So, the question from mcubed is "Can God die?" Cee answered that, "God did die but can no longer because He is glorified."

I've slept on this question and pondered it very much.......

The scriptures that came to my mind were when Jesus said, "No one takes my life from Me. I lay it down and I can take it back again."

So, yes, God can die, if He chooses to do so, however, dying is not and "end of existence" so, God just simply moves His Presence from one "place to another."

When Jesus "gave up the ghost" and "died" - He left His physical body on Earth. He removed His Presence from His body and the Father removed His Presence from Jesus so Jesus would be separated from the Father for a short period of time.

After 3 days, Jesus' Presence re-entered His body and wa-la - Resurrection Day! Then, Jesus was to ascend to the Father and be reunited. Then, return to earth and be reunited with His disciples on Earth in Galilee.

This resurrection body of Jesus is now immortal which means it cannot die nor be separated from Jesus - which is the point that Cee was making - an excellent point, by the way!

Great question! What are your thoughts, mcubed?! Please share! This is a powerful subject! :)

I almost agree with you. No G-d cannot die but man can. Yet there lies the rub... As a Jew I KNOW G-d cannot die and a non-Jew like Christians they think He can... (not you personally just wanted to thru in one of the great divides if you ever witness to a Jew) . Now it's a big mess. We know G-d stepped out of heaven while still stil sitting on His throne form OT Scripture. So, G-d stepping out of heaven and being 100% Man yet still in heaven G-d really is not a far stretch. G-d can never die; what would happen to all of creation only He hold together!?! Y-shua proved to be G-d. Y-shua proved to be man. And this is salvation... BY FAITH!!!! As much as I know Him, and like the Scriptures say, "Let me know you more".... I understand I will never, in this life understand, ALL THE "OMENIES" OF G-D!!!! What it boils down to for me is I BELIEVE HIS WORD IS INERRANT AND INFALLIBLE. I by faith believe He is 100%, who died, 100% G-d, who still sat upon His throne doing His G-d thing even when the human Messiah (part) died and died for 3 days. Let me really blow your mind I even believe there was a 3rd Person of "the G-d head" in all of this too (according to Scripture). I understand a lot, but I do not need to understand it all, I believe the TRUTH.... AND THE TRUTH HAS SET ME FREE!!!! ALL 66 BOOKS, as is ARE INFALLIBLE AND INERRANT AND I SIMPLY BELIEVE EVERY LETTER ON EVERY PAGE !!!!

Yes, now My Lord sits next to my Lord!!! Y-shua 100% Man, 100% G-d is sitting next to G-d on the Throne!!! Is that a mind blower or what? It blows my mind but my faith... I BELIEVE HIM!!!

I decided to answer because grammatically your view and application of nothing is misapplied....nothing is not applied to what is revealed in JESUS Christ, but rather is applied unto those things in CREATION and the fact that NOTHING that is in creation can separate us from the LOVE of GOD<---the LOVE that is revealed to us IN CHRIST JESUS.....

nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

And I am at peace for sure.........Jesus is in control and he will never fail..... ;)
The first thing I don't doubt is that God will never fail, and that is because I know Him well. Your logic is just that, but suffice it to say I too would quote the Scripture you did as well: I just wouldn't unhighlight any part of it is all. If you rest in His peace as your own - then we shall go in peace together - in Christ - yay?!

What nationality, hated by the Jews, provided the "good guy" character in Jesus' parable of a man beaten by robbers?
Samaritan which were mixed breed Jews....
Correct! :)

The history of Samaria in the Bible is very interesting. I really enjoyed reading about how God sent wild animals in there until they brought back priests that would worship the God of the Hebrews in that city.

Wasn't their a high priest in the old testament that they meet on a hill. There is speculation as to whether it was Jesus on earth back than. I'm gonna have to Google this... but I'll refrain from posting what I find. Lol
And of course, as already mentioned. JESUS

Okay, so far my answer is.....

1 - Jesus is both King and High Priest
2 - Believers are a "Royal Priesthood" which is kings and priests
3 - ?

Anybody, jump in and help me out with this one!! What's the 3rd "person?"
