Can you give me the scripture where Paul commanded against it ? And I will research it further for you.
Circumcision commanded of all Abraham's natural seed

And he that is eight days old shall be circumcised among you, every man child in your generations, he that is born in the house, or bought with money of any stranger, which [is] not of thy seed. He that is born in thy house, and he that is bought with thy money, must needs be circumcised: and my covenant shall be in your flesh for an everlasting covenant. And the uncircumcised man child whose flesh of his foreskin is not circumcised, that soul shall be cut off from his people; he hath broken my covenant. Genesis 17:12-14

Circumcision commanded in the law of Moses

And in the eighth day the flesh of his foreskin shall be circumcised. Leviticus 12:3

Circumcision taught against and forbidden by Paul

Was anyone called [after] being circumcised? He must not undo his circumcision. Was anyone called in uncircumcision? He must not become circumcised. Circumcision is nothing and uncircumcision is nothing, but the keeping of the commandments of God. 1 Corinthians 7:18-19

Look! I, Paul, tell you that if you become circumcised, Christ will profit you nothing! And again I testify to every man who becomes circumcised, that he is under obligation to keep the whole law. You are estranged from Christ, [you] who are attempting to be justified by the law; you have fallen from grace. Galatians 5:2-4

For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love. Galatians 5:6

If you want to earn your salvation by following the law. You better be perfect. Because if your not. Your not going to be happy on judgment day, You can throw your works at God all you want. he will say depart from him, for he never knew you.

it is not faith plus the law. It is the law BRINGING us to faith. (a tutor to lead us to christ)
But many today are being taught faith only and nothing of the law. So, how can the law bring them to faith, when they are disregarding the law ? One will have no use for the law without first having faith. It is true faith that makes us want to abide in God's laws. If one cares nothing of the law, then they are fooling themselves if they think they have faith. One cannot possess true faith and just run around doing as they wish.

he never commanded against it, He said it was not necessary. HUGE difference. (you need to study gal 3. when paul specifically said those who try to add circumcision to grace was to be anathema'd.)
I never said Paul did command against it. It was somebody else who said that.

"Women are not to preach in the church" is not a "law" at all; it's not in Scripture anywhere. Don't quote non-Scripture and imply that it is Scripture when in fact it is merely your interpretation, which nobody is bound to follow.
1 Corinthians 14:34 - Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but [they are commanded] to be under obedience, as also saith the law.

When the Law of Moses was written (If that is what we mean here by 'The Law') There was no Church.

The problem has been from the beginning, a letter vs. spirit, or works plus faith issue.
He preaches obedience of the letter of the law, no matter what topic he's on in any thread.
It's why he keeps running into problems here.
I think it is those who "disregard" God's commands that are running themselves into problems.

I see where Paul is saying circumcision is no longer required, but I don't see him commanding against it as you stated earlier. I would say it is entirely irrelevant.

I never once have stated that i follow the law perfectly. Never have I nor ever will I make such a statement. What I have said is that I "try" to follow the law. Very much different from your false accusation.

I never said you never said you followed the law. I was just showing you the REQUIREMENT for those who TRY to follow the law (nice, you accuse me of doing wrong when YOU DID by assuming I did something I did not do. Way to go buddy.

The law does not condemn anyone to death that repents and asks for forgiveness of the Father.

Woe up there dude, The law did not say if you ask forgiveness I will forgive you. the law said if you sin, a sacrifice of an innocent unblemished creature must be given, THEN and ONLY THEN will I forgive you of your sin,

The law provides a sound blueprint of how one is best to live his/her life.

No it does not. if it did, Jesus would not have to say the law says this, But I tell you that, Jesus is telling you the law is not sufficient to do what you claim. It is obvious you did not read a thing I said, why did you bother to respond. I explained this quite clearly in my post.

Of course, no one is perfect so we all are going to make mistakes along the way. That is why to repent. I would never recommend that anyone disregard the law altogether and only rely upon faith to enter Heaven. Even if faith alone will gain you entrance, which is debatable by viewing some scripture, not following the law will make a person's life worse and it will not provide a good example for others. Matthew 5:19 explains the best thing to do.

Of course no one is perfect. Which means EVERYONE is cursed by the law.

The law never said repent and I will forgive you, if you do not understand the sacrificial priestly system, how can you ever claim you understand the cross?

