Jesus said the law will last forever. That means all 613 laws scattered in the Torah are in effect. We have no hope of keeping that law. Therefore we must accept the grace through faith that Jesus gave us on the cross. All who reject Him will face judgment based on the law. We acknowledge the law is in place when we admit that we sin since sin is transgression of the law.

JESUS saw our struggle and had mercy on us and came to earth to die on the cross satisfying the penalty of us breaking GOD's law but Its always been Grace through faith to be saved or be perfect to GOD In their own strength and no one could be perfect to GOD In their own strength.

I have been witnessing the EU absorbing peole into the various countries' populations from withing the Eu and from much of Africa for many decades, and the past two has stepped up considerable.

Germany had a "gastaribiter" program from the 1950's, perhaps even before of Greeks and Turkish people, of who tens of thousands have assimilated quite well into German society.

Here in Spain there are significant populations of varied immigrant peoples from Romania to South America and from Ireland to China.....no problems here is Spain, and it is ever so refreshing to experience.

There are many "melting pots" around the globe today, and most are quite successfull. One day the wayfarer shall cease, but at present this has not come into being.

Actually there was the annual sacrifice to God for the sins of the previous year. The best sacrifice for those able to afford it was an unblemished Lamb. Jesus lived a sinless life and that made Him the Unblemished Lamb of God. Thus the perfect sacrifice for our sins. It blows my mind that Jesus, God incarnate, knowing the end from the begining started creation knowing the cross was in His future.

America was the original melting pot with people from every country coming here. Not every group was welcomed initially. The Irish were discriminated against initially as well as Eastern European Jews. Western European Jews came first and were accepted. It always eventually went away. Jews are unique in history. All other groups kicked out of their country disappeared from history.

Jesus called them liars and Hypocrites, serpents and children of satan. He said all the blood of the Prophets will be required of them. He said He will gather all that offend and them that "do iniquity" translated as "transgress the Commandments of God" and cast them into a Lake of fire. He held knowledge and the truth from them. He gave them delusions and spoke to them in a manner that would not allow them to hear or see what He was saying so as to he forgiven.

PS has a good question, and a valid one. How do we deal with someone who lies to us and our children about God, or molests our children as "many" preachers have been caught doing.

Even further, who is our enemy? Who is it Jesus and the Prophets and His Apostles had the greatest trouble with? Who was their enemy on earth? Gentiles, heathens? Or those who came in God's Name?

This is a very good question and a good thread for someone to start. Not an easy topic though given the difference between religious doctrines and actual teaching of the Word.

Good question PS.

And i answerd it, and answered how I would forgive those people, if you disagree just say so, and explain why. Otherwise, lets please just stop with the nonsense.

You don't understand. Wait till someone really hurts you and then you will wonder how on earth YOU can love them after they have hurt you so terribly.
1, how do you know no one has really hurt me, you assume things you have no business assuming
(My ex wife kicked me out and move a very close friend in, she then proceded to take everythin I own, keep my kids from me, turn one of them against me, made it so the state took almost all i had in child support, i couod barely get an apartment, and basically caused me to walk away from God for 5 years, so yeah i know what ots like to be hurt dude, you have some nerve how dare you? )

and oh yes, i pray all the time for her to come back to God, it took awhile but i got there, by doing what i tood you I personally needed to do, so you can go on thinking i misunderstood you, thinking no one has ever hurt me, or thinking i have no idea what i am talking about, but you my friend have no clue!

2.if you disagree just say so, like i told your buddy, oherwise stop with he nonsense!

and 3

how about you answer the question, it seems a few people have answered you and you shot them all down, can you answer?

Something occurred to me now and I can actually just smile about it. I sometimes forget that I am speaking to people in a first world country with a different set of moral rules than us here in Africa. You see when you look at the diverse cultures in Africa it will make the hairs on your arm stand on end because the believes are totally different from Western believes.

Like take Ahwatukee and Gabriel20’s (A&G) comments about the law. I will give an example and maybe we can start to agree on certain aspects about law and grace. If I ask A&G will you have sex with your sister, your mother your cousin or nieces? The answer will be (hopefully) No. You are basically adhering to +-20 laws in Torah.

Now, let us ask this question to the guy working in my garden with a whole different set of moral rules and we might just run away. You see in a culture where these things are not frowned upon you need rules. If I give somebody a printed version of the New Testament I could hope that they will understand certain things and that theHoly Spirit will lead them in truth but where is God’s blue print?

Let’s use my gardener again. If I tell him do not rape or whatever he will ask me, why? He is not mature in Christ and without the true guidance of the Spirit because of his traditions, familiar spirits etc. God will not change His character for us. His word his true and without change, and without explaining Western rules to my gardener I can point him to God saying because He said no.

