make up your own way?

Numbers 15:15-16, “One law is for you of the assembly and for the stranger who sojourns with you – a law forever throughout your generations. As you are, so is the stranger before יהוה. One Torah and one right-ruling is for you and for the stranger who sojourns with you.”

Psalms 105:6-10, “O seed of Aḇraham His servant, Children of Ya‛aqoḇ, His chosen ones! He is יהוה our Strength; His right-rulings are in all the earth. He has remembered His covenant forever, The Word He commanded, for a thousand generations, The covenant He made with Aḇraham, And His oath to Yitsḥaq, And established it to Ya‛aqoḇ for a law, To Yisra’yl – an everlasting covenant.

Psalms 105:6-10, “O seed of Aḇraham His servant, Children of Ya‛aqoḇ, His chosen ones! He is יהוה our Strength; His right-rulings are in all the earth.

The Word He commanded, for a thousand generations,

STAND FAST WITH WHO?...

Galatians 3:27-29, “For as many of you as were immersed into Messiah have put on Messiah. There is not Yehuḏi nor Greek, there is not slave nor free, there is not male and female, for you are all one in Messiah יהושע. And if you are of Messiah, then you are seed of Aḇraham, and heirs according to promise.”

Psalm 89:26-37, “He will call out to Me; ‘You are My Father, O YHWH! You are the Rock of My salvation!’ And I will make Him My firstborn, higher than the kings of the earth. My mercy I will keep for Him forever and My covenant will stand fast withHim. And I will establish His Seed forever, and His throne will be as the days of heaven. Should His children forsake My Law, and refuse to walk in My judgments; Should they profane My statutes, and fail to keep My commandments; Then I will punish their transgression with the rod, and their iniquity with lashes from the whip. Nevertheless, My lovingkindness I will not utterly withdraw from Him, nor will I ever betray My faithfulness. My covenant I will not break, nor will I change what has gone out of My lips. Once for all, I have vowed by My holiness, I cannot lie, and I say to David; His Seed will endure forever, and His throne will endure before Me like the sun. His throne will be established forever like the moon: the faithful witness in the sky.”
You can quote Scripture all you like to back your position but the problem remains that other Scripture contradicts you.

Try:
Romans 7:1-6;
Gal 3:1-29; and
2 Corinthians 3:7-11.

New covenant believers, of which I am one, cannot be simultaneously part of the Sinaitic covenant!

The reason not to observe the Sabbath is very simple, it is part of a covenant that is no longer in operation!
Hebrews 4:1-11 makes it abundantly clear why worship of God on any and every day is appropriate!

Those that conflict with New Testament law.
Jesus kept the Sabbath and Paul kept the Sabbath and James tells us to keep the whole law.
Act_13:42 And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next sabbath.
Act_13:44 And the next sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God.
Act_17:2 And Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, and three sabbath days reasoned with them out of the scriptures,
Act_18:4 And he reasoned in the synagogue every sabbath, and persuaded the Jews and the Greeks.

The evidence is there if you want to find it. but it seems that most of you want to not see.
I need to have lunch bye....

Try:
Romans 7:1-6;
Gal 3:1-29; and
2 Corinthians 3:7-11.

New covenant believers, of which I am one, cannot be simultaneously part of the Sinaitic covenant!
New Priesthood, same Law.

CHADASH, NEOS, KAINOS, METATHESIS, METATHEMAI... I ahve sought YAH truth diligently, He has shown me. I do not submit to tradition, I seek to follow YHWH.

say Paul is the Law death or not?

Romans 7:12-14, “So that the Law truly is holy, and the command holy, and righteous, and good. Therefore, has that which is good become death to me? Let it not be! But the sin, that sin might be manifest, was working death in me through what is good, so that sin through the command might become an exceedingly great sinner. For we know that the Law is Spiritual, but I am fleshly, sold under sin."

2 Corinthians 3:7-8, “But if the administering of death in letters, engraved on stones, was esteemed, so that the children of Yisra’yl were unable to look steadily at the face of Mosheh because of the esteem of his face, which was passing away, how much more esteemed shall the administering of the Spirit not be?”

So that the Law truly is holy, and the command holy, and righteous, and good. Therefore, has that which is good become death to me? Let it not be!

But if the administering of death in letters, engraved on stones

seems he can';t make his mind up, wele at least he knows who we should follow?

