I keep the ones that remain to be literally kept by God's people who believe in Jesus. And when I fail to do that I have the blood of Christ to secure forgiveness for that transgression.
If you are making this another thread about works and how to get saved you should just go back to the Not By Works thread.
You asked if we have to keep the law. Leave the part out that everybody knows, that salvation is not earned by keeping the law. Like I say, you can go back to the Not By Works thread if you want to talk about that.

Answer my question:
What is it about loving GOD and others as one's self (commandments) that don't fulfill the demands of any part of the law?
Still not believing that we already have been forgiven of all sin, huh?
Yeah, but you turn that on it's head and claim that Law keeping is proof of salvation.

When it comes to our salvation, no amount of Law-keeping can affect it either way. Works (Law) do not justify us before God in any way - only before men.
Your pride, Ralph, is what prevents you from acknowledging that Jesus did all that was required to justify and sanctify us. You believe you must "prove" yourself to God by how you live. You seek disciples for the same reason the Judaizers did, to give you a sense of assurance that you are correct. As a buffer.
By mixing the Law with grace, you're doing little than proving yourself a fool.
"O foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you? It was before your eyes that Jesus Christ was publicly portrayed as crucified. Let me ask you only this: Did you receive the Spirit by works of the law or by hearing with faith? Are you so foolish? Having begun by the Spirit, are you now being perfected by the flesh?" (Galatians 3:1-3)
Give Philippians 3 a read sometime.
Ok, I haven't read this thread at all...so I'm probably jumping the gun here, but some of these threads are just rubbing me the wrong way. I can't understand why questions like these are being brought up.
If we love God then we love his law and want to keep Jesus' commandments. I'm not talking about sacrifices and feasts here, but Jesus's commandments and I can't see anywhere he dis-annulled or taught against keeping the commandments. He did shed light on the meaning and purpose of them, though. To Love God and Love others as ourselves.
So if for some reason we don't want to follow them. I think we need to pray and try and find out what is wrong and why we don't want to follow them? Just my thoughts on it anyhow.

As I suspected. You came here to pick a fight. That's hardly you 'loving your neighbor as yourself'-Leviticus 19:18. But who cares, you don't have too, right? That would be keeping the law. Can't have that now, can we? That would be you trying to earn your salvation.

2. If you look at the part of your reply i highlighted, that was jesus telling us HOW to obey his commands, not clarifying them he did that on the sermon on the mount, when he said, the law says, but i say....

See here is the strawman, trying to deflect from he teal issue, no one teaches this, or even insinuates this.
obedience as a MEANS to MAINTAIN SALVATION is the issue, not obedience.

I did answer your question, by gettng you to admt you have not kept the law, you would answer your own question, or by your refusal to answer do you think you do keep the law of moses..

so you admit you can’t keep the law of moses, (as james said break on command no matter how small your guilty) period ,thus have made your question invalid, if you cant keep it why do you demand o5ers do what you cant do?
Thanks and I get that EG, but if we obey his commands to Love God and others... then the commandments are covered because we won't be disregarding those either if we love God and others.
That's just my thoughts on it, anyhow.

Then what is stopping you from doing it? What can stop you from doing it? Will God ever desire you to stop doing it His way? Can sin ever exist with God?

How to? We do it in a relational manner the "how" is not always known, but the clarity of the will is known because we know the Father and Jesus thru the Holy Spirit - testifying to our spirit of His purposes. What was the result of Jesus saying "...but I say...."??? It was a standard set in Spirituality incapable of the flesh meeting it, where humans can only dare to dream at this level, Jesus has come to establish this level of living..in other words. This can be and will be done on earth as it is in heaven! Saith the Lord. He has empowered His Children and we are His witnesses to His glory. His Best for His Supreme Will - and He does it thru our weaknesses - May God receive the glory for our ability to live as Jesus lived.

But yeah, I agree with you and that's how I've always seen it. On those two laws that Jesus taught hangs all the commandments.
