Yeah, those flirting CC threads made for quite a courtship giving a lot a peeps quite a treat for what we made public or were contemplating. After about a month though there was a lot of resentment from some of the single peeps and they started to criticize us for our public displays of affection.

I loved that Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Heart's Club Band thread where we would sing songs to each other to display our feelings. I guess we had our 15 minutes of CC fame.

I'm always thrilled to see CC peeps find love on this site although it seems to be a rare thing. Also, a lot of peeps are really afraid to truly express their thoughts here because of lack of trust and vulnerability issues. To me, this is what this place is all about, everyone here is very real to me and I try to share little snippets of myself to let those that care know who I am and what I am about.

I fell in love through the aid of this site and I just wanted to share my excitement and joy. JesusLives feels the same way and is more than willing to share the adventure of how we came together and the physical and spiritual journey of our married life.

I'm sure that there are others as well who are willing to take a chance on romance, trusting in God to search and find the one of their heart's desire.

Many such journey's are possible.
So lovely your story, bless you

Actually, a wise thing to do, even with a power strip your electronics can get fried. My wife lost a TV during a lightning strike once. Me, I usually just take my chances because that's the way that I roll 'em. :)
Yeah...that's actually true if the lightning hits the ground right around, very close to your house...I had that happen and even in the surge protectors all my stuff got fried. In fact, with that kind of near strike, the electrical system was never quite right afterwards. Electronics never lasted as long as they should have because it did some mysterious thing to the system...

But you can live more dangerously when you have homeowners insurance to cover it. :D

I remember those days. But the resentment people had wasn't due to your relationship but that the pair of you, and another new couple, both flooded the singles with post after post. It seemed every thread devolved into one, or both, of the couples taking over to talk about the relationship or flirt.
People began voicing that complaint and both couples flatly ignored them for a while until the complaints finally became enough to sink in.
If I recall the other couple was worse about it. Bit no one resented the relationships or you being public about it, they resented the flood of posts and the loss if the singles forum to two couples.

I remember that thread, the Adventures of TinTin and Arlene. I believe that she rejoined the site under a new name is recently married. No, not to TinTn, apparently that didn't work out so well.

Well Mel, I just went back looking for a post where you asked me something. I went all the way back to where you signed out to go to bed last night. Sorry, I didn't find one. Maybe you should ask me again. Here is some love your way anyway. small-red-heart_blk-outln.png
