What kind of numbskull reply is that?

What many don't realize is that had it not been for their Catholic upbringing many would likely be unbelievers or Atheist today. Catholic school was a blessing to me.
It is the truth.

Go up to any practising Catholic and ask them if they are going to heaven?

They will say yes "I am good person, I go to church" and that Mr. Dorite is not knowing the Gospel.

That is just silly, go to any Catholic Church this Sunday and if you know the Gospel then you come back and tell me if you heard it.

They do not accept it and therefore do not teach it.

Even when I was a young Catholic and people spoke about all of its persecutions, wealth and abuse at least I knew enough to keep my mouth shut and not defend what was indefensible.
You kept your mouth shut and your ears mute. Deaf and dumb, that's what you were suffering from.

"Vicar" means servant, ambassador. It does not mean "dominating dictator". You read INTO things whatever you want. Here is an example of your inability for context.

Christ the Holy anointing Spirit of God is our Victor, do we need two? One not seen as the things of God, another seen like Peter as the things of men ?

I would suggest no man can serve two teaching masters . (1) They will love the thing of God not seen(the faith principle) and hate the things men seen (walking by sight) . (2) or love the things of men(walking by sight) seen and hate the things of God not seen (the faith principle .

Which teaching master will you follow today? Men in purple, or God in red

Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee.
But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men. Mathew 16:22-23
There are over 70 verses indicating Peter's leadership and spokesman for all the Apostles. 3 of those is when Peter is a bumbling idiot. Funny how you can only find 3 verses about Peter when the New Testament is peppered with Peter's leadership. Jesus scolded Peter for his lack of understanding, not his teaching. Jesus did not yet make Peter pope at this time. Did Jesus change Peteer's name a second time???Vicar does not mean Victor. You quoted my explanation of "vicar" and still you ignored it. Please, do your self a favor, check what a word means with a dictionary to avoid making a fool of yourself.
Is the Bible the inspired written Word of God?? Of course it is. Did Satan write 1st and 2nd Peter???

Sorry but scripture shows that James was the leader among the apostles at Jerusalem.

Rome resorts to extra biblical writing to lay claim to Peter being the first pope. This of course is complete rubbish and has not one ounce of truth in it.

These stories: "When I was a young Catholic..." "...I was an altar boy..."
"...I was a Catholic for 30 years...". It's all a veneer to make themselves appear to be an authority on Catholicism and/or to validate the anti-Catholic nonsense they get fed the minute a church/group/bless-me-club finds out they snagged an ex-Catholic.
For every ex-Catholic there is a reason they left. It's not about doctrines, its about emotions. If people leave over doctrines, why are there hundreds of Protestant scholars and ministers becoming Catholic? They didn't know their Bible???

A web site had to be set up to handle the exodus.

victor (n.) mid-14c., from Anglo-French, Old French victor "conqueror," and directly from Latin victorem (nominative victor) "a conqueror," agent noun from past participle stem of vincere "to conquer, overcome, defeat," from nasalized form of PIE root *weik- (3) "to fight, conquer." Fem. formations include victrice (late 14c.), victress (c. 1600), victrix (1650s).

The meaning of the word Vicor has nothing to do with my question it just side sweeps it. The same argument that plagued Catholicism in the fifteenth century.

Sola scriptura, as in all things written in the law and the prophets the reforming key that the gates of hell could never prevail against .Or the oral traditions of the Catholic fathers ?

Which teaching masters do we serve seeing we can only serve one . (1) The things of God not seen(the faith principle) or (2) those of men seen the walking by sight principle as in the kingdom of God does come by observation .

Same question in a different way. Do we need a man as that seen to teach us or the Holy Spirit not seen ? Which teaching master do we abide in.

Of course not God not seen wrote the whole Bible. Peter is used as a example of one who was deceived the most .He denied Christ three times in on setting. I would suggest to get off of the Peter kick. And jump on the Christ wagon.

I am quite familiar with all of the oral traditions of the Catholic fathers as a law of the fathers . I have been on a Catholic Protestant discussion board for ten years.

