Being single has it’s pros as well.

You don’t have to share donuts. ;)

When being single starts to feel like a bad thing,
I just spend more time around the crazy women at my church...

then being single seems like a good thing again.
: )
For real! There are certain ladies at work who... well, they aren't ladies. There are certain women at work who make me downright cheerful about being single. Sure I haven't found a good wife yet, but thank the Lord I'm not married to one like THAT! Sometimes I clock out in a good mood, just because I'm so glad I am single.

Where is the multi-quote button? I could have saved a post and replied to this one while I was replying to Maxwel's post.

Being single has a lot of upsides. One of them is I am not responsible for somebody else worrying about me. For example I am exercising on a bicycle, with the goal of building up to biking to work every day. Work is 15 miles away. If I had a wife she would be going nuts about this. As I am single, I don't have to worry about all the worrying she would do.

I was married for 36 of my 72 years. Sixteen the first time and twenty the second. They should have a merit badge or something. Hahahaha...

You at least deserve a Purple Heart. My history in marriage is a little shaky too.

First - 6 years, 6 months (divorce)
Second - 11 years, 2 months (death of spouse)
Third - 3 years, 6 months (currently happily married)

That adds up to being married 21 of my 63 years. That is 1/3 of my life. You and I are certainly not novices on marriage.

There will not be a fourth wife.

Yes tourist, one thing I did well was played the role of husband and father. Even my two step-kids still look at me as dad. They were 12 and 10 when I came into their lives. I must have done something right.

I'm sure that you did a lot of things right, same as myself.

Hahahaha That is probably a great idea! Also, I babysit for my sister and I love her kids, but it sure helps me want to wait to have any! ?
NOOOO you gotta have liie 40 kids so they can have like 5 a piece then you'll have like 200 grandkids and you'll repopulate the world with God fearing babies?
