Another "EVERYONE' question...Why are dating games so confusing? Why do men chase after women that show little or no interest in them other than ones who are available and attentive??
I wanna say it’s because perhaps men wanna see if they can get the woman who isn’t interested? As in a “let’s see if I can conquer her?”

Now now I don’t mean women are meant to be conquered. I also don’t mean all men are like this.

Nobody better get offended by my post lol

Actually, men are designed to conquer.
Conquer nations, sabertooth tigers, women.
The guys who don't, well, they are the slaves, eunuchs, the 60% that never mate.

I think sometimes people think it is safer to flirt with someone that is totally unrealistic, because they want the attention and an affirmation. I do think however that flirting for sports that way is totally wrong. Flirting is playing with another person's feelings and you shouldn't do that. You might end up hurting yourself, the other person and perhaps others that might have a genuine interest.

That said. Flirting outside marriage is not a sin as long as it doesn't create a sexual tension. Flirting without sexual inclinations can also be fun, when it is done as a game of sorts, where you are safe on the person's feelings and that you are not hurting anyone. When being aware of how your words and actions can be interpreted and you are sure about the other person, I don't see it as sinful.

I risk to get another disagree.

Not all women want an alpha male. Somebody wants a partner for life. You might refer to some documentaries you have watched or some article you have read that says we are just like animals. Animals are also different. Some are shy, some are dominat, some are soft. Just watching my dogs now, and I see how incredibly different their personalities are. If animals are different, then surely we as being made in God's image is more complex than pure instinct.

If I could pick from the top shelf, I'd rather want a man that puts Christ first and that is humble and following Him. A humble man goes beyond the conquerer, hunter and dominant. A man that prays and seek the Lord is the most admirable trait any man can have. So... it might be he is not hunting. Perhaps he is not sure of how to. But I am trusting God will lead two persons together as He pleases. No hunt required. Only humble submission.

Yet reality doesn't bear this out.

I remember I got a huge T-shirt from Niagara falls from a visitor that came to our house. It was a picture of bear and it said "I need a hug". I loved that shirt, and used it for years as sleep wear.

I should wear it right now. A hug would be nice. I will just hand out virtual hugs to everyone here. Perhaps one day I will get a real one in return.

Tommy. You can enjoy your alpha status. No one is challenging you on that here.

One day, though, the alpha Male is seeing that life and the world is not black and white. He might even find himself in need of diaper change and intimate care. Does the role of alpha still apply? Or will even the old alpha realize he is not the leader of the pack anymore?

Christians should not flirt
Flirting is a form of attention showing an interest in someone. Pretty hard to find someone if you don't show an interest and give a little affection. That's basically how relationships start at least from my experience and observation.
