The Knights Templar today is a Masonic body. Freemasons. The headquarters are in London. Claiming to be Christian but mixed in with some spiritually dangerous practices.
I don't support the Templar Knights of today nor any other organization ... The Avatar represents the Templar commitment in their beginning ... I full realize they became corrupt and taken over by evil much like many of our churches today, not teaching and practicing what they should ... If you believe that I stand for anything other than the true word of God, then you have been thrown off course ...

Good, glad to hear that.

At one time in history the Templar Knights were a dedicated Christian fighting force ... They were feared greatly and for good reason as they were well organized under the power of God ... When they took the oath to stand for Christianity they kept it solemnly and possessed no fear ... That is what the Avatar represents ...

Another way some here may have been thrown off course is through my stance on women preaching or women having authority over a man ... Some may see me as a male chauvinist, however I can no more be a male chauvinist than God because I read His words closely and do my best to follow them exactly as they are written ... I full realize women are every bit as valuable to God and society as are men ... I also realize that God gave men and women much different roles and he designed each in a manner best to carry out those duties ... I do not believe in feminism nor does God which is easily referenced in His word ... If I offend anyone by standing so closely with the word of God that is unfortunate but the word to me is something not on my list to be compromised ...

So, are you saying the Bible is wrong ? ... I just provided scripture ... I didn't give any opinion of my own in that post ...

1 Timothy 2:8-15 [SUP]8[/SUP]Therefore I want the men everywhere to pray, lifting up holy hands without anger or disputing. [SUP]9[/SUP]I also want the women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, adorning themselves, not with elaborate hairstyles or gold or pearls or expensive clothes, [SUP]10[/SUP]but with good deeds, appropriate for women who profess to worship God. [SUP]11[/SUP]A woman should learn in quietness and full submission. [SUP]12[/SUP]I do not permit a woman to teach or to assume authority over a man; she must be quiet. [SUP]13[/SUP]For Adam was formed first, then Eve. [SUP]14[/SUP]And Adam was not the one deceived; it was the woman who was deceived and became a sinner. [SUP]15[/SUP]But women will be saved through childbearing-if they continue in faith, love and holiness with propriety.
The Bible tells us that Adam sinned, so are you saying the Bible is wrong ? ... I just provided scripture ... I didn't give any opinion of my own in that post.

When Adam sinned, sin entered the world. Adam’s sin brought death, so death spread to everyone, for everyone sinned. 13Yes, people sinned even before the law was given. But it was not counted as sin because there was not yet any law to break. 14 Still, everyone died—from the time of Adam to the time of Moses—even those who did not disobey an explicit commandment of God, as Adam did. Now Adam is a symbol, a representation of Christ, who was yet to come. 15 But there is a great difference between Adam’s sin and God’s gracious gift. For the sin of this one man, Adam, brought death to many. But even greater is God’s wonderful grace and his gift of forgiveness to many through this other man, Jesus Christ. 16 And the result of God’s gracious gift is very different from the result of that one man’s sin. For Adam’s sin led to condemnation, but God’s free gift leads to our being made right with God, even though we are guilty of many sins. 17 For the sin of this one man, Adam, caused death to rule over many. But even greater is God’s wonderful grace and his gift of righteousness, for all who receive it will live in triumph over sin and death through this one man, Jesus Christ. 18 Yes, Adam’s one sin brings condemnation for everyone, but Christ’s one act of righteousness brings a right relationship with God and new life for everyone. 19 Because one person disobeyed God, many became sinners. But because one other person obeyed God, many will be made righteous. 20 God’s law was given so that all people could see how sinful they were. But as people sinned more and more, God’s wonderful grace became more abundant. Romans 5:12-21

I'm not "thrown off course"

Why do you have to make it sound as if others are at fault and you are the only keeper of sound doctrine?

I am certainly not a feminist. I do not identify in the slightest with the female-supremacists of our age and have actively opposed their message in public.

As far as I read the Bible it tells us everyone has sinned except for JESUS ... That is my stance ... Can you show me where I have ever disputed that ? ... Those words I gave you before were not my words, it was a verse ... I never stated Adam didn't sin ... Can you show me where I did ... Absolutely I am not saying the Bible is wrong ...

I don't make anybody sound as if they are at fault ... If they are at fault, then it is the Bible that places them at fault ... My words don't mean a thing, never claimed they have ... Everybody is at fault for something ...

That is good ... I am sure God has rewards waiting on you for being that way ...

At a certain point, you have to be left to your human understanding.

I mostly draw the line at things said that might really harm someone. You've run roughshod through these threads in the last week and mostly you appear like a little boy pretending he can read a book while holding it upside down and mimicking adults to pretend he can read.

But when you state that women are not included in the one mediator verse and that a man is their mediator between them and God, it loses the cuteness of a little boy pretending he can read and needs to be dealt with so you can't harm anyone who is guileless but not yet full grown.

You have proven, by your statements on the one mediator verse (there are many proofs, but we'll focus on that one for now), that you should remain silent and learn. But you appear to not want to learn anything beyond your human understanding. So the best we can do is wait until you are ready to learn and carefully watch you so you don't harm anyone, because you are extremely unteachable as it stands.

As a personal note to angela (who will understand what I am saying), your time and energy, poured out for us in this thread, is a prime example of practical theology. You have taken your learning and helped us with it. We are so grateful. When I think of how you will help others in this way as regards sanctification, and the passion He is giving you for it, I can barely contain my excitement.

You little lady are free to possess any opinion of me you wish no matter how wrong it is ... That certainly is one of your rights ... What you are referring to is when God told the wife to refer her questions unto her husband and to be silent in church ... That IS what the Bible states and at that point God is subjecting the woman unto mediation through her husband ... That is what I said and that is exactly what the Bible says ... Why is it when you want to argue something in the Bible you always decide to argue with me ... As I explained to you before, I did not write the Bible, I merely pass along what it says ... If you don't like what it says, your argument is with God, not with me ...

You speak very nasty unto a man over the web and demonstrate great arrogance in demanding a man to remain silent ... A direct violation of God's law ? ... You go right ahead and spew all your insults and anger forth upon the page ... I won't play your little game of insults ... I will just inform you that you are very wrong and disobedient unto the God you claim to worship ...

The reason it is with you that I argue is because it is you who are making the outrageous claims (such as women are not included in the one mediator verse.) It is true that you first picked it up from deade and then ran unwisely in the same vein, but deade has the wisdom to listen and think and reconsider a rash statement, while you do not.

And I'm not angry - not in the least.

Little lady? Wow, you certainly told her off with that one.. LOL

JESUS is our mediator. NOT man, and certainly not husbands..

Ladies ladies...preach it lol
Its crazy that threads like this explode every time even though it is clear that God makes no difference between woman and man when it comes to spiritual purpose (see romans)
Just in the past woman were told to be silent because men were on one side, woman on the other and everytime a woman had a question she had to hollar across the service room. THAT is why they were told to stay silent. Otherwise chaos was released in people shouting questions and men shouting back and the preachee being disturbed.

I've been up since 4 am, and now it's only 6:13 am.. lol

And that's MISS little lady to you.. View attachment 179949
I've been up since 4 also. Seems no matter what time I go to sleep, 4 is when I awake. I've been restless lately on top of it. Not sure if its because something is on the way to me or not...but my restlessness often works that way.

Miss, huh? What did you miss? :D
