I doubt that king's feminist kingdom would survive very long. His queen would be sent to lead the military with a bunch of women, while the men sat home doing their laundry and changing their diapers. Somehow I doubt that would be very successful.

The ministry of reconciliation is in Christ Jesus .... who reconciles us to God, I do not see how the conversion of Paul is related to this

Theology means the study of the nature of God, your second paragraph is your theology so to speak.
Somehow you have been indoctrinated that all theology is bad or wrong, to me that comes across as almost cultic.

King hornet was green hornets long lost, but not forgotten father but he went over to the dark side, then he helped green hornet blow up the deathstar.
It is my experience, when I decided to set down my theological doctrines at the foot of the cross, trust in Christ and what He did for me on the cross 100% plus nothing else, and turn to God to help me understand His word and doctrines, I understood what I say here, God is not a theologian, and theology is not from God.
It doesn't mean that I don't listen or look or get exposed to various schools of thought... I don't believe I have said theology is bad, I'll have to go back and read my posts, but I do believe theology creates a lot of bad doctrine and wrong thinking, and we need to be mindful of recovering ourselves. As a workman, I don't want to be an ineffective Christian for the ministry high calling. I accept the distinctions God has made in His word for us and our learning regarding stewardship of mystery truths in this current age of grace.

I am so thankful to our Lord that He gives us only one day to live at a time. Yesterday does not belong to us any longer, It is in God's hands. There is nothing we can do about what we did or what happened, yesterday. Tomorrow doesn't belong to us either. Neither you nor I know if we will even be here tomorrow. Tomorrow belongs to God also. The only day he has given to us is, Today!

Yes I can relate to this completely, however it is not theology that is the problem, it is that people develop wrong theology, it cannot be helped, people generally have internal biases that they cannot even see let alone get beyond, I know I was definitely influenced by my own preconceived ideas and heavily influenced by the supposed great thinkers of the past generations.

Leading and guiding the flock with responsibility and accountability, and by example. That goes waaaay beyond mere knowledge of truth.
See, many Christians think being a pastor means you know more than others and for that reason that makes you qualified to lead people. That's simply not true.
Being a pastor of the flock means not just having knowledge (ALL Christians are supposed to have knowledge), but also being able to share it effectively and with power. And it means being able to counsel and lead and guide people into the truths of the Bible that you teach them, walking them through their struggles with wisdom and sensitivity and compassion. And protecting them from enemies of all kinds, spiritually and physically. All the while demonstrating these truths and how to live them through the example of your own life. And then, in the end, being accountable to God for how you performed the task of pastoring he assigned to you.
This is the authority of the office of pastor that God has ordained that only some men will have. Along with all you females, I ain't one of those to whom he gives that authority either.

The Bible tells us that obedience leads to understanding. It is not that our understanding leads us to be obedient. Obedience must come first, then when God sees the obedience, it is then that He will place the understanding within you.

I have just seen a documentary about the role of women in the early church. It focused on three in particular mentioned in the
Gospels Mary Magdalene, Johanna and Salome. It was very interesting. In Israel there is a large tomb hewn from rock that was used by an early Church congregation. It was stated that it was the oldest known church in Israel. On a wall there is a prayer in Greek to Salome asking for the healing of a sick member of the Church. Also in some Catacombs a late fourth century mural has be discovered depicting a Female Bishop with the Gospels and the Holy Spirits fire descending on her. According to the programe some congregations had female Bishops until a Pope ordered them to stop ordaining them. It was stated that Constantine was responsible for stopping women from being in active roles because he wanted a powerful masculine church in order to push his political programes through.

You've described a pastor's role and job requirements. I was looking for a specific description of what "pastoral authority over men" is. I know what authority an employer does and doesn't have. The same with a LEO. But I have no idea what authority over men a pastor has.
