My name is Mike and I truly have a heart for all people on this earth to know G-d and His Messiah Yeshua/Jesus. It is evident that the church has done a wonderful if not an excelling job at reaching various nations (especially in the last 50 years), and spreading the word of G-d to the best of their abilities. But does it not stump you for one minute, that we are not reaching Orthodox Jews? One needs to go no further than any of the Gospels or Romans 11 to recognize one major part of being a "Christian" or "Follower of the Messiah", is to reach the Jewish people about their 100% Kosher/Jewish Messiah. To go even further, we know that Yeshua/Jesus has not completed the FULL mission of what a Messiah must do and the Jews call this Mashiach Ben Yosef (Messiah Son of Yosef) and he will need to return as Mashiach Ben David. Now, this is not to disregard the teachings of Sha'ul/Paul to the Gentiles and their non-observance of the Torah, but as Colossians 1:9-13 teaches us, we even as Gentiles have the Spirit to KNOW G-d's wisdom (Torah), in order to "provoke" Jews back to their Messiah.

Question: Why are we either not reaching this goal of redeeming the Orthodox Jewish Community OR why are we not questioning ourselves for not fulfilling such a major part of our role, which will ring in the Messiah's 2nd coming?

Jesus reach very few Jews, so why do you expect to be more successful.
Reaching the Jews has nothing to do with the seconding of Christ.
Scripture states that in the last days few will come, many will fall away.
Israel will believe only when they see Him at His second coming.

Good question why are we not trying to reach those called the antichrists? After all the veil is rent .

I heard on the radio that in Telavi one or the larger cities of Israel that there is only one bookstore that offers the new testament and it could be closing its doors.

Every human being has a right to an opinion and a right to believe what they choose to believe. However, the truth is undeniable and truth is the only thing that separates one from lies of the adversary and one who follows G-d. Here are the facts presented by G-d Himself:

a) Romans 1:16 - 1st to the Jew, THEN to the Gentile.
b) Most if not all the disciples who Jesus/Yeshua reached himself were Jewish: Shimon Kefa, Andrew, Ya'akov, Yochanan, Philip, Bar-Talmai, T'oma, Mattityahu, Ya'akov Bar-Halfai, Taddai, Shimon the Zealot and Y'hudah (Matthew 10:2-4)
c) (Matthew 10:5-6) "Do not go to the territory of the Gentiles, and do not enter any town in Shomron, but go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel..."
d) Matthew 15:25 - "I was sent onnly to the lost sheep of the House of Israel"...(of course Yeshua had mercy for the WHOLE world, including Gentiles like yourself)
e) ALL of Romans 11 (11-12) "In that cause, I say, isn't it that they have stumbled with the result that they (Jews) have permanently fallen away? HEAVEN FORBID. Quite the contrary, it is by means of their stumbling that the deliverance has come to the Gentiles, in order to provoke them to jealous. Moreover, if their stumbling brings riches to the world (Because if all of Israel accepted Yeshua, there would be no Messiah for the Gentiles...) that is if Israel's being placed temporarily in a condition less favoured that that of the Gentiles is bringing riches to the latter...HOW MUCH GREATER RICHES will Israel in its fullness bring them"
f) (Matthew 23:39) "For I tell you (Jews because his only audience in Jerusalem was heavily Jews), from now on, you will not see me again until you say, "Blessed is he who comes in the name of the L-rd" (Psalm 118:26).
g) The entire Torah (Genesis - Deuteronomy) Speaks of an Eternal Covenant with Israel 100's of times...and I won't even start with the Torah and the Tanakh.
h) Acts 4:4 speaks clearly of people at the Temple and again, primarily only Jews lived in Jerusalem and 5,000 came to belief.

I'll stop there, because that is more than enough evidence to counter your statement "Jesus reached few Jews" & "Reaching the Jews has nothing to do with the second coming of Christ". I purposely used NT scripture so I could relate to you. If you can answer all those passages to support your comment, please feel free to but repenting and stating you were wrong (not for my sake) but for your own, would be a very good thing to do and I pray that you do :)

Absolutely but it is clear that Orthodox Jews are not sitting in our churches and they are the only reason we have salvation. They hold the keys to many spiritual gifts (Matt 23:1-3, Romans 15:17, Romans 11, etc). That is the only reason for this post. I spend much of my time helping anyone who needs help Knowing G-d.

Orthodox jews are not the reason. Jesus was not orthodox. They shunned and still do shun him.

There are many jews in my church. A christian would no longer be an orthodox jew.

