To understand where law keeping Christians are coming from, imagine your response if someone said to you that you do not have to keep the law 'do not murder' because if you did that would be you trying to be justified (made righteous) by the law.

However that NOT what the conversation about at all....its about the difference between the laws given in the old and new covenant.

Not really God's WORD says those who break God's LAW put themselves in condemnation. If you SIN against GOD (break his Commandments) then you are "UNDER THE LAW" because your guilty of breaking it. While I don't know for sure that SDAs are present in this thread, I've learned from past encounters that they tend to promote the fourth commandment to the exclusion of the rest of the Bible in their incessant debates-which often caused great distress for your or less informed Christians.

I think most who debate with them do so to help insure weaker brethren aren't stumbled or led astray by their false beliefs-which are best understood as springing from the original false prophecies of Jesus's second coming, which they never repented of, by the way. It is amazing how those that do not have God's WORD to supoport their traditions that break the commandments of God accuse those who have God's WORD of things that are not true.

The religious teachers in the days of Jesus said that he had a devil and his followers were a cult this was also independently verifiable in the days of Jesus and the Apostles. Just ask the Jews who hung Jesus on the cross.

This could be said of all those who followed Jesus throughout time even before Jesus the religious teachers of the day killed the prophets sent to them by God to share God's WORD (Luke 11:47; Matt 23:31)

Stephen was stoned to death it was independently verified that he was blaspheming because no one could argue with the scriptures that he was presenting.

Paul, Peter and most of the Apostles were also executed because it was independently verified by the religious teachers of the day that they could not respond to God's WORD they were sharing with them.

Not to mention all those of the reformation and the birth of Protestantism and the inquisition of the Roman Catholic Church which executed millions of God's people because it was independently verified by the Roman Catholic Church that they were all heretics and should be burned at the stake.

One person in this thread has already told me that we worship a different God than they do...,i am inclined to believe them.

It's evident that many prefer to be under the Covenant at Mount Sinai and NOT listen to Jesus spiritual truths.

I have no need to study SDA beliefs because I would rather study what Jesus taught via the Bible.

Trust in God's love and promise to provide.....if we but seek His kingdom...seek His will and not our own...,seek to speak His words and not our own.....seek His desires for our lives and not our own....ALL THE DAYS OF OUR LIVES.

Some even debate and say they are not priests of God at all..they are still waiting to be given ten cities to rule....reveals God's truth right there.... They freely admit that they are NOT God's priests....and they seek power.

I wonder if anyone else noticed?

Ariel, if you don't want to investigate Adventist beliefs then this thread needs to be closed, by you.
The several Adventists on this forum, who have already had a major impact on this thread are not going to stop peddling their lies and deceptions, and all this thread is doing is giving them a free platform....
This is especially the case, because you having no idea what they really believe are powerless to confront them.

They know everything that you believe and they also know all the weaknesses of your doctrines, where you not so well grounded. And they will exploit this knowledge - and not for your benefit either!
Make no mistake, the Adventists who frequent this site are not your friends, they have total disdain and contempt for any doctrinal or spiritual position that is not theirs.
In their eyes we are all apostate, condemned by God, and hell-bound.

So, my advice, from someone who is a brother in Christ, is to close this thread.

I am not the smartest or most learnt person in this forum.

However I know my Redeemer lives and he shows me His truth and their lies.

Jesus tells me to focus on His truth and preach His gospel and He will call His children out of their lies.
