Tourist, she brings up a good point. Where has your wife been lately? I can't remember seeing anything from her in a long time.

I was referring to the Lynx " the whiskers" I forgot I did see a pic of you clean shaved with a cool sax tie.

I thought more people would be honest and unless people are rich to travel the world to see people on cc how can people make lists of "everyone"...dont get it..lol just one big fuzzy hug..and yes..i know theres long term cyber friendships here but as well INTENDED as people are..who..in REALITY would be most likely to meet and why..lol

Well, you did ask for peoples opinions of who they’d most likely to meet in real life, and you never know that it could potentially happen. The chances of our American friends would probably be more high of meeting each other, as opposed to having to travel abroad to visit others in the Southern, Eastern and Pacific oceans.

I’d like for you to name those who you think aren’t being honest in their post, and then maybe they can give you an explanation of why (even though they don’t have to justify).

Being good intended isnt the same as honest reality and thats what i was hoping for when i first started the OP...maybe get confused with reality here or dont recognized it anymore..dont know...

The reason I didn't name specific people from the past that I've met here is because of 1. respect for their privacy (they might not want to be named), and 2. it was a few years ago and most of the are no longer on the site, so no one would know who I was talking about anyway.

I have friends and family scattered all around the US, and while I'm not able to do so very often, I do travel to see them when I can, and have been trying to visit/meet with CC'ers along the way if it can be worked out.

I have met around 10 so far and have about 10 more on my list for 2019--God willing, if it hopefully all works out.

I do have one person I came close to meeting last year and I hope she won't mind, but since I've known her for years, I will mention her by name--Cinder--but unfortunately, family commitments got in the way and foiled our plans. I'm determined to try again whenever I make it out there again.

I know travel is expensive and takes a lot of saving and planning, but I'm usually not meeting people individually--I know where I'm going and try to see who I can meet for coffee, etc., along the way, so it doesn't add much cost to my trip.

However, as with the others, I'm not going to name them unless I have their permission for the sake of their privacy (and also mine, as I don't feel an entire forum needs to know where I'm headed.)

Little Mermaid; I want to spend some time making her see things the right way, Virginia is better than Texas. I got Virginia is for lovers bumper stickers, coffee mugs, keychains, thimbles, spoons, sweatshirts, tshirts, trucker hats, refrigerator magnets, and etched wine glasses.

Seoulsearch; I want to take her to the classiest restaurant I know, Applebees. Something good in the neighborhood. I have gift cards, and when I'm done, I'm going to steal her car, rotate the tires, and fill the gas tank.

LOL.. The only other apartment in my section is across the hall, and she's a lesbian.. Not a cop.. lol..

Though when I lived elsewhere down the road here back in '97, my neighbor across the hall was a cop. Only downside to that was, his girlfriend was there every night, and...let's just say, the walls were thin and she was very LOUD when they got it on at 2 a.m. after he got done with his shift... Then he moved out, and another cop moved in. He was pretty cool.. Came home for lunch every day and parked his cop car in front of my apt, so it always looked like the cops were at my house.. LOL
