the merciful thou wilt shew thyself merciful, and with the upright man thou wilt shew thyself upright.
27 With the pure thou wilt shew thyself pure; and with the froward thou wilt shew thyself unsavoury.
28 And the afflicted people thou wilt save: but thine eyes are upon the haughty, that thou mayest bring them down.
29 For thou art my lamp, O LORD: and the LORD will lighten my darkness.

9“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sonsa of God.
Job. 22:21 Acquaint now thyself with him, and be at peace: thereby good shall come unto thee.
22 Receive, I pray thee, the law from his mouth, and lay up his words in thine heart.

Ps. 34:13 Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.
14 Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.

Ps. 37:11 But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

10“Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

11“Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account. 12Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
Ps. 7:5 Let the enemy persecute my soul, and take it; yea, let him tread down my life upon the earth, and lay mine honour in the dust. Selah.

Ps. 10:2 The wicked in his pride doth persecute the poor: let them be taken in the devices that they have imagined.

Ps. 119:85 The proud have digged pits for me, which are not after thy law. (Perfect)
86 All thy commandments are faithful: they persecute me wrongfully; help thou me.

Everything Jesus said, everything He taught was already taught in His Word by Him. But the "priests" who were given the job of preaching His Word's to the people had corrupted them selves. So Jesus came, as did the Prophets before Him, in part to expose their teaching. NOT GOD's TEACHING AS YOU IMPLY.

Jesus is correcting them in Matt. 5 by reminding them of HIS WORDS already spoken to them through the Law and Prophets.

Then He made sure they understood:

17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
18
For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

Now the Pope and her daughters teach that Jesus fulfilled "ALL" on the Cross. And while He did fulfill much of what was written in the Law and Prophets about Him, He hasn't fulfilled it all. There is still His 2nd coming, the 1000 year reign which the Sabbath Foreshadows and the great throne judgment of which He is the Judge, and the 2nd death which has not taken place.

Nothing you say or preach can destroy or make void these Biblical facts.

So this means the Word's Jesus spoke in the Law and Prophets is still in force and affect. AS it is written "The Priesthood has changed" Jesus is now fulfilling the Spiritual duties of this Priesthood in heaven. But He did not come to destroy His Words as you preach. We are still to be admonished by them and they are still HIS Commandments, His Sayings and His Words. Not because I think so, or because the Pope says so. But because my Savior and Lord Jesus the Christ says so. It's in your Bible.

Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

The Pharisees were teaching Commandments not spoken by the Word made Flesh. You are doing the same thing. If Jesus were here as a man today, He would say;

You have heard it said by them of old time "My Sabbath Commandment and Words are no longer valid because they are part of the Old Covenant" but I say unto you "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

I would really like an answer to this question.
So why can't you keep the Sabbath holy as decreed so long ago....why can't you also 'seek the Kgd of God at the same time ? why must it be one or the other ?

what makes you think you must seek the Kgd FIRST before being obedient ? you indeed have it back to front !

You can't obey unless you first learn from God what His commandments are.
.You can't be both a child of Hagar and a child of the Promised Seed.....no matter how much you claim to be of Abraham

The condemnation was done away with. Not the requirement to "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, or "Love your neighbor as yourself" or the Holy Days starting with Passover.

It is a changed "ministry". changed Priesthood. No more Aaron and His Sons, not no more killing animals for remission of sins, no more death and blood for the remission of sins. That has all been "Done away with".

Our death has been done away with, not the definition of the sin that caused our death.

God's Word's and instructions have not been done away with, at least according to Jesus in Matt. 5 and the rest of the entire Bible.

My mind's wandering here...

SDA minister: "Why can't you keep the sabbath?"

Believer in Christ: "Because Christ doesn't tell me to."

SDA minister: "C'mon I need your tithes."

That's not what the text says. It says that which was engraven in stone was done away with, ie, the 10 commandments. The Greek word that is translated done away means to nullify the power of. Jesus nullified the power of the law to condemn us by making us dead to the law. Law exerts no authority over dead people.

The Messiah says different;

Mat 5:18, "I say to you; Unless heaven and earth passes away, one yodh; the smallest of the letters will in no way pass from the Law, until all things are perfected."

Revelation 21:1, "I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away."

and concerning your misunderstanding of Paul's writungs;

Romans 2:15, "Who show the work of the Torah written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and between themselves their thoughts accusing (condemming sin) or even excusing (justifying sin)."

Romans 8:5-8, "For those who live according to the flesh, set their minds on the things of the flesh; but those who live according to the Spirit, set their minds on the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against; (bitterly opposed to), YHWH; for it his not subject to the Law of YHWH, nor indeed can be. So then, those who are of the flesh cannot please YHWH."

