I live in Clearwater, Florida. Spent many months in Texas back in the day.I live in Texas.
This is a sad post. No chocolate? I was thinking just today of scoring some chocolate when I do a little grocery shopping tomorrow. There is 'heathy' food and then there is 'health' food. Food that is healthy might actually taste good but health food probably taste bad and not really edible. I would consider eating seaweed though. Probably boil it like spinach. If you squeeze a lot of lemon on it then be alright. Never had tofu or alfalfa sprouts. You know that stuff is not right. On second thought, I will just stick with the candy. It may not be entirely healthy but at least it tastes good and makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside.I NEED CHOCOLATE AND ALL I HAVE IN THE HOUSE IS FLIPPIN HEALTHY FOOD..lol
Ain't that the truth. Both are HOT! View attachment 187372
@tourist Texas has changed a lot in the past few years. Lots of construction all over the place, so traffic is a nightmare.I live in Clearwater, Florida. Spent many months in Texas back in the day.
I promise I am not trying to brag, but I just had a couple of spoonfuls of Nutella! Please don’t judge! This is a sad post. No chocolate? Hard to believe that your Walmart was out of the stuff. Actually, I have never tried Nutella but will probably do so one day soon.I promise I am not trying to brag, but I just had a couple of spoonfuls of Nutella! Please don’t judge!
I thought Nutella might be on recall, since my Walmart had none for a while, but I found some at Target this week.

Clearwater is adjacent to both Tampa and St. Petersburg. Yeah, a bit of traffic but nothing like Orlando where I lived for over 20 years. Lot of construction in this area too. There is always something going up or down in Florida. This state will never be built as it changes rapidly.@tourist Texas has changed a lot in the past few years. Clearwater rings a bell for some reason...is it in North Florida? Or did I see Manetees there, maybe?
I will take your word on the Nutty. German chocolate coconut frosting? That's what I'm talking about. Actually, there may be a container of Better Crocker in the pantry. This is true about the seafood. Florida is basically one giant theme park. I used to live an hour from Walt Disney World in Orlando and have been to all four of their theme parks and the two fantastic water parks and also Pleasure Island many times than I can count. Mostly with my daughter but my family as well. Been to both theme parks of Universal Studios too many times and but only been to Sea World once and Busch Gardens in Tampa once. It has been many years since Sea World but there were a lot of great animal shows. The place has dramatically changed though and mostly rides now. I thought that Busch Gardens was kind of lame but did enjoy the free beer in the drinking pavilion. Probably will never go back as I quit drinking in 1992.I might need to pull my old photo albums because it sounds so familiar...it might have been on the coastal hwy, I was on.
I bet you get a ton of fantastic seafood there!
