Do you know why the word of God is a double-edged sword?

Because whenever you try to condemn others with it, it condemns you, too.

Whenever you try to encourage somebody with it, it encourages you, too.

Whenever you try to teach somebody with it, it teaches you, too.

Etc.

wow.... I hope you're kidding.:p

For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight; everything is uncovered and exposed before the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.

The Word of God divides your carnal mind from your spirit. God severs your flesh man away, and exposes your spirit to Him, bare and naked before Him. You can't hide from Him. You must answer to Him alone. That's what that scripture means. Where in the world did you get the idea it was talking about condemnation???

How come Nehemiah, preacher4truth, and loyaldisciple won't take a crack at answering these simple questions? I thought they knew EXACTLY what the scriptures say. At least Trofimus took a shot at answering.

"Let US make man is OUR own image.”

Question 1.) Who was God talking to?

If God created man in His own image in the beginning,

Question 2.) Did man ever stop being in God’s image?

"Male and female created He them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created."

Question 3.) Who were the plural Adam's?

Jesus said, "Don't act out in anger, turn the other cheek, submit one to another, deny yourself, humble yourself, love your enemies, do not be bitter, do not be jealous of your neighbor, don't lust."

Question 4.) Are you submitting to Christ right now?

If Jesus died for the sins of the whole world, if His blood covers every sin anyone committed...

Question 5.) Who is going to hell?

Question 6.) Are you going to hell?

Some women are ever learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Paul had some choice words about these.
Jesus had some choice words to religious men who wouldn't come to the knowledge of the truth. Do you know what those choice words are?

You hope. Some women are ever learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Paul had some choice words about these.
What a disgustingly sexist misapplication of Scripture. Those "choice words" were about men specifically, not women! Here's what they actually say, in context:

2 Timothy 3 King James Version (KJV)1This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
[SUP]2 [/SUP]For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
[SUP]3 [/SUP]Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
[SUP]4 [/SUP]Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
[SUP]5 [/SUP]Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
[SUP]6 [/SUP]For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
[SUP]7 [/SUP]Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
[SUP]8 [/SUP]Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.

Even if you will prove that you know some information "we men" do not know, it does not change anything on God´s given order in a family or in church, IMHO.
Honestly, that statement really reeks of jealousy and bitterness. Yikes. :p

And by the way, I don't know the mind of God. That's why I ask Him to reveal what He means. Doesn't the word tell us that?

If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.

If you don't know something, just ask God. Isn't that wiser than guessing, assuming, or trying to figure it out on our own? Or worse yet, depending on somebody else to explain it? That way no man can boast and God gets the glory. :)

Why would you believe that I want to prove I know more than you? From whose heart is that proceeding?

Do I know more than you? Who is the church? Is the church spiritual or something seen?

If God tells you not to add one tiny little thing to His word, and you aren’t absolutely certain of what His word says, so you add something to it with, “IMHO”, is that disobeying God?
My Bible is the Septuagint. In it, only the male is called Adam. Your question about it does not make much sense to me.

4 different Greek words are translated as "hell" in English. So its a translation issue. Again, your comments do not make much sense (like "Which bible quotes Jesus as saying, “You may be going to one of four hells. One has weep and gnashing of teeth.").

If you mean the lake of fire, a place of torment and death, its gehenna.

My comments do not make "much" sense? Or you don't want to answer?

Or the "translation issue" in your Septuagint bible leaves you not knowing for a certainty what hell actually is and you can't answer?

If our flesh rots away and only our spirit can exist eternally, is the lake of fire spiritual, too?

And while we're at it, what's wood, hay and stubble?

Can you formulate your questions in a different way?

For example, your question "so your bible contradicts truth" does not make any sense, because your bible is not a standard of truth more than mine.

It is certainly not a misapplication of Scripture but the correct interpretation for the above two verses. I will let the well known Matthew Henry explain this to you:

..And see what sort of people those were that they gained, and made proselytes of; they were such as were weak, silly women; and such as were wicked, laden with sins, and led away with divers lusts. A foolish head and a filthy heart make persons, especially women, an easy prey to seducers. 2. He shows how far they were from coming to the knowledge of the truth, though they pretended to be ever learning,v. 7. In one sense we must all be ever learning, that is, growing in knowledge, following on to know the Lord, pressing forward; but these were sceptics, giddy and unstable, who were forward to imbibe every new notion, under pretence of advancement in knowledge, but never came to a right understanding of the truth...

Earthly opinions? And from what planet do you offer yours from?
I didn't offer any opinions on this subject from any planet. I provided the very true and very clearly written word of God straight from the Bible. I provided you with HIS WORDS, not mine.

You Auntie, are the one here exhibiting the most "bitterness" by a long shot. That is extremely evident in your choice of words as well as your very inappropriate video postings. Again, you are allowing your anger to take you over, because you do not like the scripture that has been given to you.

You are passing on an extra-biblical teaching, after asking the women to take the pure scripture at face value. I've never heard of the "well known" Mathew wotshisname. It puzzles me why a man would want to keep "teaching" about women in this way. Wouldn't they be serving the church better by teaching men how to nurture their wives and families rather than constantly reminding women of all their shortcomings?

Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.

Men of corrupt minds. Men. Reprobate concerning the faith. Men. There seems to be a MAN problem in this verse.

Given that Paul goes on to name two men as examples of the people he was describing, I submit that "ever learning and never able to acknowledge the truth" refers to the men described in vs. 2 - 6a, not the women noted in 6b. Matthew Henry clearly didn't have a high view of women either.

I have demonstrated clearly in previous posts that you don't just share Scripture. Rather, you are very "generous" in sharing your opinion regarding the Scripture and the people who disagree with your interpretation of it.

In other words, get some integrity.

What? You aren't making any sense, you are just putting words in my mouth.
That preacher was giving you the absolute truth of the BIBLE in that video. You said he was simply "ranting" on about his own ideas. When the Bible's truth is given to you and you declare it just a bunch of ideas, that is calling the Bible just ideas. There is no placing words in your mouth. That is exactly what you said.

I do not know what belief do you have, but in Christianity, we believe in Father, Son and the Holy Spirit, three persons, not just roles.
She is speaking as though she is a Unitarian. Believing God is one entity.

You men seem to have great faith in your beliefs. Can any of you answer these spiritual questions?

With "all" the anger you have exhibited here Auntie, you certainly are not one to preach to any man concerning anger issues. The blind cannot lead the masses. If you want to preach about anger, I recommend you first learn to control your own bitterness and anger. Your feminists views have you grossly disagreeing with scripture and then taking that anger out on man. Obviously you are not going to change your mind concerning seeing the truth. But at the same time, you can talk until the end of time and you are not going to change the mind of any godly man either.