I want to point out that the words that are in italics* are ADDED, thus changing the meaning of the passage:

Ephesians 2:15-16, (NKJV), "having abolished in His flesh the enmity, *that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity. "

Not only does the next verse tell us what was abolished, but when you remove the ADDED words italics the meaning changes.

Ephesians 2:15-16, "Abolishing the enmity Law, the Commandments, and the Ordinances, through His own flesh, in order to create in Himself one new man from the two; making peace, That would reconcile both in one body to YHWH through the sacrifice; having killed the enmity through Himself."

Strong's Concordance, “enmity” is word #G2189 echthra: enmity, hostility, Original Word: ἔχθρα, ας, ἡ, Part of Speech: Noun, Feminine, Transliteration: echthra, Phonetic Spelling: (ekh'-thrah), Short Definition: enmity, hostility, Definition: enmity, hostility, alienation.

Thayer's (New Testament Greek-English Lexicon) Feminine of G2190; hostility; by implication a reason for opposition:—enmity, hatred.

If we translate “enmity” as a reason for opposition as shown in the definition above, as enmity is not a commonly used or understood word in modern times and culture we get;

Ephesians 2:15-16, "Abolishing the reason for opposition Law, the Commandments, and the Ordinances, through His own flesh, in order to create in Himself one new man from the two; making peace, That would reconcile both in one body to YHWH through the sacrifice, having killed the enmity through Himself."

(note verse 16 says what was actually abolished)

Also it is worth noting, how could the Messiah have abolished the Law when He Himself said;

Matt 5:18, "For truly I say to you; Unless heaven and earth passes away, one yodh--the smallest of the letters will in no way pass from the Law, until all things are perfected."

Revelation 21:1-2, "And I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no more sea. And I, Yahchanan, saw the holy city, YHWH Shammah, coming down from YHWH out of heaven, prepared as brides adorned for their husbands. And I heard a great voice out of heaven, saying: Behold, the tabernacle of YHWH is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they will be His people, and YHWH Himself will be with them, and be their Father.

Also if the Law is to be written on the heart of the believer, how could they have enmity/reason for oppisition to it?

Jeremiah 31:33, "After those days, says YHWH: I will put My Law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; minds, and I will be their Father, and they will be My people."

It is impossible to have HIS LAW written on your heart if you are in opposition (enmity) to it, so the ENMITY was abolished in the hearts of those that follow Yahshua.

It does not say He killed the Law, it says He killed the enmity

Romans 7:12-14, “So that the Law truly is holy, and the command holy, and righteous, and good. Therefore, has that which is good become death to me? Let it not be! But the sin, that sin might be manifest, was working death in me through what is good, so that sin through the command might become an exceedingly great sinner. For we know that the Law is Spiritual, but I am fleshly, sold under sin."

I keep seeing SDA being thrown around....HOW many people actually are a part of the SDA?

One mentioned his wife attended but no one else has really fessed up.

Personally I attend a United Methodist church, but don't always agree with all the other members. However I agree with major principles like salvation is by faith alone, the priesthood of all believers, power should not rest in one person but shared with the whole church body, importance of small groups and individual bible study and moral accountability, importance of service, etc.

You don't have to answer, just curious.

I have attended a Messianic Jewish congregation and we get along fine. They don't seem to have any problems with what I am saying.

They tell me they want to honor their Jewish roots and culture and do it not in order to be saved but as a rememberance . they also don't condemn Sunday worship and some even attend church on Sunday also.

Why are people against the concept that Jesus tells us we should SEEK FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD and not worry about food or clothes any day but always trust God to provide?

For SDA's (and their many offshoots) Gregorian Saturday Worship...
...Is a matter of salvation, thus, of the utmost importance.
...If you don't conduct Saturday Worship - game over!

The SDA's have a prophet who was named "Ellen White"...
...Ellen allegedly traveled deep into outer space & communed.
...With extraterrestrials who confirmed "the Sabbath truth".

The Aliens gave Ellen their testimony about the Sabbath...
...& also said IF they broke the law of God they would also fall.
...Like the Earth fell [into sin].

The salient part of all this is that IT WAS POSSIBLE the aliens fell into sin....
...Subsequent to their visit with Ellen G. White - and IF that happened.
...It would explain the many U.F.O. sightings that have been reported.

An Alien race with technological understanding far exceeding those of earth...
...Would undoubtedly have the ability of space travel and if for nothing else.
...Would be interested in the natural resources of the earth.
...Such as minerals, water, etc.

I digress, in answer to the Sabbath question the velocity of the teaching...
...Comes by way of confirmation from E.T.'s through Ellen White.
