The reason Jesus died for us is to give us a way to walk on this earth as he did, without intentional sin. After we are born again we are suppose to live by the spirit and not the soul(flesh). If you are still living by the flesh, you have already missed the mark.
Don’t fool yourself, we all miss the mark every single day and we must depend on Jesus redemptive grace every single day to stay forgiven. There is absolutely no way you can save yourself by your own actions.
I am not saying homosexuality is not s sin however we ar ALL guilty of sin.
Why do you look at the speck in your neighbors eye and not the plank in your own eye?

I don't have a plank in my eye right now. Do you think we should except the murderers, adulterers etc. too. Should we except the homosexuals starting their own church, and changing the Bible in placest. I think some are already doing that.

I tell you this in love. It does nothing for me to tell you these things. It's the truth, no matter how anyone try to justify it. I have told you and now I will let you be. When your in sin, you are blinded. The only way to see the truth is when you get out of it. Gay people think that that is just the way they are. It is a demon, sent to corrupt that person to keep them away from God. We are in a war. Good and Evil. Love You, and God Bless.
Putting aside for now your demonology I’m fascinated when you assert “When you’re in sin, you are blinded” I must have been doing it in my sleep.

Screacher..... A person that echos the Bible with the rules and regulations of God. Alot of talk and noise but no heart. Self proclaimed.

Homosexuals were stoned to death in the Bible, so I think they should at least get a prison sentence in our days. Perhaps some hard labor on a chain gang in the blazing hot sun with a regular wiping, should drive the filthy wicked urge to commit Sodomy out of them.

Not to sure of that...there was a time when a certain tribe had a sect that were homosexual that came calling for one of the prophets much like in sodom

We need to get our eyes off the sin and on to the person. Would you feel more comfortable with a murderer, how about a thief? Then again a ped? Herion addict? You are made of the same dirt saints same Adam D.N.A. and only by the grace of God were you kept from worse than what you say. This is what sin does, it doesn't get better it gets worse. To the point of reprobate.
This whole gay thing weirds me out too I don't begin to understand it but I do believe that there are future brothers and sisters in Christ that are caught up in this mess. That Jesus is seeking.
Were were all following the other 99 sheep all the time? Did the good Sheperd have to look for you?? He did me. What part of the law convicted you the most? Or was it the love of Christ that drew you???

When you found Christ did you keep sinning intentionally?

Matthew 18:15-17 15"If your brother or sister sins, go and point out their fault, just between the two of you. If they listen to you, you have won them over. 16But if they will not listen, take one or two others along, so that 'every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.' 17If they still refuse to listen, tell it to the church; and if they refuse to listen even to the church, treat them as you would a pagan or a tax collector.

Frankly, your thread title is inflammatory.
Exactly what I was thinking........why even ask such a question? If not to inflame?

Not reading past your comment, because what value could there be in such a discussion?

"Every man commits a crime at one time or another, whether he is mean to kids or unkind to his mother".

Yeah, let's lock up all of the homosexuals. Who's tax dollars are going to pay for the new prisons to lock up these felons? Not mine, that's for sure. Better yet, let's lock up all those who have committed a sin. Do you really want the government to decide what is a sin or not? I sure don't.

I can see how that attitude is going to draw people to Christ.
Mosaic law was intended for Israel which Jesus ended. The aspects of Mosaic law was only for the Mosaic law time period imposed upon Israel. The OT law also says to kill murderers, people who work on the Sabbath, adulterers, kidnapping, witchcraft and sorcery, sins against parents, (which is why Calvin beheaded a 10 year old), offenses against God, treason and rebellion, sacrificing children, sexual immorality, and at times, manslaughter.

"According to the Journal of Couple and Relationship Therapy, approximately 50 percent married women and 60 percent of married men will have an extramarital affair at some time in their marriage.

University of California study in 1998 reported that 24 percent of men and 14 percent of women had had sex outside their marriages. In only 10 years, those numbers have more than doubled."

If we were to impose Mosaic law upon mankind today, about 90% of people would be in jail.
Our goal is not to draw the reprobate to Christ, their fate is already sealed. And saying that sin is now more acceptable in your progressive Christianity is an abomination.
God is still the same God who destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah for homosexuality, He still hates them just as much today so we shouldn't attempt to justify them in any way. They are an abomination, I believe they should be imprisoned at the very least.

God distorted the whole world with a flood because of sin. With your view none of us can be saved.

Have you any idea how much of your own psychology you are unwittingly revealing here? Oh, and by the way, not all homosexuals indulge in sodomy. If you want to fantasise they do, be my guest.
Homosexuals are an abomination in Gods sight, He hates them. You should never attempt to justify that heinous sin in any way, lest you bring condemnation upon yourself.

you are wrong, there are various degrees of sin. The homosexuality is among the top worst sins, God never passed a worse judgement on anyone as He did on the Homosexuals, when He destroyed them in the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah. more recently He sent AIDS to punish them, so we can see it is a worse sin than most others.

If the majority of Christians thought the way you do...offensive Calvin types, Christianity would have gone the way of Nazism and been blotted out of American and European society, and the religion would have gone by the wayside. Why would anybody want to become a follower of Christ with people like you in it.
You are an abomination. You are full of hate and proud of it.

That takes us back to anyone without sin cast the first Stone, even if we are not intentionally sinning. We sin in our thoughts.
I would rather confront them with the Gospel, then have their blood on my hands. You are not a Christian if you confirm them in their sin, it is our duty to warn them of the eternal torment that awaits them in hell fire.
