Re: Entering the Seventh Day

amazes me how quickly religious legalism tries to water down what God does, who are we to judge a mans heart??? Love believes all things, God reveals the truth behind it all...... not mans theology
Well .. i listened to the whole series (not sure if you did) and there were incidences of where he told how Jesus was in their presence (physically) and that sent up a warning flag, because in Matthew 24 Jesus warns
with these verses:
"Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many.
“Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There!’ do not believe it. For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. See, I have told you beforehand.
Deception was THE FIRST thing Jesus warned about.

Re: Entering the Seventh Day

bible also says "do not despise prophecy".. lets get one thing understood, when i view things like this i view from a positive viewpoint in Christ and let God reveal the truth, im not saying he is, im not saying he isnt. ill let God judge what is. I dont think he was saying Jesus is here , I felt it was more about what God is doing by His Spirit, if im wrong, im not condemned, no condemnation in Christ.

I agree we have to discern yes, however if we have a closed mind and heart to start with what are we doing??discerning?? i think not, more like judging..

Allgood i assure

I merged these two threads. They seem very related. No need to clutter the forum.

Re: Entering the Seventh Day

Jesus reveals Himself to those who seek Him with all of their heart. I have come to believe that He actually delights in manifesting Himself to those who love Him. I have been in His presence many times, and I remember each one vividly. But I know that the experience is not what is important. What is important is Jesus.

The days have passed when it was okay to just go to church and sing a few songs, and listen to a sermon, and talk to you neighbor about football. God is calling out a people who will have one thing, and one thing only. Jesus Christ, as their everything. The world is growing darker by the minute. Most people are consumed by hopelessness, because as they look to the future, they can only see more distress, more trouble, more inequity. Despite all of man's advances, the rule of money is destroying the earth, and the people of the earth. Without the truth of God as seen in Jesus Christ, the honest person has very little to live for, and dispare grows as hope fades.

We are here for a reason. That reason is not to be good little Christians. The reason, the purpose why we are here, is to be the light of God in the world, by becoming vessels filled with the glory and love and life of God. We are to let the light of God shine so that all who see us know that there is hope in us, a hope that is stronger than death. And the light in us is God's love, or it isn't light at all.

Jesus is still revealing His mysteries to His disciples! I thought you might like to see a little of what Dr. Owuor is writing: so here it is: this is just a part of this vision he was given.

This is a better example. I know he writes in a unique fashion so here is a better sample:

Entering through this door

It is one thing to agree with the five wise virgins and long to be like them, while it is quite another thing to engage in the real act of entry through this door to rapture.

What exactly does the church need to do to practically enter through this rapture door that stands open right now? Albeit the longing of the church to enter into the rapture, only the attainment of the true character of the five wise virgins will for sure earn her a full entry through this rapture door.

But again, one may wonder as to what the character of the five wise virgins would translate into their own individual day-to-day lives. This would be the only sure way that the christian would have to tell with absolute certainty, whether they will make it into rapture or be shut out by this door.

First and foremost, if today’s church would like to partake of the rapture, she would have to realize that one of the most important attributes of the five wise virgins is that they lived under the fear of the Lord at all times (Proverbs 9:10; Proverbs 14:16; Proverbs 15:33). This wise church that can enter through the rapture door has also to live in total trust of the Lord, trusting him with all her life, and everything therein

By inference the wise christians who will enter through the door of rapture will also have to be ready to live a life of confessing their sins on a regular basis.

The goat nations are shut out of the rapture by this door while the sheep nations are pleasantly welcomed into the rapture wedding banquet by the Lord’s warm hands. To the christians that did not care for the under privileged he will say, “depart from me you who are cursed into eternal fire . . .” (Matthew 25:41-46). Even as one tries to mirror the life of the five wise virgins whom Jesus welcomes through the rapture door

Notwithstanding, the christian that chooses to enter through this rapture door must still not forget that the five wise virgins lived their lives perpetually growing in the wisdom of the Lord.

As though this were not enough now comes the caveat. The edge that the five wise virgins enjoy over their foolish counterparts rests upon the fact that they were completely righteous and not wicked. Today’s church that would like to enter through rapture door must hence wear this celebrated righteousness.

To be wise and enter through the rapture door will also require of the church that she take upon herself this very important character of the wise virgins. That wise church that enters the rapture is inevitably a humble and not a proud church 1 John 2:15-17).

i would very much appreciate it if you, yourself, using your own study, would show me biblically where THE RAPTURE (door) is in Scripture. not man's teachings, please show me using the Bible where there is a pretribulation rapture.

thank you.

Re: Entering the Seventh Day

Jesus appeared physically after His resurrection to ALL the believers. Why would He not appear now like that? He is not saying come out to the desert and follow a Jesus I have found. Jesus can and does visit with obedient believers. But of course He lives in Heaven but He is coming back for His waiting Holy bride. I know no amount of words will convince most of you, but here is his statement of faith for what it is worth to you, which may not be much.

Also consider that Jesus will be sending real prophets! Matthew 10:41
King James Bible
He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward.

Statement of Faith

Statement of Faith
We believe that the Bible is the principle foundation and the only unchanging, infallible and authoritative Word of God completely inspired by the Mighty Holy Spirit. The Holy Bible is the highest and final authority in every aspect of life as created by God.

We believe in one God; eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, His virgin birth, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, His death to completely redeem sin for all men.

We believe that all men are born with a sinful nature and that the work of the Cross completely redeemed man from the power of sin and death. And that those who believe in Christ JESUS as LORD and Saviour are saved.

