A whole 37 hours you say....the first "1st" time I taught through it, it took 2 years of Sunday nights <---just to scan the book......
So did you see the PROPHECY in the book, or just Not in first three chapters? I see is as ALL PROPHECY beginning with real Churches and symbolizing the ENTIRE CHURCH HISTORY, and then BEYOND. And You think it is JUST a coincidence that CHURCH HISTORY, was in the Same ORDER as the letters to the Churches? And how come HE singled them out and NOT OTHER CHURCHES? Amazing, Coincidence, don't you think?

I don't believe that they represent church history because on the planet right now we have ALL 7 of those churches found within the ranks of the Lord's churches....they accurately represent the types of churches that will be on the planet from the 1st church to the last church....I, "through friends" who pastor churches in like 15 different states and a handful of countries, know of small, poor faithful churches, rich churches that are doing every program under the sun with no real love for the Lord, churches that have allowed women to run them, churches that have people conquerors in them, churches that are a church in name only, etc....At any time frame on the planet you can find a good sampling of the 7 addressed in Revelation and the entire book is not prophetic....

The things that were, are and yet to come....it contains both past, present and future context....

And I do believe the entire book spans from the time of JOHN, all the way to the end of time, making it Prophetic book. And the Church that is me the Most Dominate today, is the Laodicean Church. So we have our first "agree to disagree" subject. When we know as we are known, we will see who is right, not before then.

That is a leftist view.....it would end if you and others would acknowledge scriptures which deny OSAS....wanna do that?

G-d's word will prevail.

Actually, that is a scriptural view. Jesus said that He has not lost a single one that the Heavenly Father has given to him. Either Jesus died on the cross as the penalty for our sins or He didn't. Yes, God's word will prevail.

Didn't say that at all...why the spin...to you being disingenuous ?
Deal with scriptures. The Bible tells us Christ gave His life on the Cross for forgivenss of our sins...you know that.

It is ours to comply with receiving such great graceful forgiveness requirements.

"It is ours to comply with receiving such great graceful forgiveness requirements" seems to ME that works are involved when you say "comply with fogiveness requirement"?

Thank you tourist, "God's word will prevail." True Christians have an abundance of "Good Works" but this is evidence of a saved life, not the cause of a saved life.

God's Plan of Eternal Salvation;

Romans8:29,30
29)
For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.
30) And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.

Could I trouble you to read a tract defending OSAS. http://www.justforcatholics.org/a72.htm I was shocked to read that "many" have a false assurance of salvation. My question is that do you really know until you are on your deathbed if you have persevered to the end.

I have no problem that a person who says they are born again, and live the way Christ lived, or at least gives it the good try, and has the kind of faith Jesus had and the kind of charity (includes good works) that Christ had, and this person can believe that they are OASA.

But when a person who one year declares they have been born again, and then in 2 years falls out of love with Jesus and in fact begins to fight against Jesus, this person is not OSAS.

Hi Metternich, your link was a good read from a, "Former Catholic", does this mean you are a former Catholic as well? Also the Apostle John writes that yes we can know that we have "eternal life" today.

1John5:13
I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so "that you may know that you have eternal life."