1 Corinthians 4:15-16, “You may have 10,000 mentors who work for the Messiah, but not many fathers (G3962 patér). For in the Messiah Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel. So I urge you to imitate me.”

Matthew 23:9, “And call no man your father (G3962 patér) on earth, for you have one Father, who is in heaven.”

begotten” is word #G1080 gennaó: to beget, to bring forth, Original Word: γεννάω, Part of Speech: Verb, Transliteration: gennaó, Phonetic Spelling: (ghen-nah'-o), Short Definition: I beget, bring forth, give birth to, Definition: I beget (of the male), (of the female) I bring forth, give birth to.

John 13:15, “For I (Jesus) gave you an example, that you should do as I have done to you.”

Philippians 3:17-18, “Join together in imitating me, brothers, and pay close attention to those who live by the example we have given you. For I have often told you, and now tell you even with tears, that many live as enemies of the cross of Christ.”

1 Peter 2:21, “This is, in fact, what you were called to do, because Christ also suffered for you and left an example for you to follow in His steps.”

1 John 1:26, “The one who says that he abides in him must live the same way he (Jesus) himself lived.”

2 Timothy 1:13-15, "Follow the pattern of the sound words that you have heard from me, in the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus. By the Holy Spirit who dwells within us, guard the good deposit entrusted to you. You are aware that all who are in Asia turned away from me, among whom are Phygelus and Hermogenes.”

John 12:48, “He who rejects Me, and does not follow My words has One Who judges him. The word that I have spoken, the same will be used to judge him in the last day.”

If James is referring to the Torah then you are in a spot of bother.....done any sin offerings lately with lambs and doves etc...
Either he is referring to the Torah (all of it) or he is referring to something else entirely...
He cannot be referring to some bastard truncated set of laws that Adventists believe is the case because no Biblical writer had any concept of a chopped up Torah - they only knew of the Torah as a unit!

graceNpeace do you beleive the Messiah?

Mat 5:18, "I say to you; Unless heaven and earth passes away, one yodh; the smallest of the letters will in no way pass from the Law, until all things are perfected."

Revelation 21:1, "I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away."

do you believe He is now High Priest:

Hebrews 7:11-12, "Now if perfection had been attainable through the Levitical priesthood (for under it the people received the law), what further need would there have been for another priest to arise after the order of Melchizedek, rather than one named after the order of Aaron? For the priesthood being changed (#G3331), there is made of necessity a change (#G3346) also of the law."

“changed” is word #G3331 μετάθεσις metathesis (me-ta'-the-sis) n., transposition, i.e. transferral (to heaven), disestablishment (of a law). [from G3346], KJV: change, removing, translation, Root(s): G3346

#G3331 μετάθεσις metathesis; 1) transfer: from one place to another 2) to change 2a) of things instituted or established

As in the priesthood on earth, the Levite priesthood has been abolished, and the Priesthood in the heavens, carried out by Yahshua is established. This “change” or “metathesis” is a removal of one that is replaced by another.

Thayer's (New Testament Greek-English Lexicon)
From G3346; transposition, that is, transferral (to heaven), disestablishment (of a law):—change, removing, translation.

(reflexively) to change sides. [from G3326 and G5087], KJV: carry over, change, remove, translate, turn, Root(s): G3326, G5087

Thayer's (New Testament Greek-English Lexicon)
#G3346 μετατίθημι metatithemi; From G3326 and G5087; to transfer, that is, (literally) transport, (by implication) exchange, (reflexively) change sides, or (figuratively) pervert:—carry over, change, remove, translate, turn.

As in the Law has been transferred, not mediated by Levites but mediated by Yahshua the High Priest. This “change” or “metatithemi” is a transferral.

Do you beliive this:

Revelation 22:11-15, “He who does wrong, let him do more wrong; he who is filthy, let him be more filthy; he who is righteous, let him be more righteous; he who is set-apart, let him be more set-apart. And see, I am coming speedily, and My reward is with Me, to give to each according to his work. “I am the ‘Aleph’ and the ‘Taw’, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last. Blessed are those doing His commands, so that the authority shall be theirs unto the tree of life, and to enter through the gates into the city. But outside are the dogs and those who enchant with drugs, and those who whore, and the murderers, and the idolaters, and all who love and do falsehood.”