There are very little laws in Torah that cannot be explained and that is why it is so laughable.Every person should at least read Torah before deciding not to adhere to God’s word.

If you loved hose people you would not even think of doing those things to them, no matter what the moral guidelines of any society are, love has no boundaries. And it does not take sides, and it does not serve self.

If we have love, the ten commands do not help, because as jesus said, we can obey the letter (do not commit adultry) yet if we lust in our minds, we have sinned, if we loved the person, we would not lust them ,let alone do the actual physical act, we would not even be tempted, thats why the goal to righteousness is not follwoing the ten commands (if i am thinking of the ten commands when i look at the lady, i am already thinking of fornication, because the word is in my head) it is serving in love and the spirit, if i am just looking to love and serve the lady in the spirit, i will never be tempted.

People ask, how is this so, are there any examples,

tell a child not to get a cookee, what is their first thougts? What can i do to get that cookee, temptation is already here, and the child will do what he can, where as if no5ing was said, the child probably would never have thought about it,

thats why paul said, when the law came sin increased, because it brought with it by its nature temptation.

The USA may have been th e first to coin this expression, I do not know with certainty, but all civilizations since before Babylon have receive peoples they had conquered into their base countries either by free will or by indentured servitude or outright slavery.. The only good thing about slavery in those civilizations is that it was not like the ownership-slavery of modern times but then people could a actually buy their freedom...... Of course this was true of the indentured servants (nice word for slaves) of th colonies of the us ALSO.

The difference being people from all over the world came here of their own free will and paid to get here. Most of the indentured servants paid for their passage by paying it off being an indentured servant for a specified time. Slaves were the only exception. Did you know at one point the indentured servants rebelled because of being fed lobster too often?

Interesting...

I do know that the Bible talks about setting slaves free every 7 years and that every 50 years is the year of Jubilee. That when Jesus read in the Temple certain verses he was proclaiming the year of Jubilee when He first walk this earth. Something the Jews had not celebrated since the first Babylonian captivity and still do not today because they do not accept Jesus as Savior.

There have always been refugees for economic betterment in every civilization and in every country. Contrary to common thinking in many countries, when a person visits France, not all are originall French, as a matter of fact one of ththe lates French ministers was from Cataluya, Hidalgo, tnother, prime minister descended from The the Eastern Block (former) countries, Sarkozy and I believe his model wife was from Italy...lit escapes me for now.

The same holds true for just about all countries i the world. Of course if you take out amicroscope you may find somewhere where al are born in their lands. That would be the exception. My own Great grandfather was from Norway with a Welsh wife......and this goes on and one for most folks.

There have been hordes of economic refugees go through Ellis Island.....this was by necessity not by any political ideal. If opportunity fails for people in a country ad they see great opportunity in another countr, they will immigrate.....They alway shave.

Racism though it exists is very small here.
I would have to disagree. Racism is hidden for the most part and not praises because of the influence of the church, but it's still very alive.
.The kkk...within an hour driving distance there is a house with gallows that have black dummies hanging in their front yard.

In a way the US has made great strides, but intolerance and racism and slavery still exists here.

We can't turn a blind eye and pretend we are already in paradise.

Last year a teenage prositution ring was broken up in our county.

Can you imagine a country where that is a norm and not considered morally offensive?

It goes back to understanding God's laws and His morality and how that affects not only our personal lives but our political views and governmental laws.

James, it is not setting slaves free every seven years. Slavery was a sin from the very beginning. What it does talk about is a person who is willing to be a servant must be obligated for seven years to their masters, before they can depart. And these servants were treated well, and got rewarded after their seven year service was up.

Your ignorance about America is because you don't understand what America is. It is unique being a melting pot with people from all over the world. During our constitutional convention the issue of slavery was raised wanting to outlaw it. The southern states refused to allow that. A statement was made that a bitter result would happen. Our Civil War was the result. 600,000 dead on the north side. 1 in 7 men living in the north at that time. Unknown on the South. That is more dead than all of our other wars combined. Huge bitter pill to swallow. The result permeates this country today. Racism though it exists is very small here.
LOL what ignorance towards America? I didn't say anything about America....... I was giving an example that you can't give your opinion. You can't ask an American about America if he doesn't live there anymore :)

Why not? The person who no longer lives in America still has first-hand experience of America. Since this is the BDF, we can take it to a Scriptural perspective, and say that the person who is saved is allowed to give an opinion on what being unsaved is, even though they no longer live there :)
