French is so beautiful. I wish I could speak it proficiently.
I don't really like French and i blame it on primary and secondary schools... we are forced to learn it... it's even been made a subject on its own except i didn't do it in my senior secondary... i'm more of a spanish person if you haven't noticed.
lol

Me is just me... not sure how to put it though i know what you're asking. Me is probably..... thinking. Lol.

I can't help it... i'm drawn to those stuffs though not the same reason as yours. I try to leave them as they are haunting me now but what can i do.... i have 3/4 unread novels by king and i can't let a novel go by me without knowing the contents. O just don't find anything fun in other types except thrillers and crime.

still thinking about "me".
No one has answered my signature suggestions.
This is "me" to 'me' now...:

[h=1](Galatians 2:20): New International Version (NIV)[/h]20 I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

While I was out with my daughter having our mother's day dinner together, my daughter told me that one of her coworkers asked her what her favorite language was, and thought that an odd question for someone to ask her. We laughed at that, too, even though my daughter spent many years studying Japanese on her own, learning all three alphabets, and was able to understand the spoken and written language quite well, as well as speaking and writing it, too. She also eventually studied it officially in college for a year, and her final mark was 98.6. I was really proud of her for that; she'd had a terrible time in high school, and was really rather floundering afterward, not knowing what to do. All this came out of her love of manga

I studied French in school for a few years, it being mandatory at first, and I chose to carry on with it because I did quite well up to a point, but as they say, "Use it, or lose it." LOL. I was posting yesterday that I think I have an affinity for Latin because there are quite a few recordings I have been really quite fond of over the years that were sung in that language. It may have something to do with the songs largely dealing with spiritual and religious matters, too, that kind of set them apart from regular songs sung in any language. Songs sung in other languages don't grab me the same way :D Also, I was brought up in a religious environment while the mass was performed in Latin.

I'm guessing that ad is old... the movie is already out.... A long time ago... 2016 or 17. I heard it was cool but don't take it from me... anything by king is good to me lol.
I don't know about that becc. Steven King seems to play on phobias. I have long ago abandoned all mine. I get nothing from his films.

Just wanted to say that I'm overwhelmed by all of the positive feedback today. It's very nice of all of you. Thank you all so much. It really does mean a lot to me and I feel a thousand times better. It's awesome to connect with others in Christ. ♥♥♥ Thank you all so much. (hugs)
You are quite welcome and hugs back at ya!

I love hearing the French language being sung, in particular. ♥
I am with you there, I always liked the old films Irma La Douce and Milan Rouge.

That is the new "me" but to say the me i unconsciously meant...... not sure if this confuses more or not but "me" is my person.

I have a very strange taste in some things.... fear is exactly the point of horror and i am trying to be less of a fan of horror, his books a usually disturbing like the one i'm reading now but those are the only things that can grab "me" and keep me interested. Not a fan of fantasy, despise romance, second interests are thriller and crime which in some ways are close to horror.
Get it now?

That was beautiful - harder than snot to read in purple but beautiful nonetheless....LOL ( I just made myself laugh - that's so rare)...

Horror is my least favorite genre for movies or fiction. I think it was Silence of The Lambs I was watching once, and the suspense was too much for me at one point, and I had to turn it off for a bit :D I know that is not horror, just the horror of the human psyche twisted beyond what the rest of us find acceptable. It was the suspense tinged with the expectation of harm and disaster I could not stand. I cannot watch true horror films. They just freak me out too much.

Steven King's The Shining would be the classic example I could point to for that :D Some people find that one small potatoes compared to others, but for me it was and forever shall remain the ultimate spooky film, because I just don't watch that genre knowing how it affects me, but I did see that one when it first came out in the theaters  I did enjoy Stephen King's The Stand, though. That was the first book of his I read :) After I read The Dead Zone, I asked myself, "Now why did I do that?" LOL :D

I just lent my Kindle Paperwhite to a co-worker who is going to Europe for a couple of weeks. I had to put that down a few years ago(?) because when I was using it, I was reading about three or four books a week., which seemed a bit much. Not that it was the device's fault, or anything ;) Once I delve into a good book, it is hard for me to put it down :D

I know how it feels. The first big book i read was the four kids and it.... it being a psamed (not sure avout the spelling) and i just couldn't drop it.
The shining wasn't at all scary... i was surprised when i saw it as a recommendation for horror. I couldn't even finish it..... to boring. I tried reading the book but it was slow so i gave it up.
I'm tryna think of the scariest film i have ever watched.

Now that I am back, guess what..., so many ketchups to ketchup that I am very confuzzled. Not knowing where to start ketchupping, I think I need to ketchup with sleep first.
That said goodnight. Its wonderful to be back again
Glory be to God, je vous aimes
I'll be ketchup on sleep soon too. It's been a rough 5 days at work and I am tired and feel drained. A good night's sleep should do wonders.

I used to be an avid reader and would read a book a week. The last few years I haven't read hardly at all but last year I did manage to read 3 books. I supposed that if I gave up CC for awhile that would free up a large chunk of time to devote to reading again. The thing is I love this site and being with my peeps here.

Being psamed? I do not know what you mean by that, sorry Becc  Oh the movie The Shining yeah no I could not stand it. The element of the supernatural added a layer to it that made it unbearable for me. I laugh to think to myself, yeah, I only like friendly ghosts, and then my thinking goes to the supernatural and how people think it is harmless to explore and it is all shiny and attractive and draws you in and people get sucked in thinking oh how cool is this when Satan is behind it all deceiving people. Oops. Detour
