I know there has been threads like this but here's a new one. So what's your favorite and how many cups can you handle? Right now I'm drinking Folgers and I must say it's quite disgusting. I've become a coffee snob lately and I crave any coffee other then the stuff my parents buy. I had a Kona Blend K-Cup but My dad drank the last one yesterday. I'm currently broke or I'd go to the nearest gas station

I have a Keurig coffee maker. It's fast, it's quiet, and it's blue. The only thing I don't like about it is, it doesn't even make a half cup of coffee. So, to fill up the cup, I have to use 2/3 creamer in it.. :/

Folgers is definitely not among my top choices in coffee, but this ranked 3rd in Coffee Strong's Top 25 Best Flavored Coffees, and I'd be berry berry intherested in sampling a cup, or two or tree.

The best coffee that I've had is made near Victoria, BC by a small roastery. Their best blend is called "Coal Miner"... a dark roast. They have a decaf version (also very good) called "Coal Miner's Daughter".

The second best is an incredibly smooth and surprisingly sweet brew by the Kicking Horse Roasting Company. Out of respect for Blue I'll edit its name to "Kick Donkey". I usually take sugar; this didn't need any.

Third best? Any decent blend made in a French press.

I'm not a coffee snob though; I happily drink Tim Horton's dark roast and McDonald's, and at home I use President's Choice dark roast. I just don't like coloured water (too weak), sludge (too strong) or Starbuck's Burnt (which is all their versions).

You've got a ways to go to become a true coffee snob, Grasshopper. (Old Kung-fu reference, just in case it's beyond your memories.)

I hate coffee, but I'm married to a (nice) coffee snob. No-can-do with K-cups. That's a preconceived notion that someone else knows how strong/weak you want your coffee. (Also a marketing plow to get you to spend more of coffee.)

Hubby's favorites are Starbuck Sumatra, Sumatra, Seattle's Best #3, Pete's Coffee, Kona, AA (can't remember the rest of that name, since he shortened it to ah-ah, but I know it when I see it on the coffee shelf.) And his breakfast coffees are Dunkin Donuts, Pete's Coffee or Starbuchs Breakfast blend, and WaWa. When out, his favorite stop-by-for-a-fresh-cup coffee is Americana at Starbucks.

Sometimes he likes French Pressed. (Sometimes he likes that weird thing that requires its own special maker that makes strange noises -- slurps -- and then the cream foams on the top. I think it's called Expresso, but I'm not allowed to make it for him, so I don't remember. lol)

Recently, he's discovered he had to cut out caffeine to sleep at night, BUT decaf has finally arrived. It's just as good as "real coffee" now.

There are two things we do no matter how our finances are. Drink our favorite drinks. His is coffee. Mine is diet decaf Coke or Pepsi.

To cover that, we hide money. (There is a reason I collect banks, each bank has squirreled away money, because we have been broke enough not to be able to afford rice. So, whenever we have change, or if we're getting changed and find dollar bills in our pocket, we stick it in the closest bank, just for such emergencies. lol)

Viva la coffee, and viva la diet decaf national-brand cola!

I usually drink the Kahlua brand coffee. It's a light roast, but by the time I put creamer in it, it takes on the flavor of the creamer.. I've also tried the Kawaii brand "Island Sunrise", which is a medium roast, I believe. It smells sooo good and makes my house smell like coffee.

So far, those are my 2 favorites..

Dino, thanks for protecting my virgin eyes.. :p LOL

is the reference from the Karate Kid? I seen the original many years ago. I'll take k-cups over Folgers any day My favorite coffee was a blend the goblin workshop back when it was open My friend Andy ran the place and it was a hang out for local nerds before Andy moved I promoted my card game there and in my opinion they had the best coffee in town. Sadly Andy moved to Hawaii in July :/ There went a good friend and the best coffee

Coffee?
Yeah sure, you betcha!
Usually we buy dark-roast WinCo store-brand
coffee and brew it in our electric percolator.
Once in a while we splurge and buy bulk whole-bean coffee.
I prefer dark-roast and ground right before
brewing in my thermal French-press.
Two teaspoons sugar and a shot of half & half.

I love my Dunkin Donuts Decaf... I know you guys will say why bother... Because I love the flavor of coffee but not the jitters it can give me after two cups of regular I prefer to stay on the floor and not the ceiling running around in circles....lol