Again, one needs to look at all Scripture!
I can interpret one part of the Bible in the light of another - all I see you do is proof-text to try to prove your point!
Hermeneutics and exegesis means understanding the the passages I posted as well as the one's you post.

The bottom line is that the Sinaitic covenant is not binding on New covenant believers.
The whole Epistle to the Galatians was written to refute the claims of the Judaizers, who were claiming, as you do, that the Torah made claims on New covenant believers, Jew and Gentile alike.
The Council of Jerusalem recorded in Acts 15 deals with exactly the same issue.
At no time does Paul, or Peter (in summing up the Council's decisions) confirm that the Torah is still binding on New covenant believers. Rather, the exact opposite is explicitly outlined....

In your world this can be ignored, obviously...
Clearly Matthew 5:18 must be fulfilled even though you claim it not to be!

Also, Hebrews 7:11-12 rather proves my point....thanks for that
Goodbye, Sinaitic covenant (and the Torah, and the Levitical priesthood), Hello New covenant (and a NEW law), and a NEW High Priest - Jesus Christ!
Yes!!!!

Acts 15:19-21,29 “19 Therefore I judge that we should not trouble those from among the Gentiles (new converts) who are turning to YHWH, 20, but that we write to them to abstain from the defilements of idols, and from whoring, and from what is strangled, and from blood. 21, For from ancient generations Mosheh has, in every city, those proclaiming him – being read in the congregations every Sabbath. 29, that you abstain from what is offered to idols, and blood, and what is strangled, and whoring. If you keep yourselves from these, you shall do well. Be strong!”

Gentiles turning to Yah on't know everything and can not be exp[ected to learn in an instant.. That is why they saiud : "Mosheh has, in every city, those proclaiming him – being read in the congregations every Sabbath"

Luke 16:16-17, "The Law and the Prophets were until John, since that time the Kingdom of YHWH is preached, and every man is pressed to enter it. But it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one yodh of the Law to fail."

Daniyl 7:25, "And he will speak great words against YHWH, and will wear out; mentally attack to cause to fall away, the saints of YHWH, and think to change times and Laws…"

new Priest same Law.

Acts 15:19-21, 29 - hardly an instruction to follow the Torah now is it!

Luke 16:16-17 - Sinaitic covenant still in effect at the time...

Daniel 7:25 - spoken at a time when the Sinaitic covenant is in effect, and a warning to its covenant partners (Israelites) not to fiddle with the covenant. Sound advice in general, but not applicable to a New covenant believer with respect to the Sinaitic covenant, when the High Priest of the New covenant has already done way with the Sinaitic covenant...

All the Commands from Acts 15 are in the Instructions.

Pre or post Levite priesthood, the Law remains;

yes you have to keep sabbath.

sabbath is rest

jesus say: come to me ye who labour and heavy laden, I will give you rest/sabbath

So sabbath = come to jesus

yes we have to keep sabbath or keep come to Jesus. This is the real sabbath that we have to keep

i agree with you on keep sabbath, but I agree with Jesus, by coming to Jesus you keep the real sabbath.

Ellen G White not in agreement with Jesus.

The wicked will never enter God's Sabbath rest. (A Hebrewism for heaven.)
So in my anger I swore a solemn oath that they would never enter my rest." (Heb 3:11 ISV)

And to whom did he swear that they would never enter his rest? It was to those who disobeyed him, was it not? (Heb 3:18 ISV)

Therefore, as long as the promise of entering his rest remains valid, let us be afraid! Otherwise, some of you will fail to reach it, (Heb 4:1 ISV)

We who have believed are entering that rest, just as he has said, "So in my anger I swore a solemn oath that they would never enter my rest," even though his actions had been finished since the creation of the world. Somewhere he has spoken about the seventh day as follows: "On the seventh day God rested from all his actions," and again in this passage, "They will never enter my rest." Therefore, since it is still true that some will enter it, and since those who once heard the good news failed to enter it because of their disobedience, he again fixes a definite day—"Today"—saying long afterward through David, as already quoted, "Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts." (Heb 4:3-7 ISV)

For God's people there remains a Sabbath rest-Heaven.
There remains, therefore, a Sabbath rest for the people of God, because the one who enters God's rest has himself rested from his own actions, just as God did from his. Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one may fail by following their example of disobedience. (Heb 4:9-11 ISV)

For me personally the seventh day is the day I enter HIS heavenly rest. In the meantime I rest in Him 24/7.

yes you have to keep sabbath.

sabbath is rest

jesus say: come to me ye who labour and heavy laden, I will give you rest/sabbath

I came to Jesus when I was about seven years of age and have been resting in Him ever since. God bless.

