I'm not necessarily endorsing the Church here but rather the enthusiasm that comes from the Joy of the Lord which gives us strength to do His will over our own.

I am led to say that we as Christians must understand the subtlties of Satans approach as well.
Satan will try and make us do moral acts, which humans are capable of, but in the natural flesh and not in and thru the Spirit of God. This is a misnomer in God's economy - for there is no value that comes except thru the Holy Spirits inspiration and guise and empowerment.
Spiritual goodness is Christ embarked and maintained in us relationally - we must await His revelations and timings and empowerments in all things thru the Holy Spirit and the properly aligned, then, relationship to God thru His Son via the HS thru Righteousness will give birth to spiritual gain via God's commission.
Let us be enthusiastic about our relationship thru death to life in Him and never see fleshly good acts as spiritual gain!

High's around 90 F / 32 C.
Probably hit low to mid 90's for average high in the next week. This will last for several months until mid October. Usually around that time occasional cold fronts come through dropping the temp about 10 degrees and with lower humidity. The heat and humidity in Florida drains you as it last for months. Not too many thunderstorms the past few years either to cool things down.
We do have A/C in the home but keep the thermostat at 78 to reduce electricity bill. A/C in car works good.
