yes, I do. the Words in Red. the Apostles letters.

I have read the O.T. many times through, it is fine, but was for Israel only. the N.T. is for the whole world, as Jesus said in John 3 16.

are you one of the ones who think there is no new Covenant , but a renewed Covenant?
That's not even close to a part of them, here is a link to see them all.
http://www.bible.ca/b-canon-old-testament-quoted-by-jesus-and-apostles.htm

Duet 11:26,28
26 See, I am setting before you today a blessing and a curse:

27 the blessing, when you obey the commands of YHVH your Elohim which I command you today;

28 and the curse, if you do not obey the commands of YHVH your Elohim, but turn aside from the way which I command you today, to go after other mighty ones which you have not known.

John 14:24
He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Fathers which sent me.

If God is the same yesterday , today and will be tomorrow.
How can we say he has a different set of rules for different people?

Jesus did not come and teach something new, he came and taught the ways of his Father who sent him.

Acts 10:34 Then Peter began to speak: "I now realize how true it ...
... And Peter opening his mouth, said: In very deed I perceive,
that God is not a respecter of persons. ...

They where constantly quoting the Torah and profits

John 3:34
“For He whom Elohim has sent speaks the Words of Elohim, for Elohim does not give the Spirit by measure.

OK The word Torah was translated law in English.
The Torah is the first 5 books of the Bible

Cain and Able obviously knew some Torah because they knew how to give sacrifices.

And Moses Penned Most of the Torah. That's why he said it came through Moses.

definition of Torah- the Law of God as revealed to Moses and recorded in the first five books of the Bible.

so, I am correct in saying Torah is the Law.

also, just so you know, the word Elohim can gods ( plural ). or deity. so, since you deny Trinity, you might not want to use that word..

also, no answer to the question - new or renewed Covenant.

for someone who is " here to learn " ( your words ), you sure do lecture a lot.

If God does not change, neither will His Law. “My covenant I will not break, nor alter the word that has gone out of My lips” (Psalm 89:34). “I know that everything God does will endure forever; nothing can be added to it and nothing taken from it” (Ecclesiastes 3:14). “The works of his hands are faithful and just; all his precepts are trustworthy. They are steadfast for ever and ever, done in faithfulness and uprightness” (Psalm 111:7, 8).

God gave His Law to the Israelites at Mt. Sinai. Amid thunder and lightning, a thick cloud covered the mountain, and a trumpet blasted. Smoke billowed up as from a furnace and the whole mountain shook as the trumpet grew louder and louder. Moses led the Israelites out of their camp to meet with God, and every one of them trembled. Then God spoke (Exodus 19:16-19, 20:1). If this Law were to be changed, it would be reasonable to expect God Himself to announce it, and give reasons for its alteration, amid the same amount of ceremony. Yet there is no indication in Scripture of such an announcement.

In the New Testament, the seventh day of the week is called the Sabbath; it is mentioned 58 times. The first day of the week is mentioned eight times. It is simply called the first day of the week, and it is always differentiated from the Sabbath. This in itself is evidence for the continued validity of the seventh-day Sabbath.

The gospel writers record Jesus and the apostles going to the synagogue on Sabbath as their “custom” (Luke 4:16 ). Jesus said, “I have kept My Father’s commandments” (John 15:10). The women who went to anoint His body after his death “rested on the Sabbath according to the commandment” (Luke 23:56). Nearly all of the incidents reported of the apostles’ preaching occurred on the seventh-day Sabbath. Of all the accusations the Jews made against the apostles, never once did they accuse the apostles of breaking the Sabbath.

Some teach that after Christ’s death and resurrection, the Old Testament law was done away with and a new covenant took its place. But Jesus Himself said, “Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled” (Matthew 5:17, 18). The law of Moses, which foreshadowed Christ’s sacrifice, was indeed made irrelevant, but Paul maintains that the Law of God is to be kept, though we now be under grace. “Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid; yea, we establish the law” (Romans 3:31).

How It Happened...

Yet for nearly 2,000 years now, millions of Christians have worshiped on Sunday. So was the Sabbath changed from the seventh to the first day of the week? Let’s look at the “yes” now.

“The Son of Man is Lord also of the Sabbath” (Luke 6:5). Here Jesus staked His claim and forbade anyone to meddle with the Sabbath. Yet He knew there would be those who would claim the power to change God’s Law. Through Daniel he warned of just such a man. Describing a “little horn power” (Daniel 7:8), Daniel says, “He will speak against the Most High and oppress his saints and try to change the set times and the laws” (Daniel 7:25). Paul made a similar prediction: “Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God, or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God” (2 Thessalonians 2:3, 4, 7).

