It is those opposing the BIBLE and it's word and those who are issuing all the attacks and insults and those making jokes involving the BIBLE, it is those that should be examining their hearts. By doing all of those things they prove themselves to be wrong over and over again. For those standing up for the BIBLE and believing and defending it's true written word, those hearts are already in the proper place. It is amazing just how many people will attack a messenger of the truth when that truth is placed in front of them.

Posting of the age is critical in gauging a proper response. One has the option of not posting their age which I respect but if an age is posted it should reflect the correct age of the member. I was just inquiring whether or not this member's age was correct. Of course, he is under no obligation to address my inquiry and I respect that as well.
Become a messenger of uplifting good news and not just a lot of doom and gloom and you will be better received. I really don't believe that anyone hates you here. The Bible Discussion Forum is often been a place of heated debate, nothing new here, and not a personal reflection of your posts either. You have just as much right to post what you believe as everyone else.

I didn't message any doom and gloom. I simply messaged the scripture proving women are not to preach within the church, and I have been attacked ever since. And I don't care how I am received here OR anywhere else in this world. I only care about telling the truth about what GOD has said. It is the mockery and blasphemy upon the Bible itself that upsets me most. Yes, you are right I have just as much right to my belief as anyone else. The only problem is that my belief has been much too close to exactly what the Bible says for some people's comfort level here, that is precisely why I have been attacked so much. But that is perfect proof that my belief is correct as proven in the scripture I just provided above.

Some people here only pretend to want truth, when actually they hate the truth and anyone who delivers it. They have been proving this fact for more than a week now by searching everywhere under the sun for reasons NOT to go by what the BIBLE says, instead of having any faith in it's word. It is exactly as the Bible says, obedience leads to understanding. The one who is not obedient first is never going to possess the understanding. When one delves into their own understanding first and requires additional proof beyond the word of God itself in order to obey a command, they are simply looking for an excuse not to obey it. This is exactly why the Bible tells us not to rely upon our own in depth understanding of any of the verses, but simply to follow them. Once God sees one being obedient, it is then that He will share the complete understanding of the verse with them. When people go in search of that understanding first it is a big mistake and often exactly what causes them to end up being disobedient. Be obedient to the exact word first and wisdom and understanding will come later. This is how the Bible teaches, but humans like to think they are so smart that they have a better way. They do not have a better way than God teaches. It is ludicrous for them to allow others to influence them into believing such nonsense. It is those who obey the Bible without question that show true faith. Faith is not shown by those questioning every word of scripture that is placed before them. It is the false prophets teaching them to do this.

You definitely need to re-read my post. I was referencing my own spiritual dilemma and then relaying that only God can renew a man’s (human being’s) mind. And that if anyone didn’t have peace or was freaking out or angry, they need to seek God about their unrest and anxiety and ask for His Wisdom. Nowhere did I blame any particular person. I didn't even allude to anyone in particular.
You read it the way your heart perceived it. And now I am speaking directly to you: You are restless and struggling with guilt, LD. Which explains why you wanna hammer the law over others day after day and use guilt to motivate others nonstop. You see Father God as a cruel Task Master. You are angry because your guilt tripping others ain’t accomplishing what you want it to. You want control, but you lack self-control. And as long as you don’t run to the Lord and let Him heal you of anger & bitterness, you’ll keep “kicking against the pricks” as Jesus said and hurting the body of Christ.
You name called our sister, accused people of forming a hit squad, and were flirting sarcasm at the ladies. None of which is that big a deal. Just foolish shenanigans. But there you are crying about being persecuted, joked about, and name called when it happens to you and you even compared your "persecution" on this thread to the three young men in the fiery furnance at one point. Are you kidding me??
And yet you dished it out to others so easily. I guess it's only persecution when it hurts your feelings. Do you mean to tell me a 93 year old man hasn’t yet learned to accept criticism with grace? If you can’t hold up under name calling, you have no business teaching until you grow up.

hey loyaldisciple. the reason why I said ALL of us in my post is because we daily need Holy Spirit to show us/teach us/lead us. i know I often need Him to remind me of past lessons because this oh so human mind/heart forgets often. I'm a work in progress. Jesus said "it is finished," but dang my flesh gets in the way often. so I need Holy Spirit to search me, to examine me. the Lord's beautiful Bride needs that reminder.
