Feather pillows or fiber? They are ok if you wash them in machine and try them in a tumble dryer. Try having a tennisball or two in the machine.

How do you wash pillows without getting lumps? I've looked online and I've tried all that...still get lumps.
I got new pillows a few months ago...I really want to wash them but I'm afraid. I hate lumpy pillows.
Go ahead and wash it and get lumps, then punch it half to death. Or knead it like a baker kneads a lump of bread dough.

It is all about the pillow. And the filling/stuffing.

When I ask someone do you watch wrestling, they respond "why would anyone watch it, it's fake". I respond "how about we go watch realistic programming like the Walking Dead and Game Of Thrones"

A more valid argument would be to reference a popular reality show. Your argument doesn't work because the shows you reference don't attempt to be considered real, they are blatant fiction. Wrestling does.

I use these waterproof pillowcase protectors. They go between the pillow and pillowcase so you don't have to wash your pillow, just the cases.. Some people might not like them because they are kind of like nylon so they are slightly stiffer than a regular cottony pillowcase.

I was going to ask if they are crinkly (noisy) but the write up says this:

Mainstays Waterproof S/Q 2-Pack Pillow Cover:
  • Waterproof protection to block spills and stains
  • Durable zippered closure
  • Soft
  • Quiet fabric
  • Machine wash and dry

And they are inexpensive, too

Emphasis mine on the "quiet fabric" :)

Yea they are similar to like a umm light windbreaker material I think...but they are more sheer than a windbreaker. You can see through them a bit. The ones I use are Allerease brand: (but I got mine from walmart and I think they were a little cheaper)

This sounds morbid, but in some ways I think I may die young (like not in my 80s). It’s a strange thing thinking about all this, knowing that this is my only time I will have on earth and it’s fleeting. Whether my conscience dies along with my body or if I truly have a soul that will live on afterwards. I can see how it could be either way.

There's plenty of evidence for a soul that lives on, and even witness accounts of people who were pronounced dead and came back to life on the operating table. Most of them report good things but a few experienced what they believe was hell. The ones who had bad experiences were atheists....and they came back either Christian or simply believing in God.

People who seem to be “dead” because they don’t really “do” anything may be more alive than people scurrying about hither and yon. For example, people who seem “dead” may have extremely rich thought lives, imaginations, and prayer lives. I don’t know that the loner/thinkers may be actually MORE alive than the “movers and shakers” of the world. It is something to consider before you judge someone as “having no life.”

I really hate it when people say things like "get a life." It's like...everyone has a life and they chose to live it how they please. I'm not the type that likes to be out and about either...it doesn't mean I don't have a life. Haters gonna hate.

Putting any kind of object in the machine can actually wear the machine down even faster. I really don't advocate for putting anything but clothing and linens in the washer/dryer as I like to have those machines last since they are spendy to fix and/or replace.

Little Mermaid: A general rule of thumb, when in doubt....handwash and lay flat to dry. I personally like lumpy pillows, but I generally replace mine every two years anyways :)

That’s very sweet. :) I was being overly defensive. I always do bristle when someone accuses me of something true about myself! Lol, I had a guy tell me (repeatedly) I was not a Christian. I just said “whatever” because I know Whom I have believed. But if someone criticizes me about something true, I get mad as a hornet and have to blow off steam somewhere, even if it is on an internet message board.

I'll be surprised if I live out of my 60s. Can't count the number of times I've thought that

I will say a prayer for God to provide you with a life. My wife has said many prayers for you and even asked the members of her church to pray for you which they gladly did so. You're in good hands my friend.