Paul warned that this blasphemy was already at work, and that it would come not from an outside influence, but from within the church (2 Thessalonians 2:7, Acts 20:28-30). Sure enough, not long after Paul’s day, apostasy appeared in the church.

About 100 years before Christianity, Egyptian Mithraists introduced the festival of Sunday, dedicated to worshiping the sun, into the Roman Empire. Later, as Christianity grew, church leaders wished to increase the numbers of the church. In order to make the gospel more attractive to non-Christians, pagan customs were incorporated into the church’s ceremonies. The custom of Sunday worship was welcomed by Christians who desired to differentiate themselves from the Jews, whom they hated because of the Jews’ rejection of the Savior. The first day of the week began to be recognized as both a religious and civil holiday. By the end of the second century, Christians considered it sinful to work on Sunday.

The Roman emperor Constantine, a former sun-worshiper, professed conversion to Christianity, though his subsequent actions suggest the “conversion” was more of a political move than a genuine heart change. Constantine named himself Bishop of the Catholic Church and enacted the first civil law regarding Sunday observance in A.D. 321.

On the venerable day of the sun let the magistrate and people residing in cities rest, and let all workshops be closed. In the country however, persons engaged in agricultural work may freely and lawfully continue their pursuits; because it often happens that another day is not so suitable for grain growing or for vine planting; lest by neglecting the proper moment for such operations the bounty of heaven should be lost. —Schaff’s History of the Christian Church, vol. III, chap. 75.

Sure enough, not long after Paul’s day, apostasy appeared in the church.
What historians say, and what they call the lost century in history.

as Edward Gibbon wrote in
The History of the decline and fall of the Roman Empire

"The scanty materials of ecclesiastical history seldom enable us
to dispel the cloud that hangs over the first age of the church .

-
Jesse Lyman Hurlbert in
The story of the christian church

the age just after the book of acts he calls "..the age of shadows.."
"of all the periods in the churches history, it is the one about which we know
the least about. For fifty years after St. Paul's life a curtain hangs over the church,
through which we strive vainly to look;

-
William McLaughlin in
The Course of Christian History

"But Christianity itself had been in the process of transformation as it progressed
and at the close of the period was in many respects quite different from the apostolic
Christianity."

-
Samuel G. Green in
A handbook of church History

"The thirty years which followed the close of the New Testement canon and the
destruction of Jerusalem, are in truth the most obscure in the history of the church.
When we emerge in the second century, we are to a great extent in a changed world."

-
William fitzgerald in
lectures on ecclesiastical History

"over this period of transition, which immediatly succeeds upon
the era properly called apostolic, great obscurity hangs."

-
Philip Schaff in
History of the Christian Church

"The remaining thirty years of the first century are involved in mysterious darkness,
illuminated only by the writings of John. This is a period of church history about which
we know least and would like to know most."

"Simon Magus unquestionably adulterated Christianity with pagon ideas and practices
and gave himself out for an emanation of God."

"This heresy in the second century spread over the whole church, east and west,
in the various schools of agnosticism."

-
Satan was doing everything he could to destroy the Work of God, and in
little more than two decades, God’s people were turning to another gospel.
This was the time of the Roman Empire , and in around 117 AD, at its greatest extent.
streched from Britian clear to modern day Turkey, and it ruled with the rod of iron.

-
I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you
into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:

Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years
I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears.

Brit milah - Wikipedia
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brit_milah
Mohel. A mohel is a Jew trained in the practice of brit milah, the "covenant of circumcision."According to traditional Jewish law, in the absence of a grown free Jewish male expert, anyone who has the required skills is also authorized to perform the circumcision, provided that he or she is Jewish.

The traditional Jewish law is in reference to the Talmud
What "traditional Jewish law" says is quite irrelevant. Paul was addressing those who tried to put gentile Christians under the Mosaic Law. The council in Acts 15 was addressing exactly this issue, not the issue of man-made rules (Talmud). Jesus Himself made it clear that man-made rules were irrelevant.

So, once again, Judaizers are those who were trying (and are still today trying) to enforce the Law of Moses on gentile Christians. We are not subject to the Mosaic Law; our relationship with God is solely through Jesus Christ. Anyone who tries to add elements of the Law to Christ must obey the entire Law, as Paul says in Galatians 5. If you think you must observe Sabbath to be right in God's sight, then you must also observe Pesach, stoning, sacrificing bulls and goats, etc. It's an all-or-nothing deal.

This is a significant misunderstanding, and the blame for it is widespread. Simply put, nobody changed Sabbath to Sunday, for nobody has the power to do so. Christians worshiping on Sunday is a convention only, not a Law (as is Sabbath for Israel). The fact that many Christians call Sunday "the Sabbath" is unfortunate ignorance and bad teaching. Sunday worship has nothing to do with Jewish (Israelite) Sabbath. The only correlation is that Christians tend to observe Sunday as a day of rest, which is the Sabbath principle. However, observance of Sunday as a day of rest (or a day of worship) is in no way required in Scripture.

OK I'm going to make a bold statement, It is NOT my intent to offend anyone or imply anyone is a pagan. Just to get us to think about whats going on. Knowing the origins of Easter https://www.britannica.com/topic/Easter-holiday
How can we celibate Easter when it is clearly a pagan practice not seeing anything about eggs and bunny's in the Bible?
Isn't it a replay of the golden calf incident? They where not worshiping the calf. They where worshiping God with the calf.
"Aron said let us make a feast to the LORD" paraphrasing.
how can we celibrate easter when it is clealy pagan ? Because easter is not pagan. The word is found in the Book of Acts .

I do not hate the Sabbath . the truth is simple- gentiles were never commanded to keep it.

what I do not like is the made up story that Jesus rose on the Sabbath. sorry, not true.

jews did not count days like we do. I'll go over it again- Jesus died on thur. ( 1 ). was in the tomb on the Sabbath. ( 2 ). Sabbath ENDED at sundown on sat. the women did not go to the tomb till " early on the morning on the first day of week" ( 3 ). ( Jesus rose sometime during the night,).

nowhere does it say 72 hours. Sabbath has 0 to do with salvation. if you or anyone chooses to keep it , that is fine. just do not try to compel others to do so.
I have never once told you we are commanded to keep Sabbath...it is entirely FREE WILL...as I have said many times....why don't you HEAR me ???

Why would the Sabbath-resurrection be made up when the scriptures show you the simple MATHS required to reach the right time and day. Of course it does not have to say 72 hours but 3 daytimes of 12 hours each =36 and the same for nights=36 hours WHICH IS SCRIPTURAL Nor have I ever said Sabbath is essential for salvation.....BUT OBEDIENE IS !!! How are you hoping to get saved while being DISobedient to your SAVIOUR Heb 5v9.
We are each to 'work out our own salvation....so it is your own choice.
Scripture also says when you see your brother in error we are to help him....but if you don't want it I'll say no more !!!

Exodus 31:12-18
12 And YHVH spoke to Moses, saying,

13“And you, speak to the children of Yisra’ĕl, saying, ‘My Sabbaths you are to guard, by all means, for it is a sign between Me and you throughout your generations, to know that I, YHVH, am setting you apart.

14‘And you shall guard the Sabbath, for it is set-apart to you. Everyone who profanes it shall certainly be put to death, for anyone who does work on it, that being shall be cut off from among his people.

15‘Six days work is done, and on the seventh is a Sabbath of rest, set-apart to YHVH. Everyone doing work on the Sabbath day shall certainly be put to death.

16‘And the children of Yisra’ĕl shall guard the Sabbath, to observe the Sabbath throughout their generations as an everlasting covenant.

17‘Between Me and the children of Yisra’ĕl it is a sign forever. For in six days YHVH made the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day He rested and was refreshed.’ ”

18And when He had ended speaking with him on Mount Sinai, He gave Mosheh two tablets of the Witness, tablets of stone, written with the finger of Elohim.

In this passage God is VERY clear on the Sabbath and wrote it with his own finger.

Where exactly is scripture does he change this?

Isaiah 45:17
But Israel will be saved by the LORD with an everlasting salvation; you will never be put to shame or disgraced, to ages everlasting.

Shouldn't we want to become Israel? That's what the nationalization and grafting in process is all about.

also, just so you know, the word Elohim can gods ( plural ). or deity.
so, since you deny Trinity, you might not want to use that word..
Ephesians 3:9 says, “…God, who created all things by Jesus Christ.”
That God is the Creator, but He created all things through the Word,
or Spokesman, the one who later became Jesus Christ.

Genesis 1:1: “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.”
Yes The Hebrew word translated ‘God’ is Elohim—a noun or name,
plural in form, but normally singular in grammatical usage.

