If homosexuality is a sin, then why didn't Jesus say anything about it?

What do you do with the doctrine of predestination, election and the reprobate. Do you just sweep them all under the carpet, as the Arminians do.
  • "Do you really believe that God is going to lose most of mankind in hell and that only a few are going to be saved?"
  • "If most go to hell, doesn't that mean that Satan wins since God only gets a few compared to the majority who are lost?"
Of course, these kinds of questions are the wrong ones to ask. What they are doing is using emotionalism to sway someone's beliefs. What they should be asking are questions like these:
  • "What does the Bible teach about damnation?"
  • "Does the Bible tell us if most will be lost or saved?"
  • "Does it tell us that all will be saved?

  • "Enter by the narrow gate; for the gate is wide, and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and many are those who enter by it. 14"For the gate is small, and the way is narrow that leads to life, and few are those who find it," (Matt. 7:13-14).
  • "For many are called, but few are chosen," (Matt. 22:14).

  • "And He was passing through from one city and village to another, teaching, and proceeding on His way to Jerusalem. 23And someone said to Him, "Lord, are there just a few who are being saved?"

  • And He said to them, 24"Strive to enter by the narrow door; for many, I tell you, will seek to enter and will not be able. 25"Once the head of the house gets up and shuts the door, and you begin to stand outside and knock on the door, saying, ‘Lord, open up to us!’ then He will answer and say to you, ‘I do not know where you are from.’ 26"Then you will begin to say, ‘We ate and drank in Your presence, and You taught in our streets’; 27and He will say, ‘I tell you, I do not know where you are from; depart from Me, all you evildoers,'" (Luke 13:22-27).

  • "And Isaiah cries out concerning Israel, "Though the number of the sons of Israel be as the sand of the sea, it is the remnant that will be saved; 28for the Lord will execute His word upon the earth, thoroughly and quickly," (Rom. 9:27)
So how can anyone say God has offered salvation to everyone, the above scriptures make it clear that God has chosen to save some and not all mankind as many believe. What about the Reprobate.

Romans 1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

2 Corinthians 13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

2 Corinthians 13:6 But I trust that ye shall know that we are not reprobates.

2 Corinthians 13:7 Now I pray to God that ye do no evil; not that we should appear approved, but that ye should do that which is honest, though we be as reprobates.

2 Timothy 3:8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.

Titus 1:16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.
And who is saying that all mankind will be saved?
God is no respector of persons he will have mercy on who he sees fit but, ever since Jesus was crucified and the Jews rejected Jesus by way of paul both gentile and jew alike can be saved not of their own doing but, accepting Jesus, plainly put Jesus did the work and we accept all he did acceptance is not a work it is basically acknowledging and agreeing with an agreement that agreement being that people can accept Jesus or not the difference between true acceptance and mere claiming is shown in works but, in accepting Jesus it is imputed to us righteousness and Jesus's works now will all accept Jesus? is everyone given the opportunity to be saved? Yes otherwise both God and Jesus are liars.

See this is exactly what I was talking about, you just presented your own private interpretation of the Gospel. Your interpretation is see as a perversion by our Church, we see your interpretation as sinful and offensive to God.

You treat the blood of Jesus as a cheap consumer product, offered to everyone so we find that highly offensive. It also means that Christ failed miserably.

When you say 'our church' what exactly is the church that you are referring to?

That's a concise answer that I definitely agree with. Thank you for your reply.

Homosexuality, same sex marriage and the associated elements is another ..new age religion...interpretation from the 1960's social and moral revolution. ...to tickle the ears.
Another great deception.

To date, included in research, no information can be found prior to the 1960's...of any significance.

Homosexuality was a crime up until the early 1960's now it's a crime not to give them equal rights in everything.

Lots of things have changed from the early 60. Back then colored people were treated as second class citizens. Society evolves and old uneducated ways of thinking get pushed out.

It's the exact opposite, society degenerates into total depravity and the truth is pushed out and evil is embraced as good. Christ is coming back to cast the vast majority of so called Christians into the lake of fire. They will say Lord Lord, but He will show no mercy and I can't wait until He comes back so I can see justice being served on the hypocrites.

The only change in the Bible happened on Jesus death on the cross. At that point the universe proclaimed the Old Testament is finished and the new covenant has begun. Sadly we have many still holding on to the old.

I have always been taught, theologically, we are to maintain OT teachings unless replaced by the NT.
Do you agree?

A good example is divorce....OT vs NT....providing a change.

Another Baptism;...from body cleansing to spiritual cleansing....a change.

Christs' sacrifice on the cross in the NT for sin forgiveness vs OT method of repentance...a change.

God has not changed on His Moral standard or Holiness. Preachers today; many of them are cowards. They will not say what the word of God says because it is unpopular. In addition, they will not speak out when the world makes word of God illegal. If they will not do it now while it is unpopular to do so. A form of godliness but deny the power of His word.

You are so correct.

They will pay a price...I fear. We must be reminded that .....Christ said;....."you may pay a price for following me". But, there are many who doesn't like that. I fear they will ultimately pay a big price for failure to maintain their commitment.

The cross is the most important event in human history. Jesus paid for our sins with his life. We are no longer under the laws of sin and death. We live under Jesus laws of love. God has given us grace.