We believe that the Holy Spirit is the Third Person of the Trinity and the baptism of the Holy Spirit is manifested by the fruit and the gifts of the Spirit.

We believe that the Church of Christ is the eternal and universal Body of Christ JESUS consisting of all those who have accepted the work of the atonement.

We believe that the Rapture is the imminent, premillennial return of Jesus Christ for His holy church when the dead in Christ shall be raised in glorified bodies, and those living in holiness shall be transformed into glorified bodies without tasting death and get caught up in the air with the Lord JESUS.

We believe in the ordinance of water baptism by immersion in obedience to the Word of God. And all those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal savior should be baptized in water as a public profession of their faith in Christ.

We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through true Repentance in the precious blood of Christ JESUS and the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit who enables the Christian to live in holiness.

We believe in observance of the Lord’s Supper as a proclamation of the death of Christ JESUS until He returns.

We believe that the church has entered into a critical dispensation for Preparing The Way of the Lord JESUS in observance of absolute Righteousness and Holiness

God told him to announce that the door to rapture is open now and we are to light our lamps and go in NOW. There is not time to hesitate.
Hope to see you there!

thanks sislt777.

but i'm not necessarily asking you to change my beliefs. just asking for documentation.

i'm asking if you could show me, even in a "few mere" words where the BIBLE says there is a rapture coming soon. i really would like to see it. i know you're very busy, but if you could even start me off toward understanding your position, for example:

1) which bible do you use?
2) which verses (even a few) prove a soon rapture of holy christians?

thanks, zone.

The rapture is never mentioned in the Bible. That idea was made up by a protestant minister.

I believe that with regards to the end times, the Church will be led through great tribulation, but Jesus will prevail.

I don't concentrate on the end times too much. I don't think we should. Jesus said, "No one knows the day of my return." So really, its useless trying to figure it out. All we can do is be good Christians living our life to the fullest.

When it comes down to it, I'm more concerned with my judgement when I die. That is most likely our judgement day for real. That one is unavoidable.

Interesting, seeing as the apostles lived each day expecting the day of the Lord at any time. The word "rapture" is not in the bible, which does not mean that the idea of a rapture is not in the bible. God did cause to be written that we are not destined for wrath, which I do believe some of the tribulation will entail. Great wrath, God's terrible wrath, so bad that if the days had not been shortened, there would be NO LIFE left on earth. No people, no animals, no plants, no insects, no mold or fungi or any living thing. Now brother, that is wrath.

Blessings in Jesus,
vic

Jesus said that He was the truth, that the Holy Spirit of truth when He comes would lead us into all truth. He has come and I have received the Holy Spirit of truth and He has revealed this truth to me over several years and much study of the word of God for myself and much prayer. Why do I feel that you only want to enter into a debate and are not really seeking verses or information? I could be wrong though. I apologize if I am wrong, and I still suggest that you study to show yourself approved unto God alone. God is the one who we should get our doctrines on what we believe from. In 1 John it says that we don't need anyone else to teach us but that the anointing will teach us. God put a stream of oil over those verses for me a while back! He is a living God, and He knows those who love Him. I know you love Him or you would not be wasting your time here. I pray you are blessed in your search for the truth and for the living water and the hidden manna.

1TH 4:17 Then we which are alive [and] remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Rev. 3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

i AM seeking the verses you believe prove any moment rapture, and any biblical information you have learned regarding it, or i wouldn't have asked. but i won't ask again, since you seem reluctant to offer the documentation. that's your privilege.

as for entering a debate, this is a forum for discussion, i thought.

I use the Authorized King James Version because Jesus seems to really like it because He puts a lot of oil on different verses for me and also glory dust as well. They take to many important things out of all the other versions, I don't trust the other versions.

hi sislt777.

i know you didn't post this to me, but i have read it.

i'm familiar with these verses. one of these verses does indeed describe the catching up of the saints....but it doesn't say WHEN.

the other verse doesn't describe the catching up (whether rapture pre or post or at any time).

do you have any other documentation?

thanks

Jesus put a silver glory dust on Rev. 3: 10 for me. :)

Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

And in a couple of prophecies He told me that I would make it. Actually that was also in the very first prophecy I got when I was 18 as well as a few in the past few years. You can get all the information you need on why people believe that there will be a catching away. Just do a google search. I am not going to debate this. I believe it.

glory dust is an oil based anointing that comes in the form of a supernatural type of glitter. I found that it fades away or changes form and I can't see it anymore unless I taped them to verses. This comes when there is intense worship and high praise of Jesus, and sometimes I get them when I am studying the bible and also praying. Jesus puts them on verses to tell me things and sometimes He answers my thoughts right at the time I think them. It has been an awesome experience to have Jesus manifest His love and instructions in such an awesome way. It has caused me to draw very close to Jesus! It also comes in church on a couple of chairs when the worship in church is so awesome that the angels and Jesus show up! Jesus inhabits the worship, so He shows up and receives His worship and sometimes leaves tokens of His love. Lots of people resist the Holy Spirit doing this but I receive everything that Jesus thinks I need right now since we are in the end times. Religious spirits really hate this manifestation of the presence of God and viciously attack any who talk about it. But it is a good gift from God my Father and my Lord Jesus Christ, so I don't worry what men say or think. I only care what God thinks and wants! I am His temple and I gave Him permission to use my life any way He sees fit. I am going to get lots and lots more signs and wonders in the near future. He will prove it is from Him. It is sad that Christians don't know His ways better. He said He can do ANYTHING in heaven or in earth!

Most believe more in the power of the devil to deceive than in the power of God to do signs and wonders and bless His children.
