How can one write so many words, to say nothing at all?
Spindoctoring. In short, she's saying if you don’t agree with her “proven” method of teaching, you are clueless and she feels sorry for you. :p

She’s teaching extremely young elementary-level kids who would get excited over anything you tell them so long as you say it with animated enthusiasm and let them color with (or chew on) crayons while you’re lecturing them.

The fact is, all the phrases she’s soporifically repeating (inclusive, social justice initiatives, diversity, globalising world, intercultural understanding, collaborative approach, supported journey of self-discovery, student awareness, whole school curriculum, etc.) seems to be right out of “The Safe Schools Coalition Australia” <<< (just google that) which is an introductory guide to supporting gender diversity, intersex and sexual diversity in schools. Its objective: Promotes “the need for more inclusive practices and practical information about how to create change.”

Her sales pitch initially sounds like a terrific advertising campaign for near-perfect education (major contrast… incredibly worth it… successful results… ideal… proven method… offers the best possible outcome for all citizens…). Upon closer inspection, it’s new age brainwashing. It’s the world’s attempt at hypnotizing our young people so they’ll become middle-of-the-road adults who won’t rock the boat or think for themselves. The world (including Australia) would like to do away with the adventurous, free-thinkers and instead create mechanical minions who hop as high as the liberal agenda tells them to.

I don’t think laura_charlotte realizes she’s being indoctrinated into it herself. But that curriculum she insists is superior has many parents in Australia complaining that it’s ''decidedly unnatural” and were in an uproar that schools are teaching their children the sexual practices of gays, lesbians and transgender individuals.

I think you guys should ask Laura yourselves since she is a teacher and she is a Christian who is actually in the situation. Especially since she is on her own here in this thread talking about her love of teaching. Instead of attacking her intentions in this matter why not ask her about these concerns??.

It's clear LauraCharlotte is a good teacher who cares about her students. I see no one speaking specifically to Laura but do see plenty of people posting AT her and ABOUT her.

No matter what our countries differences., we are believers and have a unique opportunity to learn what actually IS going on in these schools from a teacher who is there. At the rate you guys are going., you've totally shut the door on any kind of meeting of the minds for understanding.

I simply don't get how some Christians are so ready and willing to post insulting cutting words about people who are different here on cc.

One of the things I TRY, but don't always succeed at, is to mind my own business when OTHER members talk past each other to make a point, or have a beef with. Sometimes this is done to avoid conflict or an escalation of a situation, while simultaneously making your point.

But what I find incredibly hypocritical of you is that is YOUR exact MO in every one of your "if you are not healed it's because you don't have enough faith" threads. Instead of engaging the large amount of posters that disagree with your doctrine, you either post right past them, or "bump for clarification". Classic passive aggression.

Almost daring them to knock the enormous chip off your shoulder while at the same time poking people in the eye knowing that your posts are going to cause division and strife.

Who exactly made you the arbiter of how people are suppose to engage others? YOU don't have all the information others have.

Since you feel called to advise others, let me advise you. Please talk about the Gospel MUCH more and NOT the prosperity gospel that you are almost completely fixated on. THAT is your calling, and you use to do it very well!

THIS is a concise and accurate assessment of what is going on here, and exactly as I see it.

I have attempted to communicate with laura_charlotte on the forums and thru private messaging for nearly two years and she does not respond to me at all. I have sent her a friend request several times and still no response. I can only assume other people are experiencing the same thing with her and therefore have no other choice but to comment AT or ABOUT her posts.

I have no criticism of laura_charlotte’s teaching skills per se ~ I am taking issue with what she is trying to sell Americans regarding Australia’s “safe school” curriculum. They are absolutely teaching sexual diversity, the liberal LGBT agenda.

Safe Schools

Do the research, joaniemarie. And since you are in communication with laura_charlotte, ask her yourself about the “safe school” agenda. And while you’re at it, ask her how as a Christian she can support the many posts on polygamy throughout this site.

And btw joaniemarie, I'm interested in how you would reword this statement in simpler language.

Spot on Joanie. Where there's an absence of awareness and education on the adults behalf in general, disciplines and in respect to what the system involves, it places you in a position to feel compassion for any defensiveness shown.

Well PennEd., First let me say this again to you and anyone else who reads this., I never said people are not healed because they don't have enough faith. Nope.., never said it and I keep "clarifying" it over and over but to no avail. You hear what you want to hear and you listen to others who agree with you. Ignorance is bliss for you guys.

You have not read my posts PennEd. You read into my posts. I engage all the time and only by pass people when they insult and misrepresent me personally coming up with all kinds of suppositions along with personal suspicions and guesses and conspiracy theories :) . Because I don't believe the same as they do... it must mean I'm not a Christian, or I'm a wolf., a heretic .,or evil., or passive aggressive.. or prosperity gospel person., (as if anyone on this site knows me personally) They can't even read my posts and get that straight you want to try to judge who I am outside of this site. LOL

I have more understanding and sympathy and empathy to post about Laura being attacked here than most since I deal with it all the time simply for disagreeing with the majority on the matter of healing in the atonement. Someone disagrees with you guys and you as adults run around and have temper tantrums and hissyfits. Grow up and realize the whole world doesn't dance to your tune.

Jesus loved everyone and showed love to everyone regardless of their doctrinal stands on politics., liberal or republican or democrat., pro-gun or anti-gun, healing in the atonement or not., Grace or Law., woman preachers or not... Jesus loves everyone and died for us to prove it.

