What if I told you each race was created equally but separately. and just as the angels took wives for themselves, and had offspring, lucifer beguiled eve and had offspring, also what if I said that Cain was that offspring belonging to the serpent and able belonged to Adam, No other children had been born to the eight-day Adam and eve. until Seth, and Cain chose his 2 wives from one of the other races in the land of nod,
Would saying these things put to rest a lot of questions or would it create more. Or would anyone even really care?

What are your thoughts

If there WERE others...why did he only single out Adam and Eve for the Bible? I believe they were the first human beings...
Why would it mention others when they aren't significant to the chapter? I believe they were the first, as the Bible says, and as my original post says. I jusst don't necessarily believe they were the only people God created.

Relatives sister or step sisters .Eve is the mother of mankind. The human race is made up of brothers and sisters in Adam .Just like the new creation sisters and brother in Christ . The bride of Christ is the mother of us all as a surrogate mother.

If Cain was first born, then able. Then no one else yet, then Cain took wives and bare children, Then Seth, where did his wives come from?
Hello Enocish,

What you are not taking into consideration is that, after Cain and Abel were born, Adam and Eve continued to have other children who are just not mentioned in scripture. And those children continued to have children and their children continued to have children and so on and so on. In addition, scripture does not tell us how old Cain was when he got married. If say, he was a hundred years old when he found his wife, then all the rest of Adam and Eve's offspring and their offspring over a hundred year period would produce thousands and thousands of people from which Cain could obtain a wife from.

That said, this does not have to be a mystery. It only requires logical deduction.

Where is it written that the LORD created Adam & Eve?

Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.
Gen 5:2

The female was only called Eve later.

And Adam called his wife's name Eve;
Gen 3:20
God brought the woman to the man and called her Eve...

Not everything in scripture should be taken literally.
It is not a sin if we don't understand every word as
long as we love the Lord our God with all our heart.
I agree and theres some things tgat God wont reveal to us this side of heaven and things we dont need to worry bout..

Lol..nice spin but not quite believable..lots of "what ifs" lol
Hi Jewel,

If you were referring to my post, it is not a "nice spin" but practical Biblical truth. For example: Noah had three son's, but when the lineage is listed Genesis only Shem is mentioned, yet we know that Noah also had Shem and Ham.

The problem with this issue of "where did Cain find his wife" is based on a lack of basic reasoning. People read the scripture which says that Eve gave birth to Cain and then to Abel, but what it does not mention is all the other children that they gave birth to. They are just not mentioned in scripture. And as I said, we don't know when Cain got married. Therefore, if got married at a hundred years old, then the other offspring from Adam and Eve and their children's children, would have produced thousands and thousand within just a hundred year period.

Bride of Christ is the church..we as christians make up the church :)
Yes Paul as a new creature was used to typify the Bride of Christ the church as a surrogate mother with Timothy

Galatians 4:19 My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,

In 2 Corinthian as a surrogate mother prepared Timothy as a chaste virgin to Christ.

2 Corinthians 11:2For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.

She is used in a parable found in Revelation 12 travail in birth pain Christ having completed His work

And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered .Revelation 12:1-2

What are your thoughts
As far as the highlighted section, I would say that is self evident.
As far as the rest of your post, with no disrespect intended, trifle is the word that comes to mind.

Would saying these things put to rest a lot of questions or would it create more.
Neither.
Or would anyone even really care?
Isn't that somewhat condescending?
What are your thoughts
As far as my thoughts, in consideration of 1 Cor 2:16, I would consider it as complete conjecture without any basis in fact or principle. For example, your represent Cain chose his 2 wives, can you provide any scriptural support of that interpretation?

There is an argument to be made that we don't know how long passed between Adam and Eve's creation, and their fall. If they went forth and multiplied before they fell, then Cain and Seth would have not been their very first children, but the first of their post-fall children. And they would have had access to their pre-fall sisters.
