I don't really like girls who wear makeup. (mascara, eye shadow, foundation, gloss)

I never wore make up at all until I started playing in the worship team.
Those cameras can zoom right in and when your face appears like 3 foot high
on the overhead, all those zits look like the size of a bus. Lol

Now I wear it maybe half a dozen times a year on special occasions or
important things.

Olive oil is great, but after some time the skin will get used to it and may be a little dry. Its recommended, after a longer time of usage, to switch for some time to jojoba oil (but this one is more expensive) and then return back to olive oil.
My skin already tends to be oily..putting oil on it makes me cringe ;(

See that's just the thing I don't understand. Growing up I was always taught, be Yourself! Be the best you that you can be. Don't worry about what everyone else is doing, just do you.

Makeup is literally the opposite of all that. It is caving to social pressures. Its masking yourself to fit in.

We all scratch our heads and wonder why people like Kim Kardashian and J'WOW and Lady Gaga dominate the headlines, and yet to a degree, I don't see the daylight between how they appear and how a lot of women appear.
I dont feel pressured to wear makeup. When I choose to wear it, I do so because I feel better about myself. I feel more confident and put together. I don't feel it's necessary for me to cake it on.

We all have personal preferences. It's important not to let the insignificant things get it the way of the significant ones. True beauty comes from ones ability to love, and true love comes from God.
When we focus on what matters, everything else won't matter near as much as you would have thought it did.

I'm not going to say where I got the images or who the girls are but... I'll let you see and then I'll explain.

The images on the left look like real people, that I would want to approach or actually talk to. And the people on the left I would just as soon not talk to or pretend they didn't exist.

It wasn't until I saw these that it hit me, how biased(?) I am. I suppose I have been very judgmental of people who wear makeup. Simply ignoring them or believing they were shallow or one dimensional or using it to cover a train wreck of emotional scars.

BUT, in this personal discovery I noticed that I am a minority. Most guys like the girls on the right more than the ones on the left.

So yeah.
I totally agree with you. I’m 25 and female and I haven’t worn makeup in several months. It doesn’t upset me if other women do... as most do... because it doesn’t matter to my life. However, I used to wear lots of make up everyday... and I know why I was doing it. I was personally doing it to get the attention I wanted from guys. Well after getting the attention I wanted... I no longer want that shallow attention. I still get hit on even not wearing make up and it makes me so uncomfortable simply because I’m being hit on because people are shallow and think I’m outwardly attractive because they don’t even know me. It’s gross and I hate it. This is why I don’t wear make up much anymore because I don’t want this attention. If I ever do meet a guy and we get married, I don’t want him to love me because of my outward appearance. I’ve had to many guys in my life like that. I want someone who genuinely loves the Lord and sees Him in me. Anything else is a totally destructive waste of my life.

I didn't feel the need to wear makeup today and I felt great. Some days however, I don't feel so confident going around looking all weak eyed. Lol

I feel the same frequently :) One thing that I just HAVE to do is add to my sparce eyebrows. Years of over plucking has left its sad little mark...or is it sad little bald spots? hehe
Even when I'm at home all day I fill them in a bit. That way I'm not alarmed when I look in the mirror. I feel like a look like a pre-cog from Minority Report when they aren't on. :p

I should pay more attention to my eyebrows most likely. I had a guy on here message me once and ask why it looks like I have no eyebrows. Guess mine aren't as dark as my hair .

I hazzz eyebrows. I used to get them done. It may sound weird to some, but getting them waxed was relaxing to me lol.

But I just let them be for now. I could pluck them but meh. Lol.

I should have ! Yeah... he was a bit rude to me. He had currently asked for my number and I told him I didn't give it out.... so I don't think I was his favorite person. Lol

I dom’t Wear much make-up but I guess famous people in the spotlight do have a lot of pressure & am expectation on them to wear make-up. It’s part of who they are almost. Part of their image.

It's better for a woman to have too little eyebrow than too much eyebrow. :sneaky:
