And what enthuses me is - this is just the beginning my friend - not the end - for God calls us to be the light and salt of the world. By our friendship we show the world what they lack, and by God's commission we show the world what we lack as individuals outside of Christ. One of the dangers in the Church today, I see in evangelism, is that it lays the emphasis on decision for Christ - instead on surrender to Jesus Christ. That to me is a grave foo-pah-pah, or blunder. When a man decides for Christ he usually puts his confidence in his own honor, not in Christ at all. This is why I like this thread - It has people who have surrendered to Jesus - ill-regardless of where they are maturity-wise who honor not themselves but rather the Christ who has bought them at a price - the Lord which transforms their life into a family likeness of their Father. The world is in awe of this! And they are in distress because of it as well, for it points out there weaknesses in comparison to His light and highlights their death.While it also attracts them to the light if they are willing to die to the right to themselves.

Oh, I got that reversed then, I thought Shawn was your daughter. I get it now, I am so sorry about that, I was wondering how old you were when you said you had a daughter in my feeble imagination of a daughter who was 52. Wow, I think I read Aussie now...NO KIDDING PYRE SUGAR - PUT THE VEGEMITE AWAY - I"LL BE GOOD! Anyway, Did'y my prayer still applies to the right person now...forgive me for the blunder.
