He certainly WAS ridiculing the KJV and even if you say he wasn't why was he ridiculing me for posting it's verses when all other versions of the Bible say essentially the very same thing in those verses ? You cannot give any good reason for that because one does not exist. And there is more blasphemy on your part now, speaking of God handing the Bible to King James. Can you not see that joking about any Bible is not a good thing to be doing ? Any criticism of those worshiping the KJV Bible IS A CRITICISM of the BIBLE itself. And I am growing very used to something too. That is you and your little hit squad constantly attacking anyone who wishes to disagree with you. You cannot argue the truth within the Bible and be correct, so you and your small group of friends resort to personal attacks when anyone posts a part of the Bible that you do not like or wish to obey. With your personal attacks, attacks on the Bible and your constant refusal to accept the Bible as truth, you and your friends just keep revealing your true colors. You keep on revealing that following the Bible is somehow secondary to your own views and your own worldly opinions.
So I have remained silent for many days, mostly because I became convinced there was a comprehension problem, which no amount of reasonable discussion could fix.
I chose now to speak again because it seemed too ridiculous to let it continue to be said that any man had slandered a translation of the bible.
But then...once again, there is a comprehension problem here too, so nothing I say will change it. So I should have continued in my silence. Carry on. Just realize that some men don't have the ability to comprehend the discussion and all the arguing in the world won't give them an ability they don't possess.

You would be wise to spend more time honoring the truth in the Bible, rather than honoring any jokes involving the Bible. You think it is funny to mock the (KJV) Bible, and to laugh at those who post it's truth. Someday, I believe you will find out that wasn't so funny after all.

It is very clear what took place. If you wish to bury your head into the sand and not see it, then that is your choice. The only "comprehension" problem is on the part of you and your little hit squad. You don't like truth, so you always attack the messenger. It has happened over and over again and it is still happening.
You are evidencing a severe persecution complex here on CC. It appears to be chronic. If I was going to speculate, I'd say that your "age" posted is really your year of birth... your posts are classic examples of a 25 year old that "knows everything" and wants everyone else to recognize it.
When others don't recognize it, you become offended, and claim victimhood.
Nobody is singling you out for attack, there is no "hit squad" after you.... people simply disagree with your totalitarian beliefs and approach to discussion, and you don't seem to be able to handle that. Another sign of immaturity.

This forum is literally infested with those who wish to deny clearly written scripture, in favor of their own earthly views and then ridicule anyone willing to post God's words. Infested with those who believe because they have been somewhere longer, that this somehow makes them more correct. Infested with those who wish to mock and make fun of a Bible, in an attempt to cover up the fact that they are not following it. Infested with those who wish to make up every excuse under the sun in some attempt to discount what the Bible clearly says. Fake Christianity is what that is and it is alive and well within these pages and a few of it's participants. There is some more truth I am sure the mockers will attack.

I hear what you are saying Nehemiah. But there is also a time to stand up and to speak the truth, just as Jesus did in the temple. Not always is a Christian to bow and simply walk away. I give you your freedom of choice and I believe you should give me mine. I have sat watching this hit squad on here attacking anyone and everyone they disagree with and blatantly disregarding scripture for long enough.

Nothing but more slander of the truth. I posted that truth by posting many verses from the Bible itself. That wasn't me speaking, it was God Himself speaking to me and everyone else here. Those who did not like that truth have been attacking that messenger ever since, including you. If anyone is demonstrating any "immaturity" here it is you and your little clique that is constantly denying scripture and standing up for others that wish to do the same. Joking about the Bible and committing blasphemy in the process. You go right on doing that and defending it, but I guarantee you are not helping yourself when you do.

It is extremely obvious who the immature people are here. It is those who cannot have a peaceful debate without issuing their insults and personal attacks upon another human being. It is those who constantly deny scripture and then in their haste resort to blasphemy of the BIBLE. It is those who laugh at these things and sit encouraging more of the same that demonstrate their "immaturity".

Some of this conversation reminds me of when I was a brand new Christian and as a babe in Christ, walking yet in my own understanding. One day I read the words, “Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live,” in Exodus 22. From that point on, the devil vexed me day and night that I didn’t deserve to live because I grew up around some occult activity. Nobody could convince me my sin of being around witchcraft wasn’t the unpardonable sin, because God’s Word says occultists shouldn’t live. My faith was so shaken, the Lord Himself was the only One who could renew my mind on that matter.
Sounds ridiculous, right? But it was frighteningly serious to me back then. It was God’s Word, after all and I had to believe it. Glory to God and praise His magnificent name for renewing my mind by His Spirit. When God renews a man’s mind, he knows the absolute Truth, and the Truth sets him free. That Truth is Jesus!
This is the case here. Only God can renew a man’s mind and give him peace about a matter. If you don’t have peace, if you’re angry and freaking out, fearful and disillusioned with people not living up to your specifications, bitter with trying to wrangle the Word of God to fit your “babe” thinking, you really need to ask God to give you His wisdom and set you free.
No Jesus, no peace. Know Jesus, know peace.

Auntie, that was a lot of words just to insult a person for posting truth and wishing to believe in the word of God. There is nothing "babe" about posting God's word and trusting in it. However, there is something wrong with defending those who wish to attack that behavior. Although cleverly worded, your assessment of this situation is entirely false and clearly illustrates your bias towards the actual offenders here. I never posted any of "my specifications" on this site at all. You, just as many others here simply cannot fathom the fact that scripture belongs to no human and that it is not the words of any human. What I posted was God's specifications and His expectations and have been being attacked by a select few ever since that began, simply because they do not like truth. You have joined in with them attacking that messenger and now you've just done it again. It doesn't matter how cleverly you try to word something, falsity is still falsity. I did not begin any attacks on anyone here. I posted scripture exactly as it is written and was attacked by those who do not wish to follow nor believe in that scripture. Over and over again, people have been using their sarcasm and name calling to attack someone who gave them the truth. Now, you can view that any way you like, but that is exactly what has taken place here. And it IS those who have been doing all the name calling and constantly shouting their insults that have proven to be the "immature" people here. Worse even than that, they have proven they care much, much more about their own earthly views rather than anything the BIBLE has to say. Now, if you want to twist all of that around and pretend the one posting truth is wrong, then certainly that does resemble some sort of witchcraft at work. Wisdom is found in obeying the BIBLE. It is not found by opposing it.

Saying that there is blasphemy of the bible is a matter of opinion and not necessarily fact. Attaching a 'immaturity' label on someone is a matter of opinion as well. In my opinion.
