Ooooo..im going through the same thing n asked for prayer last week. Ive tried 3 very different churches..went 2 times to 2 n the 2nd timr will be to the 3rd church tomorrow..PRAYING FOR YOU ;)
 
Sometimes just shake your head. Or roll your eyes. You know, we cannot change people. Only God can do that.

I kinda researched them previous since i dont know my area well yet..all are very good Bible based churches...but ironically..the one i like most is an "inner city" church..i stand out like a sore thumb being blond and 1 out of 3 white people but it embodies what i think the church should be about so im excited to go again tomorrow...;) Have you tried any churches yet?

Jewell, we went to some church down the street from us. My son told me later that the lady behind us kept touching him while we
were in service. Then when I put my hand on the back of the seat to hug my kids, the same lady stood up and leaned on my hand.
That was so nasty. Then afterward noone really was welcoming to us.

Lol..a church i was really hopeful about ..from front door entering to leaving..no one welcomed me..loved the worship..service..size..involvement in the community..later..i wrote the small group leader bout my disappointed experience n not eing welcomed..the next sunday he was sure to welcome me..but both times i went..i felt like "same ol same ol"... Then..i went to a smaller conservative church..i was by FAR one of the yougest therr..i felt 20 yrs older when i left..lol..this last church is a more inner city vibe..loud worship but leaders ctually smile like they believe what theyre singing bout..very friendly..bout 75 people..in a converted bar..mostly hispanics and blacks..lits ot tatoos..lol. But the message was empowering..had an alter call and the church truly was ministering to the low and down trodden...not sure if itll e my home church but i guess its a good start that i really look forward to going again

Yes..i was looking for somthing different but i felt some of the stares from people wondering why the conservative snowlake was in thier church..just might have to get a tatoo thats all..lol
