Ladies: what "guy skills" make him more attractive to you?

WELL...where do I start?! Lol. I don't know that I look for certain "skills" when I am looking for guys I might be interested in. But guys being able to do certain things doesn't hurt.

For instance, cooking is great, because I'm not a fan of cooking, though I am hoping to begin embracing it and try new recipes soon. Now, I love a good steak, but I have never cooked anything on the grill outdoors. So a guy who could really marinate some beef or chicken and cook it to perfection on a grill - awesome!

Another thing would be killing snakes. I hate snakes, but I don't think I could bring myself close enough to kill one if I had to. They freak me out. Seriously. Lol. Lizards don't bother me, frogs don't bother me, but snakes...yeesh. I can handle bugs, and even spiders (though they freak me out, too). But not snakes.

I'm sure there are other things, but they aren't coming to mind at the moment. My brain is not cooperating. Little things are good too, not necessarily skills, but still would be nice. For instance, flushing the toilet. I'm not even asking for you guys to put the seat down! I'd just be happy to see a toilet flushed! The men in my family refuse to flush toilets, so they get disgusting. And who gets to clean them? That's right - ME. I can't wait until I can afford my own place, because living at home is driving me crazier by the day.
 
Im just saying if you were in the middle of New York City and those traits are what impressed you... thats what we call a terrorist :P

I was wondering how come the girls never ask the guys what they have to do to impress guys? There are like 3 topics asking girls what they want guys to act like or be like or whatever.

Everyone just assumes that a girl has to look pretty and automatically guys will like her. Yea right. How about girl skills that will impress guys eh. Any other dudes game to tackle this extremely controversial subject? ;)

Well....maybe you should start a new thread, and ask guys to chime in. Because, I'd like to know. I mean, I know I cannot get by on just my stunningly good looks and amazing sense of style. ;) (Just kidding!)

It may not qualify as a skill but knowing what it means to be offside in a game of football.....er.....wait.....soccer.....I meant soccer! :D

That would be both impressive and useful, useful because when I'm going crazy cos the other team scored an illegal goal she''ll understand and not think I'm crazy, which is is kind of how it goes at the moment! :p

cooking and cleaning and a home maker and willing to random go and do stuff and sports and being there for you... ummm.. being able to hold a good convon about politics and such.. haha

I, err, know what a soccer ball (or football ;) ) looks like. Does that count? :D

If I'm supposed to have a knowledge of sports...I'm in trouble. Lol.

on a more serious note, I'm attracted to guys that love some adventure and outdoors...I also appreciate if they can fix things themselves

Well I guess that makes a foundation so you can learn what you need to know. ;) It'd be nice if when I put the football/soccer on she wasn't settling in for 2 hours of boredom or leaving the house!

In return I'll do the cooking. :)
