I believe that it was in the Babel's tower. I don't believe that only the change of language would be sufficient to disperse all people around the world. On the other hand, to see persons have their countenance and color changed together with their language would seem to be a aberration.

It appears that when GOD gave every body a different language and the Bible does not expand upon that, He dispersed people. I have not really studied it but Nimrod was the first emperor of the world and Babylon. During this time, God changed all languages and dispersed people across the world.....Was it that this was during Peleg's lifetime. We Know that the world was divided during His lifetime. Just a thought?

If you believe that Flood was 4000 years ago, its impossible for such amount of species variations we see today to develop.

Evolution is much much slower... so... I do not know, if it supports your statement. Unless you believe that Flood was in more distant past...?
I don't believe in evolution! I believe that God created Adam with the entire human genome and Eve, having been built from his rib also had the entire genome. All of the variations were manifest in Noah's children and grandchildren.

Adam's name means red; so presumably his skin had plentiful erythrocytes.

I have recently decided to read the Bible front to back, to familiarize myself with Gods word. I still have my daily and nightly devotionals, this is just something I personally wanted to do. On to my question... when God flooded the earth the only human survivors were, Noah, his wife and his sons. Do we all exist because of noah’s Family? If so where do different races come into the picture. I’m not doubting the word, this was just the 1st thing that popped into my head. Any explanation would be greatly appreciated.
When you say races, are your referring to the anthropological, biological or genetic classification of race?

The flood only destroys those in whose nostrils was the breath of life, of all that was in the dry land, died.
(See Gen 7:22)

You know what is ironic, if one was to suggest that the LORD brought forth more than one male and female on earth since the man and his wife were one flesh, and he made them, would they know whose word they were doubting? (See Matt 9:4-6) But then again Cain departed to the land of Nod after being banished from his tribe after the death of his brother, where he knew his wife and built a city. (See Gen 4:17) Of course, it must have his sister since it was only after men begin to multiply upon the face of the earth that daughters were born. (See Gen 6:1)

Your unbelief in evolution will not make evolution to work faster :) You can call it microevolution or whatever, but for 2000 years (and probably much longer) we see no changes in three main human races. So there is no basis for a teaching that in earlier 2000 years everything evolved so quickly.

Either they were genetically differentiated during the Babel´s tower miraculously, as somebody here proposed, or humanity is much older than few thousands years, if it happened naturally.

Adam´ name means reddish, because he was taken from the land which is (probably) reddish in those areas. Its not about his skin color, its about his origin, IMHO.

First from Adam and Eve, then narrowed down again to Noah and his children......this is the simple response to the titled question.

Not sure where you live, but come down to south florida and we will walk on the beach. I am pretty sure you wont be able to classify most there into your 3 main races, and that's a good thing!

On the other hand, I found a concept called "frozen evolution" which propose that there is a changing of two states, in evolution. An era of a rapid development and then an era of "locked" or "frozen evolution" in which species are showing little or no changes.

This could explain the problem.

"Frozen evolution - oh, thats not the way it is, Mr. Darwin." - Frozen Evolution. Or, that’s not the way it is, Mr. Darwin. A Farewell to Selfish Gene. | Introduction to Frozen plasticity theory by Jaroslav Flegr.

Mixing of races is a different thing than the evolution of new race based on the area of living...

If you will mix European and Asian, yes, you will get some marks of Europen and some marks of Asian in the child. But thats not our topic. Our topic is that you have three sons of Noah and in 2000 years they supposedly developed very different appearance just based on their separation.

I completey agree just because someone's name means red doesn't mean their skin color was that color.

Word play, Hebrew word Adamah means earth, could very be the red clay of the earth. But no one knows because no one was there.

From Adam to Jesus...aren't the scriptures solely about the genealogy of Jesus? It doesn't answer men's questioning though, but the scriptures gives the answers to the why we are here. And the where are we going to, and the how.

All that we really need to know, is to know...experience....Him.

I know the intellectuals wont agree. :)

Why not? In the Bible every name has a specific significance. And what if Adam was a Redskin? Do you find that objectionable?

Who cares what color he was really does any of that really matter.

from the red clay of earth can be a reason why the name means red as well.

Yeah, I can't believe anyone would have ever thought that a sperm was an actual tad pole....lol
What are you seeing that I'm not?

Because this...
except you came from a electrified human sludge egg in the womb of woman, well for the most part, it took the tad pole swimming up stream to complete You.
I can't say the process from dirt to human, but I can say God is still in the creation business. People today are created from a egg ball of soup and a tad pole to human in 9 months. Today as I write this Suns are being created inside super heated nebula's.

Yes God is still always at work.
Of coarse and you know what? people and most land animals and most marine animals are created from two things, the soup egg and tad pole semen. people can't even fathom why or how God creates life today, less fathom the past creations.

i know it's easy to call it idiotic when one doesn't have a clue as to how or why.
looks like happenstance by some "intelligent design" rather than God to me.

Same thing being taught at schools -- put a little amino acid in with inert substance, time + luck + chance, and poof! A living being!

And that living being is just a one cell animal, but more time + luck + chance, and viola! We have the ancestors of humans.

Then more time + luck + chance, and eventually we get around to homo sapiens.

And it takes me back to the days when teachers tried to teach me that in the growing process of an embryo, we have all species of animals take place -- from fish, to amphibians, to reptiles, to birds, to mammals all vying for the chance to be born. Because, after all, what is God but Time + Luck + Chance?

Ok tell me the correct answer to what a semen specimen looks like, is it just a ball or what. Inlighten me as to what it looks like then and I am talking about under a microscope not the other,

You say all those things you've been taught. So state it here what does it look like?

Not really. While the genealogy of Christ is extremely important, there is a lot more that has been revealed with reference to humanity. In fact biblical chronology is established through the genealogies also. Study The Chronology of the Old Testament by Martin Anstey.