If you don't like my posts I say to you and others....don't read them PennEd. If your sensibilities are that 'tender' and that 'delicate' that you can't handle it when another Christian sister even this young lady Laura Charlotte who is a teacher in England who loves her students but disagrees with you... or me who is a county woman out in the sticks of NY state.....who disagrees with you...

than something is wrong with you PennEd and other grown up Christians like you. Grown ups learn to deal with other people in their lives and in the world they live in. Not everyone will agree with us on all aspects of life even when we have learned differently about major topics that impact our very daily lives. It's true...not everyone is going to agree with us... really.., seriously... it's a fact of life... not all will agree ... truly. it's a fact in the adult responsibility world unless we are immature self important spoiled brats who no one ever dared disagree with before.

But sad to say many here are big old babies who must demean and 'shut down' anyone who doesn't make them feel good by agreeing with them.

Reminds me of the kids on America's liberal colleges who need their "safe spaces" with stuffed animals and hot chocolate and some comfort pets. I say to you and to others who can't stand to hear other people's opinions... Grow up.

As John 14 says I will not talk with you much more, for the prince (evil ruler) of the world is coming. He has no claim on Me. He has nothing in common with Me, there is nothing in Me that belongs to him and he has no power over Me.

Don’t give the devil an opening in your life by understanding how important it is not to speak rashly out of emotions. Jesus told His disciples He would be leaving the world soon. The suffering He was about to endure was unimaginable, but Jesus was determined not to speak words that would give satan an opportunity to hinder the plan of God. Nothing takes more self control than not speaking negatively in a negative situation. The mouth wants to spurt out everything it thinks and feels. In times like that, we’re called to go deeper, thinking and speaking out of a renewed spirit.

Teaching mindfulness and improving wellbeing increases a child’s learning capabilities, and so, our school developed a ‘Mindful Me' program. This focuses on the students ability to manage their emotions. As opposed to the aforementioned outcome in schools, one of the best activities we did was creating glitter jars to calm their busy active minds, a successful initiative.

we, hub and myself, commend you PennEd,

for your Spiritual discernment, your acts of real charity, your wisdom, and also, very much for

of course many can discern who people 'really' are, 'For out of the mouth proceeds the abundance of the heart'...

oh yeah, those 'jars' are really 'inspiring'!?!?

recently on some internet videos, we've seen children jumping-up-and-down-at some
so called 'Christian concerts', they look to us like they are in a trance and are actually
acting like the 'African, pagan, nations - very disturbing in a way, but looking way-back',
we can see our own actions leading up to this, before our 'Conversion'...

the popular 'music' is so very pagan and demonic, that it is beyond belief for those of
us who can see behind the lines of deception, not to mention 'using Jesus, instead of
obeying and embracing Him - where do you all think this is going,
the capitulating, the participating in this 'fallen-worlds' ways for those who call
themselves christians?!?!?!

Ya know, maybe the OP IS right! It IS wonderful seeing our youth stand up to what's right!

This is happening TODAY.

Students in Colorado who support the Second Amendment staged their own walkout Wednesday, in an effort to counter the pro-gun control rallies taking place across the nation following the deadly shooting at a Florida high school in February.
Students at Woodland Park High School, an hour north of Pike’s Peak, began the 30-minute pro-Second Amendment rally with a moment of silence for victims of past school shootings.
“I don’t believe that guns are the problem,” said student Haley Armstead. “I think it's more of the people and that people are trying to blame an inanimate object for something that's not them.”
Another student, Christian Garcia, told FOX 21 more armed officers and trained teachers would “stop” or “prevent” further school shootings.
HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS PLAN PRO-LIFE WALKOUT AFTER GUN DEBATE
While student-organized and with no affiliation to the high school, the school district did allow the students to walk out and provided increased security through the police department.
The rally comes days after students in Central Florida organized a similar protest in support of the Second Amendment after they felt silenced when the movement to honor the Parkland shooting victims turned political.

“I’m pro-Second Amendment,” Rockledge High School junior and protest organizer Anna Delaney told WFTV. "I wouldn’t mind deeper background checks, of course, but the Second Amendment will not be infringed upon.”
PARKLAND SURVIVOR KYLE KUSHAV ON MEETING TRUMP, HIS APP TO PREVENT ANOTHER SCHOOL SHOOTING
Students walked onto the school’s track carrying the American flag and holding signs that read “guns don’t kill people, people kill people” and “I support the right to bear arms.”
Another student said he participated to show that not all students are for gun control.
“It’s all over the news right now that all students hate guns,” Zachary Schneider said. “I wanted to show that not all students feel that way.”
Nikolas Cruz opened fire at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Fla., on February 14, killing 17 and injuring another 17 people. Last month he was indicted on more than a dozen counts of murder.
In the weeks following the shooting, students across the country held a National Walkout Day, pushing for stricter gun laws.
Nearly two weeks ago, thousands of people across the country held the “March for Our Lives” rally sponsored by the survivors of the Parkland school shooting.

If you go an hour north of Pikes Peak you are in Denver unless the author was giving the time to hike it. Woodland Park sits immediately north west of Pikes Peak.

There have been a handful of pro second amendment walkouts recently but of course the national media just about ignores them because it doesn't fit their talking points.