Again, reread what I posted. if you can rebut what I said, I will listen, otherwise, these general comments which show you did not read anything hurt you, they do not help you

Better yet would be for you ladies to grow up a bit and stop making such ridiculous comments. All because you hate what God has told you and you don't want to go by it. So you take your frustration out on who delivered you His message.

the devil is the accuser of the brethren and right now you are on his payroll

I honestly would think a man of your age would have better things to do than accuse people you do not know...what is this? your 3rd day here?.....of taking a stand against God

you might as well paint pharisee on your forehead by now because you want to whip people with your accusations

at your age, I would make sure I have a right relationship with my Savior and get my life in order

I'm serious about that

you may well be used to running your own little chalet, but this is not your forum and you do not know the people you are insulting

I see you in the circle of religious hypocrites who wanted Jesus to condemn the woman caught in adultery...you are very angry and your fist clenches a stone and you look from Jesus to the woman who is cowering in the dirt

you should know that every one of you left because you were all just as guilty as the woman Jesus forgave and told to sin no more

our sins are forgiven by JESUS...but it seems you have hatred in your heart and want a good old stoning to take place

it will be you who leaves if you keep up your nastiness because people will begin to report you and the mods will pay attention to your nastiness...prob ask you to stop...and when you are nasty with them also, they will simply banish you and leave you to take out your disappoint with not being able to actually physically hurt anyone here, in your own little and getting smaller circle of hypocrisy and cold love

Jesus is the One who died for each one of us and you are currently saying it does not matter because you have a difference of opinion and you fancy yourself the big boss

since I have been here, I have seen a number of your personality types come and go...as in 'banned'

again, I would check my own heart and ask myself why condemning women means so much to you

it has nothing to do with a love of the word or God or Jesus.

lol. Ever read romans 1? the world knows, thats why they have no excuse.

Who is teaching people can run around and do as they wish? Your strawman is getting you no where. NO ONE HER IS SAYING THAT.

The law WILL NOT TEACH YOU MORALITY. That was not its purpose. Jesus showed us how to be morally upright people. just 2 commands, Love God, and your neighbor (all people even your enemy you come in contact with) and you will not break the law.

You do not look to the law for moral guidance, YOU LOOK AWAY FROM YOURSELF. and learn to love others as Jesus loved others (sacrificing your own needs for their needs)

I don't have a problem, other than being a sinner like the rest of you. It is those who believe they can show faith by running around doing as they wish that have a problem.

That was written to the churches of Corinth, a general command written specifically to them because of situations they were in.

Do you ever study historical application?

Paul later called women deacons and elders. Did he expect them to be quiet?

No. those who are trying to obey them by their own power (rules and regulations) and not the power of God (love God and your neighbor) who are running themselves into problems. and bringing a bunch of people down with them.

WRONG. It was not I speaking of the law concerning men and women. I posted the word of God and it was HE speaking of what HE expects from men and women. My opinion is not put forth when I post scripture. That is the word of THE ALMIGHTY, it is not my word.
We must be careful on how we hear God. The counterfeiter is always there trying to snatch away the meaning like; “Did God really mean you will die”?

Remember we are informed that we do not need a man to teach us and therefore usurp the teaching ministry of Christ the Holy Spirit which would include a woman as mankind.

That’s the M.O. of the antichrists as we are informed in 1 John 2

No way to get around it. It’s your private interpretation of His interpretation…. the Bible .Like fingerprints every man has one as a personal commentary.

There simply is no daysman as a infallible fleshly umpire between God and man . Again even the Son of man when called good teacher replied only God not seen is the good infallible interpreter.

One is our teacher in heaven just as one is our father in heaven .in that way we do not call men on earth father or teachers . The gift of teaching is not the gift of infallibility.

First things first

Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.2Pe 1:20

First things first

God is no served with human hands neither of male or female. He has no needs but satisfies all.

If He can use the mouth of Balaam’s Ass as a unclean animal that must be redeemed with a Lamb to typify a unbeliever, in order to declare his will\gospel he certainly can use a woman as an apostle to bring His gospel.

Num 22:28 And the LORD opened the mouth of the ass, and she said unto Balaam, What have I done unto thee, that thou hast smitten me these three times?

Women can prophecy by declaring the word of God .Its not man or woman who can apply it to the heart of others and cause growth.

The being silent is another kind of teaching. Having to do with another kind of joint ministry using man and woman

it has been clearly revealed that this arrogant dude does not know scripture other than in a fashion to wield whatever judgment appeals to him in any given situation

look at his comments regarding what Paul said about circumcision

the guy is clueless

might be good to just ignore his comments as division and condemnation seem to be his favorite meal

a delicacy in fact

I don't expect anyone to actually take that advice

well since NO ONE here is doing this, your barking up the wrong tree.
