I do not think he understands the basic concept that everyone name is written in the book of life. Their status is not updated until they die, If they die in unbelief, they are blotted out. If they die after having been adopted as Gods son, their name will remain.

God does not add names, then subtract them if they mess up. then add them again, etc etc.
