What are you planning on doing/getting for you Mom on mothers day this year? What have you done in the past? I need some ideas.
True, I didn't think of that.Well, Sunday being Mother's Day is only in the US, so anyone from most other countries might not even get the question.
And, since my mom died decades ago, I really can't help you past what a young teenager or kid did back in the 1960s and 1970s. lol
Wow, that's cool!I got my mom this shirt with the names of her grandchildren on it. ( not the actual shirt but one like it)

She'll also get flowers and dinner among other things she'll receive from my siblings.
I have no idea what to do myself. I was planning on making her dinner, but she decided on telling me she wasn't interested in anything I had planned for her. I am devastated as I find her attitude very selfish and now I have no clue what to do
I'm sorry that your feeligs were hurt. I don't know the situation between you and your mom but give her a card a hug and or flowers and tell her you love her. Maybe she just doesn't want you to go through any fuss over her. Or maybe she just wanted a quiet day.
When my son asked me what I wanted when he was little, I'd tell him to draw me a picture. When he was a teen and asked, I'd say how about some pancakes. Now that he is an adult, I'd be happy with a phone call or a visit, he always did more anyway though. I never wanted him to spend his money on me, I wanted him to save it or use it for himself.
My mom was the same way with us and I wasn't sure what to do for her either coming up but now I understand why she said what she said.
Be encouraged and I hope you and your Mom have a Happy & Blessed Mother's Day.