Jesus did indeed go the Jews first and instructed His diciples to do the same.
But if you look at the evidence, more rejected Jesus that accepted Him, and even fewer after His death.
Show me Scripture that states that the Jews will accept Christ before His return if you can.
I wish this was not true but it is.
I pray for the salvation of all the lost, Jew and Gentile every day.
I have no need to repent for stating what the Bible teaches.

Dunno, may just be me.........but I kinda think God (with an o) had a wee bit to do with it. Did they reject Christ? Yup, but methinks God knew what H was doing when He established His salvation plan for mankind.

BTW......what are you doing to reach the Orthahardheads? I'm kinda busy where I am, and the only hardheart/heads we got here are catfish............

There is so much more, but do not deny for a moment that Jews hold such spiritual gifts and Yeshua himself told us to listen to them (Matt 23:1-3). But just like Jesus said by reiterating Moshe's words in Deut. "Man shall not live on bread alone by by every WORD that comes out of the mouth for the L-rd" (which is a clear reference only to Torah because there was no other word at that time). So if you believe that Jews do not play the most significant role in this worlds redemption, I would like you to prove it.

Romans 1:16....To the Jew 1st...

That is funny. First off Y-shua reach 8 of the nine authors of the N.T. who are Jews, and there are countless Jews that died in Messiah over the centuries and there are over a million Jews saved today; if Messiah did not reach them …. Who did... From the commit it can be inferred not by using people who care so little, so that shows it's Him even more because He finds people who loves what He loves and that is the People who are the apple of His eye.

The Jews people have everything to do with the second coming, He said we "you" to the Jewish people will not see Him again until we say, "Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord."

We will see the Second coming of Messiah and shouting.... Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord"....

I know that millions of Jews have been saved, but a majority have rejected Him.
And the truth is that more rejected Jesus during His personal ministry ( about 3 1/2 years) than accepted Him as Messiah.
If you think there is going to be a great revival and most Jews will be saved before Jesus returns, you have no understanding of Scripture.

EVEN NOW there is a remnant according the election of grace..........and God is clear.....under the New Covenant both Jews and Gentiles have been folded in under the same banner of faith....the two have become ONE.....and Zechariah is clear....the remnant according to the election of grace will collectively look upon him whom they pierced and weep for him as one weeps for a first born son............we must also NEVER deny the fact that TEMPORARY blindness has come to the Jewish people so as to allow salvation to come to the Gentiles......

My thoughts exactly d. We are to pray for there peace and when opportunities arise preach the gospel. But it is far more complicated than average.

I will say this clearly, I have a heart for all Gentiles, for I am one too, but my comment and post is for the LACK of effort on Orthodox Jewish Evangelism. But do you know why today Orthodox Jews do not come? Because of statements like yours. Did you ever think for a moment, that it is Yeshua the Best Jew ever, that gave any sort of hope to Gentiles to know of a "Messiah" or 'H-Shem/G-d"? It is the Jewish people who of courses failed many times, but still G-d found favour with them in order to fulfill His covenant with Avraham (Genesis 18:18/22:18 "The Nations/Gentiles shall be BLESSED by your offspring..."). Like Paul says in Colossians 1:21 "...you at one time were separated from G-d had a hostile attitude towards Him because of your wicked deeds...".

Just like Romans 11 tells any Gentile never to boast over Jews who stumbled but in fact to know that Jews come 1st...."Their stumbling caused us to have salvation.....if their stumbling brings riches....HOW MUCH MORE WHEN THEY COME TO KNOW YESHUA!!!". I am sorry you cannot read the wisdom throughout the entire Jewish Bible, that you need it spelt out for you to know that G-d loves the Jews and even had His son die because they weren't ready, and NEEDS them to come back before Yeshua can return. But I pray, that you change your perspective and lack of importance on such people because it is not hard to see by physical evidence, that G-d's hand is over them more than anyone else, for they still bless the world today through their wisdom, technology, scientists, extreme humanitarian IDF military, etc.....even seculars know how powerful the Jews are (or destructive sadly at times).

Again....Luke 13:34-35....answer that....

You must never forget, that Paul is pointing to a day that Gentiles must revile the Messiah in a Kosher manner. Do you think Jesus/Yeshua is any way different today as Yosef/Joseph was in Egypt? There are endless books on the coming of Mashiach Ben Yosef and Mashiach Ben David and their differences and they COMPLETELY parallel the life and history and 2,000's of Jesus/Yeshua? It is in our hands to either bring the Messiah to the Jewish people (and that will cost some of us our lives) and we must never boast over them. I pray daily however for ALL souls to know the REAL Jesus and fulfill their roles that we are all called to do.
