I'll admit I certainly don't understand what gays have to be proud of, I'd rather see a gay shame day, honestly. I just wanted to high light the inequality in public point of view. Being gay is no more disgusting than having sex with anyone we are not married to.

Well, you must have missed the point. Except for national security reasons, A President lying to the constituants or cheating on his wife should be a crime, especially the lying part, it's fraud. There is no law on our books that I know of against adultery. If same sex, sexual relationships should be outlawed, then so should adultery. I would be in favor of banning both or neither.
I can't undo what's going on in the country or racisim or homophobia, I'd just like people to think. Stormy Daniels gets paid to have sex on camera. That makes her a whore and the only reason I care is because many find it more acceptable than other sins that other people do that are obvious in the sight of men and God.
People are easily distracted and those in power love to use red herrings to do it with. Just an example 3000 aliens crossed the border illegaily, Wow the equavelant of an L.A. High Schools number of kids jumped the border while thousands of people go on government assistance so they can keep working a WAL MART. I think we should be more offended at that. Not even Bernie Sanders is that socialist!
Actually, adultery is considered a crime in several states even though it is not enforced. Adultery is considered a crime also in the Uniform Code Of Military Justice and it is absolutely enforced by court-martial.

No doubt...many more on the way....we don't support drunkards, murderers, liars,(except Hillary and Bill. LOL), etc., why should there be any support for the sinful gay mind set?...treatment...yes...not support and acceptance. They should be morally condemned as with other sinful types. Christians have a tendency to tip toe around the problem. That approach has a tendency to be received as support in their minds. I doubt G-d appreciates that from the Christian.
We are reminded there is no PC in scriptures.
So, what is the plan? Create laws to have them put in jail with the drunkards, muderers & liars?
Better than Islam that tosses them off of the roofs of multi story buildings.
Jail will not rectify the behavior. Teaching them the bible from a young age and keeping child predators out of the school system would be a corrective step that if it is bathed in the prayer of the righteous may demonstrate Gods mercy toward the ungodly.

Somehow Christians think that Homosexuality is the only abominable sin. There are plenty more, and as you have mentioned, if they are going to go after the Gay people, they should do the same for the sexually immoral in other categories, for the cheats (including the white lies in tax returns), and pretty much any other sin.
News Flash: Homosexuality is not the only "sin" being promoted in the mainstream.
The only trouble with that plan is we don't live in a Christian nation. Agnosticism, Pantheism, consumerism and Narcissism is what the majority practice while giving lip service to mostly whatever denomination they belong to. It's illegal to spank children in most states now but abortion is more accepted?
If you think this is a christian nation think again. This is a nation with christians in it. That's all.
I merely provided a reasonable solution not that I believe it could ever work for all the reasons you express. The fact remains that Christians do not depend on the government to produce righteousness. Christians know that only belief in Christ can produce righteousness and without righteousness there will only be inequity and strife.