You simply redefine the word "apostle" to make it an authority that rises above that which is written (sola scriptura) so that in the end you can puff up your denomination against another .

We walk or understand God by faith not by sight.

Mark 7:13 Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.

:( Did not hear the gospel once in twenty years of religious education in elementary school, high school or during church.
I suggest you tell me the precise gospel wording that your church accepts as the gospel, and I will see if I can find the same meaning in the Eucharistic Liturgy that is proclaimed at every Mass.
Why is the Liturgy of the Eucharist important in the Catholic Church?

Of course, you already know the liturgical calendar for Bible readings covers almost the entire Bible in a 3 year cycle. And the main points of the life, death, resurrection and Ascension is covered in a one year cycle.
You may have realized by now that there is more "Bible" read out loud in one Sunday Mass than a month of Protestant services
20 years X 52 weeks in a year means 1,042 gospel readings right from the Bible that was read out loud. The Bible says, "
hear the word of God", it says nothing about reading it, unless one is a deacon, priest or bishop. I am referring to the early church when almost no one could read.

You've managed to convince yourself that the Big Meanie Catholic Church doesn't preach the gospel. That's an excuse. I'll bet you are bitter about something else and it rarely is because of the Church. Were you a spectator for 20 years or a paricipant?

St. Francis of Assisi told his brothers: "Go and preach the Gospel, and if necessary, use words."

St. Mother Teresa forbade proselyting. She preached the gospel with her life. This is foreign to the Protestant mindset, where "gospel" words are more important than gospel actions.

For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until He comes. Gospel in a nut shell. You find the chapter and verse, I'll find it the Mass.

Yes, thankfully mute ears to their nonsense because I was intelligent enough to avoid being indoctrinated beyond redemption unlike some others.

I know the liturgy off by heart it is not there.

Spent many years as a liturgical dancer in my undergrad so I was at chapel all the time, I even taught at a Catholic school for ten years prior to changing careers.

None of the above I was finally told the truth by someone what the Gospel is, has nothing to do with bitterness, you are really reaching btw.

How about you tell me how one is saved, what is the good news?

Well that is a huge problem!!!

Did Jesus walk around mute. Plus the bible explicitly tells us faith comes by hearing. You have denied scripture why I am not surprised same nonsense I got from the priests when I tried to tell them the gospel.

17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

OFFICE OF POPE IN THE BIBLE
Isa. 22: 19 I will thrust you from your office, and you will be pulled down from your station.

Shebna is described as having an "office" and a "station." An office, in order for it to be an office, has successors. In order for an earthly kingdom to last, a succession of representatives is required.

This was the case in the Old Covenant kingdom, and it is the case in the New Covenant kingdom which fulfills the Old Covenant. Jesus our King is in heaven, but He has appointed a chief steward over His household with a plan for a succession of representatives.

Isa.22:20 In that day I will call my servant Eli'akim the son of Hilki'ah,

Isa. 22:20 - in the old Davidic kingdom, Eliakim succeeds Shebna as the chief steward of the household of God. The kingdom employs a mechanism of dynastic succession. King David was dead for centuries, but his kingdom is preserved through a succession of representatives.

Isa.22:21 and I will clothe him with your robe, and will bind your girdle on him, and will commit your authority to his hand; and he shall be a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem and to the house of Judah.

Isa. 22:21 - Eliakim is called “father” or “papa” of God's people. The word Pope used by Catholics to describe the chief steward of the earthly kingdom simply means papa or father in Italian. This is why Catholics call the leader of the Church "Pope." The Pope is the father of God's people, the chief steward of the earthly kingdom and Christ's representative on earth.

Isa.22:22 And I will place on his shoulder the key of the house of David; he shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open.

Isa. 22:22 - we see that the keys of the kingdom pass from Shebna to Eliakim. Thus, the keys are used not only as a symbol of authority, but also to facilitate succession. The keys of Christ's kingdom have passed from Peter to Linus all the way to our current Pope with an unbroken lineage for almost 2,000 years.

23: And I will fasten him like a peg in a sure place, and he will become a throne of honor to his father's house.

