Interesting way to look at it!!

I do believe we must be selective about which church we do go to, that is if we do go. And I firmly believe many pastors don't know enough truth to lead and feed their flock.

I used to joke, if we taxed the church and ministers, we would find out who is actually in it for their faith. It would be those ministers whom I would love to hear preach!!
Good joke . This is the problem with the pastors -1Cor:2:14 The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit.
They are spiritually lacking, because they are under another covering. a religious spirit. That's what Paul means when he said to the men, not to cover their heads. They are blocking the Holy Spirit and are spiritually illiterate.

People who attend Church says it is biblical to attend Church every Sunday, but it's not.
Did you bother to read Heb. 10:25?

With that said, my mom has MS and is 78 years old, she watches church on TV. So if you are almost 80, in diapers (having someone clean your butt, like me), and cannot walk I'm sure it is Biblical to not "attend " church every Sunday; but you have the old and crippled putting you to shame, before G-d, if you're not watching it on TV and participating in praise in worship....

Your posts bleed arrogance and self-righteousness. May your humbling be gentle.

There is only one Church per city. All these local churches were formed to keep people from the knowledge of God. To keep them in infancy. Satan is very clever. He has succeeded.
Satan has only succeeded for NOW being called the god of this world 2 Cor 4v4. But GOD is still doing HIS work taking SOME people out of it !!!
Not all the world is destined for the FIRST resurrection, the majority have to wait and will be dealt with later.

'Sunday church' started with people MEETING together after the ORIGINAL Disciples were persecuted and killed. UNGodly men had infiltrated the original Believers/Sabbath-keepers and causing the split between Jew and Gentile.Acts chapters 13-17.
Paul the Apostle to the gentiles never taught sunday observance....it started with the people themselves, was never official. It found acceptance because of all the 'strife and hatred between them....which is sadly still practiced today.

Why not? Sunday -- properly the first day of the week -- is the Lord's Day. Study the matter.

You are mistaken in that. Study the New Testament.

If you wish to be a Sabbatarian, that's fine. But don't assert that worship on the Lord's Day was not a Christian practice while the apostles were alive.

You are preaching something that has no biblical support whatever. What christians do and have invented is quite different from the truth....therefore they are practicing falsehood. Jesus/Yashua the REAL one asks them why they call Him Lord Lord but don't DO what HE says ? This obviously shows that something is very WRONG with them !

Possible for small towns, but how can you have one assembly for a city with for example 10 million people in it? You will need some smaller local assemblies, anyway.

"Church in the city of New York" means only "my people in New York" or "Christians in New York", not one organization in one building.

1 Corinthians 16:2 is one. They were to lay by and store so that when they assembled together Paul wouldn't have to go door to door collecting.
This has nothing to do with assembling or collections but is about gathering and storing fruit/garden, field/orchard produce for the starving Saints at Jerusalem that Paul and other men would take as 'shipment...actual, literal food.....not money. They were to 'gather it and 'store up on the first day of the week-a WORKING DAY until Paul came to pick it up.....so he would not have to waste time hanging around while they went out into field and orchard to gather.

Acts 20:17 On the first day of the week we came together to break bread. Since Paul was ready to leave the next day, he talked to them and kept on speaking until midnight
They met on that particular day because Paul was leaving the next day. It says nothing about making that a weekly thing. It never has said that.
You are right...this was not an 'OFFICIAL assembly but a Social gathering for a MEAL...for when he (Paul) had broken Bread AND EATEN (had a MEAL) v 11....and continued his speech unto midnight. He was not giving a Sermon ! They came together for a Meal AFTER Sabbath-Service.

well. let's look at this again- the jews kept days from twilight to twilight. so, by that way of counting- Jesus died on thur. afternoon. then the Sabbath. then, after the Sabbath ended at twilight, sometime over night, Jesus rose. that takes us to " early in the morning on the first day of the week.

keep this in mind ms. beta. we can' t let our modern way of thinking cause us to mis-interperet Scripture . Sabbath keeping is fine for anyone who chooses, but it is not a required part of salvation.

OK...But I am not talking about what the Jews kept or did not keep...we are talking what SCRIPTURE says ...is that alright with you ?
with GOD the days start from sunset to sunset. ...nor are we talking about the time Jesus died but when he was placed in the tomb, for that is the correct time of counting 3 nights and 3 days Mat 12v40. Next....how do you arrive at Thursday since no day is given ?
I'll discuss the rest when this is sorted.

if you are going to ignore facts, then there is nothing to discuss. Sabbath was from twilight fri. till twilight sat. if you do not believe that it matters how the jews kept time, since all the disciples and Jesus himself were jewish men, then you will not understand how the sda/ Hebrew roots have deceived so many by ignoring this critical fact.

Revelations 1:4
4 John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne;
Revelation 2:1-11 1"To the angel of the church in Ephesus write:
Revelation 3:1-6 1"To the angel of the church in Sardis write:
there are 5 more churches. These are one church per city. on this earth there are millions and millions of churches. It not suppose to be that way. That is not the body of Christ.
There weren't that many believers when there was only one church per city. One church per city in certain areas nowadays would be impossible.

Sooooo....we need to figure out which one church in our city is the true church, while all the others are planted by the devil and all who go there are on their way to hell.

You will be blessed. Your right, it's a good thing to watch something on TV about God, when that is all you can do. God knows the heart. Hang in there. Because some times, it's hard for the care giver, but if you step out for a minute, you can start all over again. God bless you and your mother.

Ok you want to call it 'twilight but that is not a specific moment in time rather a somewhat 'prolonged period of uncertain duration SUNSET however can be visually observed within a few minutes and has a more direct meaning. And as for JESUS being a Jew and doing what Jews do ENDED when He started HIs own Ministry and walked no longer in Jewry Joh 7 and they started to persecute Him. Why ? because the Pharisees had their own perverted religion which Jesus was exposing as WRONG....so please don't use Jesus to be 'one of them !
I have no idea what SDA and Hebrew Roots are doing since I only FOCUS on Jesus/Yashua the Real Christ !
So what happens to our discussion now ?