All the Commands from Acts 15 are in the Instructions.

Pre or post Levite priesthood, the Law remains;
........
Come come now......
Those few instructions that Peter mentions cannot be an instruction to follow the TORAH in its entirety......
Please!

If the Jerusalem Council was to decide whether New covenant believers were obliged to keep the Torah in its entirety, which it was, (in other words Gentile believers would need to be circumcised as merely a first step), the handful of instructions (and they are a handful) cannot be interpreted as code for, "the entire Torah is still binding", when the Torah is 600 (and counting) laws, commandments, and ordinances!
That is simply ludicrous!
Context tells us that from the ENTIRE TORAH, these few instructions are left.
That is not the Torah (as given to Moses on Mount Sinai)!
Acts 15:28 "28 For it seemed good to the Holy Spirit, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things: "
One has to be pretty desperate to get THE TORAH from that!

Paul writing in the epistle to the Galatians is even more explicit, and less diplomatic about it....
Perhaps you should read it sometime....

However, I can see that nothing I say will deflect you from your unfortunate deception....

Matthew 5:17-19, “Do not think that I came to destroy the Torah or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. For truly, I say to you, till the heaven and the earth pass away, one yod or one tittle shall by no means pass from the Torah till all be done. Whoever, then, breaks one of the least of these commands, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the reign of the heavens; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the reign of the heavens.”

heaven and earth has not passed and all is not fulfilled/done:

There are 2 "it is done" statements...

Fulfilled already
John 19:30, “So when
יהושע took the sour wine He said, “It is done!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.”

Fulfilled already- To be fulfilled in the future

1. Passover/First-fruits – Yahshua's Sacrifice(Passover), burial and resurrection (First Fruits – presenting Himself to YHWH)
2. Feast of Unleavened Bread – Removal of sin by Yahshua's perfect work as the Passover Sacrifice
3. Feast of Weeks – The blessing Holy Spirit of YHWH, coming into our lives stronger than ever

4. Feast of Trumpets – Yahshua's return and gathering of the Saints
5. Day of Atonement – Yahshua leads the army of YHWH to destroy evil rulers of this world and satan is chained for 1,000 years
6. Feast of Tabernacles – Yahshua dwells on earth for 1,000 years teaching truth and righteousness
7. The Last Great Day – satan is loosed and swiftly destroyed, the Kingdom of YHWH reigns forever

To be fulfilled in the future
Revelation 21:4-8, “And Yah shall wipe away every tear from their eyes, and there shall be no more death, nor mourning, nor crying. And there shall be no more pain, for the former matters have passed away. And He who was sitting on the throne said, “See, I make all matters new.” And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and trustworthy. And He said to me, “It is done! I am the ‘Aleph’ and the ‘Taw’, the Beginning and the End. To the one who thirsts I shall give of the fountain of the water of life without payment. The one who overcomes shall inherit all this, and I shall be his Strength and he shall be My son. But as for the cowardly, and untrustworthy, and abominable, and murderers, and those who whore, and drug sorcerers, and idolaters, and all the false, their part is in the lake which burns with fire and sulphur, which is the second death.”

Mat 11:27-30, "All things have been delivered to Me by My Father. And no one fully knows the Son except the Father, neither does anyone fully know the Father, except the Son and those whom YHWH wills the Son to reveal. Come to Me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, and learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light"

TH\he rest Yahshua/Jesus offers is in the Kingdom of YHWH;

Revelation 14:13, "And I heard a voice from heaven saying to me: Write: Blessed are the dead, the ones dying in the Messiah from now on! Yes, says the Spirit: because they will rest from their labors, and their works do follow them!"

Jeremiah 6:16-17, “Thus said יהוה, “Stand in the ways and see, and ask for the old paths, where the good way is, and walk in it; and find rest for yourselves.” But they said, ‘We do not walk in it.’ “And I raised up watchmen over you, and said, ‘Listen to a voice of the trumpet!’ But they said, ‘We do not listen.’
RED: Very true.