Rev. 1:18; 3:7; 9:1; 20:1 - Jesus' "keys" undeniably represent authority. By using the word "keys," Jesus gives Peter authority on earth over the new Davidic kingdom, and this was not seriously questioned by anyone until the Protestant reformation 1,500 years later after Peter’s investiture.

Revelation 3:7 "And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: `The words of the holy one, the true one, who has the key of David, who opens and no one shall shut, who shuts and no one opens.

Matthew 16:19 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven."

Matt. 16:19 - whatever Peter binds or looses on earth is bound or loosed in heaven / when the Prime Minister to the King opens, no one shuts. This "binding and loosing" authority allows the keeper of the keys to establish "halakah," or rules of conduct for the members of the kingdom he serves.

Jer. 33:17 For thus saith the Lord: There shall not be cut off from David a man to sit upon the throne of the house of Israel.

Jeremiah prophesies that David shall never lack a man to sit on the throne of the earthly House of Israel. Either this is a false prophecy, or David has a successor of representatives throughout history.

Dan. 2:44 But in the days of those kingdoms the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that shall never be destroyed, and his kingdom shall not be delivered up to another people, and it shall break in pieces, and shall consume all these kingdoms, and itself shall stand for ever.

Daniel prophesies an earthly kingdom that will never be destroyed. Either this is a false prophecy, or the earthly kingdom requires succession.

Seem to me our catholic friend are offended when we talk about the real bible. That sad, they should respon with Cold head not Emotion

A Lot of their teaching is Lie. Peter never been in Rome, they say peter was first pope in rome that make pope is his successor.

The very foundation of her teaching is Lie, what kind of building you can build oN the Lie foundation. Another wall of lie and window of lie.

Act indicate Paul was the first Christian leader in Rome.

Now, about new world order, more and more article quote how pope promote one world government, it convince me that vatican behind nwo.

Some pope say they are vicar of Christ

What is vicar mean?

Pope innocent III statement indicate that vicar of Christ mean acting oN behalf of Christ AS a judge to all but judge by non, pope is above all King and kingdom

Obvious pope want to rule the world AS Jesus. I do not know why catholic always Deny that fact and point to islam I believe both share the same desire, but islam more visibel but catholic Will win because she has more money. Jesuit own federal reserve, print money from thin air and sale It to people.

Who comes and who goes is not even the issue, the issue is the teachings of the Catholic Church in terms of salvation are wrong, plain and simple.

The Counter Reformation was their opportunity for reform and they blew it.

They will never be able to say to issue a Papal Bull and state the truth which should go something like this.....

"oh by the way we have been teaching false doctrine since before Constantine and uhm you know how we tell you the Eucharist is the body and blood of Jesus and that you receive grace from it, well we have a confession to make, we interpreted that particular scripture to suit our own needs and isn't really true but it keeps you coming through those doors, because really how else would be able to fund all our good works"

Catholic Soteriology:

The Catholic Church teaches that good works done after regeneration (at baptism) and justification are (if certain conditions are met) meritorious and can contribute to salvation and attainment of eternal life, but only hand-in-hand with, soaked in, enabled by, grace, which alone saves us. Catholics believe in sola gratia.

It’s a faith that is not separated from works (per James). Faith inherently includes these works. But we’re not saved by faith alone (that’s where Protestantism errs); we’re saved by grace alone. We may describe Catholic soteriology as follows:

By the grace of God, we are saved through our faith; this faith entails by its very nature, good works, always enabled by prior grace, without which this faith is dead.

http://www.ncregister.com/blog/darmstrong/is-grace-alone-sola-gratia-also-catholic-teaching

Mostly not biblical.
Works do not prove salvation and never will.
One can be saved and have no works.
James was not teaching about eternal justification he was teaching on justification before men

Seem to me you believe pope is Christ representative oN earth, It state seversl time in your post

So pope innocent who say that AS a pope he judge all but judge not by all is inline with catholic teaching

Represent Christ mean represent King of king

Mean rule all King oN earth.

Why you Deny when I say pope desire to rule the world?

Pope innocent statement strongly indicate the direction.
