How is it possible to "steal ones spiritual gifts"???

By selling you a loaf of bread and a jar of peanut butter??
Remember Esau and Jacob? I am ashamed for the Church of God, in their lack of Biblical understanding.

Stealing is what the theif does. One way is by causing you to believe their lies. If my understanding is correct.

I would have thought that my tag name might be a clue. "And to you who are troubled, rest with us...". Many Christians are fighting a spiritual war to keep their faith and others are completely oblivious to their plight. Pray always that ye enter not into temptation. :)

'the gift of God is irrevocable' according to Romans 11:29 But you seem to be saying that a store that sells lettuce and bags of potato chips can take it from you.

That is troubling.

Jacob did not steal. Don't you remember how his mother received prophecy from God that his was the birthright, before they were even born? And the older served the younger, just as it had been told.

And didn't he give away his birthright over a bowl of lentil stew?

Perhaps this is why veggies are at the center of the controversy going on in this discussion...

I couldn't agree more.

Brussel sprouts are an outright scourge of one's taste buds, I'm telling you.

Actually, he sold it to his brother. I have to shop for food at individually owned grocery stores so that I can confirm that they aren't secretly charging any hidden fees for their food.

I am glad you all aren't being troubled in this way, but others are. I know, because I'm one of them.
The large grocers around here all place "messages" in their sales ads to cause doubt in my mind as to what's being charged. They also play ads and songs while I'm in the store to wound my conscience.

They are also watching us through the cable boxes. As well as the smoke detectors and even some screw heads have cameras in them.

If you want to avoid getting into the same trouble, obey God. After the devil's group lead you into sin, then they try to take you into bondage. Sin is the equivalent of mocking God. Galatians 6:7-8. Don't take my word for it, study the word for yourself.

If Esau sold it to his brother, then Jacob still didn’t steal it.

Whether or not he did, he did deceive his father.

the Bible strangely doesn't record the events here as though Jacob and his mother were in the wrong. It says Esau despised his birthright, not that Jacob connived it out of him, and it was foretold that the blessing would be on Jacob, contrary to the order of birth. One might ask given that information, what was Isaac thinking??

You are right, but not knowing all the ways that we are made merchandise of, leaves me concerned that I might unwittingly sell them, or lose them to these evil workers that God told us to be ware of. Remember that when Christ came in to the wedding and he found some one not having on a wedding garment? I don't want to be that person. :)

where did these people get wedding garments? Luke 14:21 says it is the poor, the lame & crippled who were invited, because the wealthy and important people -- who could afford to possess wedding garments of their own -- all made excuses.

do you think this man in Matthew 22 who was found to be without the proper garment had one, but lost it because he bought a can of peas at the 'wrong' grocery store?

what God has given, no one can take. no one can rob a house unless they bind up the strong man that lives there -- who binds God's hands?? someone setting the price for spaghetti sauce takes away spiritual blessings??

These evil workers, who are Giants in the earth, are trying to take all of our spiritual gifts. A picture is worth a thousand words. Perhaps a study of the man who was robbed and left for dead would be a very good place to find some answers to all of our questions. The story of the good Samaritan. In case I wasn't clear enough.

Let us all know what you find.

The parable of the Good Samaritan is when Jesus answered the question, “who is my neighbor?”

You might want to dig a little deeper. For instance, what does the road to Jericho represent....I wish you good understanding. Peace!

Seriously, you do know the whole field of science, falsely so called, is a scam to hide the evil deeds of evil workers don't you? What's the matter, affraid someone might learn something? I think so. Good day.