It is the same sort of word as family, church, group—one family consisting
of two or more members—one church composed of many members
—one group of several persons.

“And God [Elohim] said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness…”
God said, “Let us”... after our likeness…”—more than one.

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God…”
God, who created all things by Jesus Christ”—more than one!

After Adam rebelled against God, notice what Elohim said in Genesis 3:22:
“And the Lord God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us..

Here, God not only says “us,” He says “one of us”! One of the “us”
was God the Father and the other one of the “us” was the Word.
If there was just one deity, why would one deity say to Himself, “ONE of us”?

-
“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory,
the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”verse 14:

His life was worth more than all other human beings combined.

“The Word, then, is a Personage who was made flesh—begotten by God,
who through this later begettal became His Father, and the Word became his Son.

Yet at that prehistoric time of the first verse of John 1, the Word was not (yet)
the Son of God. He divested himself of His glory as a spirit divinity to be
begotten as a human person. He was made God’s Son, through being begotten
or sired by God and born of the virgin Mary.

God and the Word, became now the Father and Son

When the Word was “made flesh,” He became the Son! At this point, He was
the begotten Son of God, not yet born. Luke 1:35: “…that holy thing which shall
be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.” When the Word became the Son,
then obviously, God became the Father!

In Hebrews 7:3 it refers to the One who became Jesus Christ as being
“[w]ithout father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of
days, nor end of life.…” The Word lived in harmony with God for all eternity.

Neither of them had a beginning. verse 3:
“…but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually.”

When Jesus died, He was in the grave three days and three nights (Matthew 12:40)
the second person of the Godhead—Emmanuel—God with us—God made human
flesh—was dead!”

that Christ had given up His immortal life inherent in divine glory
and been converted into human mortality for the purpose of death.

the same God who made the Word flesh also raised Jesus Christ from the dead!
After His death, Jesus Christ was resurrected as the firstborn Son of God in this fashion.

-
Romans 1:4 (KJV)
And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness,
by the resurrection from the dead:- thus becoming the FIRSTBORN OF ALL CREATION

Rom 8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed
to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

1 Corinthians 15:20
But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.

do you not see the double speak here? Sabbath is not required for salvation BUT obedience is. thereby making Sabbath keeping required for salvation.

no, I need no help, I can see through this deception just fine. not to mention, gentiles were never told to keep the Sabbath. not one N.T. command says so.

really what does the word Easter refer to in Acts ? do not words have systematic range of meaning ? is not the word Easter in context to a day observed known as "Passover" ? And the context of Easter in the Christian Church has been for some time now in direct remembrance to the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ.

That's what the nationalization and grafting in process is all about.
you guys all operate the same- show up pretending to just be asking questions, then you start to lecture, then, as you did above, go full Hebrew roots propaganda.

But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.
maybe you should be clear as to who you are saying is denying the trintity . Because you are not speaking to me .

Simply put, nobody changed Sabbath to Sunday, for nobody has the power to do so.
Other than the Lord Jesus Christ Himself, who gave the original sabbath commandment!

You seem to have missed the point. The purpose of the sabbath was primarily total avoidance of daily labor, but it was more than that. It was supposed to be a day dedicated (sanctified) to God. Which ultimately made it a day of worship for Jews who attended synagogues on sabbath days.

But Christ went one major step further. He deliberately healed on sabbath days to show the Jews that good works done on the sabbath were consistent with God's concept of the sabbath.

Furthermore He Himself declared that He was Lord of the sabbath, which meant that He had the divine right to determine the meaning of the sabbath. God had already allowed the priests to work on sabbath days, meaning that spiritual and godly activity was perfectly acceptable on the sabbath.

So the PRINCIPLES of sabbath-keeping were transferred to the Lord's Day (which is the first day of the week, and which we call Sunday incidentally). Christ arose on the first day of the week (not on the preceding sabbath, since the sabbath was also God's day of rest in the beginning, and the first fruits, which were a type of Christ, were offered on the morrow AFTER the sabbath). And because of His resurrection, and the fact that He was worshiped by His apostles on that day, the Christian day of worship has been rightly termed "the Christian sabbath".

Sabbatarians today denigrate the Lord's Day, which in itself is a sin. Secondly they forget that the sabbath was given to Israel, and along with the sabbath the entire Mosaic Law must be obeyed (which they cannot do even if they tried). Thirdly, they also forget that when the Gentiles were given instructions about which commandments in the Law of Moses were still applicable to them, SABBATH-KEEPING WAS EXCLUDED.
