- You can buy a bouquet for the mother.
- You can treat mother as a friend, buy a couple pendant, or a pair of small ornaments.
- You can secretly decorate her room.
- You can also do for the mother to do a table of meals, to be carefully prepared.
- You can buy her a maintenance product, cosmetics.
- You can take her out to travel.
- You can write about an incident, a fun vacation and attach some picture with it too. Post this letter to her.
- You can Prepare a song for her and sing in front of her or you can also send a voice message on Whatsapp.

She wanted me to pick a place, so I asked her to give me a list of options. I am not fussy We could have sushi, or pasta, or even a nice pizza, though pizza seems more of an order-in item. My daughter is far more of a traditionalist than I am If my mother was sill alive, she would be ninety nine years old By the way, Mother's day is not just observed in the US.

I'm sorry that your feeligs were hurt. I don't know the situation between you and your mom but give her a card a hug and or flowers and tell her you love her. Maybe she just doesn't want you to go through any fuss over her. Or maybe she just wanted a quiet day.
When my son asked me what I wanted when he was little, I'd tell him to draw me a picture. When he was a teen and asked, I'd say how about some pancakes. Now that he is an adult, I'd be happy with a phone call or a visit, he always did more anyway though. I never wanted him to spend his money on me, I wanted him to save it or use it for himself.
My mom was the same way with us and I wasn't sure what to do for her either coming up but now I understand why she said what she said.
